"Jiang? Are you okay now?"

Lou Jiang titled his head and grasped the sides of the sofa the moment he woke up. He passed out a while ago because of losing too much blood, the wound was deep afterall. 

"The glass wall!" he unconsciously exclaimed 

Gung Weixi furrowed his eyebrows "Glass wall?" he asked 

"Yes! The glass wall! The big glass wall!"

Lou Jiang grabbed his own hair in disappointment, probably Gung Weixi couldn't remember it anymore or maybe his father erased his memories.

He was stunned when a warm hug enveloped his body, so tight that he almost got no air to breath. "XV00!!! Are you XV00?!" Gung Weixi exclaimed beside his ears 

{XV00?? Is that my name as a test subject? It's kinda uhh...I don't like it}

"I guess.." then he smiled when Gung Weixi let him go "Do you still remember me?" he asked

Gung Weixi lowered his head "You're my only friend…" he mumbled

'DING! LOVE METER: 90%'

{Ehhh??!! He's blushing! In times like this?!}

Lou Jiang cleared his throat and scanned the room "Where's Senior Jun?" he asked 

Gung Weixi explained to him that Senior Jun went straight to the higher ups to report what happened. Wu Jun said that he also wants to do something to help them. Rui's appearance was still unknown but they got this one lead, the one he's calling MASTER.

"Weixi...We need to trace him, Rui" he said,showing how determined he is

Lou Jiang was not in the mood to play around anymore. He was waiting for this moment,he stood up "You stay here, I'm going somewhere" he started to fix his shirt

Not an inch away from the sofa, Gung Weixi pulled him back "I'm going too!!" He sprang up

Lou Jiang paused and looked at the male's hand tucked to his wrist "B-But? I'm going to your father.." 

Gung Weixi tightened his grip "Then, you need me…" he replied sternly

The two headed out. Lou Jiang still remembered the passage from Wu Jun's office. He wasn't sure if they could use it or if it was a safe way.  They have no choice but to use that, that's the only way to Gung Rouhan.

And Lou Jiang was not mistaken, they opened the secret passage without much difficulty. The two strided the quiet soundproof and white painted corridors. 

"Isn't it a bit suspicious?" Gung Weixi whispered. "It wasn't guarded" he commented

Lou Jiang frowned and paused for a second.  Admittedly, it was just too easy for them to get in and it seemed like there was no one there but them.  Couldn't they be in a trap?  Or maybe they are just lucky?

And before he could gather his thoughts back, something like instinct hit Lou Jiang's system.

"Weixi!! Duck!!"

He unconsciouly grabbed Gung Weixi and pinned both of their bodies down. "My instincts were never wrong!" 

Five knives flew in mid air like it was aiming for something. Luckily, it didn't hit the two but one of those sharp objects landed beside Lou Jiang's head. 

Footsteps invaded their ears and before they could hide,they were already surrounded by men in black suits.

A familiar laugh once again conquered the silence in the atmosphere. "Hello! We've met again!!" Rui exclaimed in delight.

Lou Jiang swallowed the lump of saliva stuck in his throat. Rui was a big threat for them. He was like a psycho without heart, killing was fun for him.

Lou Jiang rustled towards Gung Weixi's back and whispered. "Do you know how to fight?"

Without any second thoughts, Lou Jiang spread his right leg and swung it swiftly. The five men fell on their knees. 

He grabbed Gung Weixi "Run!!" 

Rui was stunned by Lou Jiang's action, he smirked mischievously "You're interesting, brother Jiang!"

He dashed like lightning towards the two. Their pace caught up.

Lou Jiang and Rui's eyes met in a slow motion, both with threats on their faces. 

"Guess this one will turn to action.." Lou Jiang stopped and pushed Gung Weixi onto the corner and smirked.

Rui stopped and turned around,he was going to Gung Weixi when a forceful grip spun him down. "Where do you think you're going?" He met Lou Jiang's sharp eyes above him.

"Heh?..." He smacked Lou Jiang's neck which made the male parted away from him. Rui stood up and picked up his knife. "I guess I will take care of you first" he chuckled 

Before he could do his second moves, Lou Jiang was already behind him. He pushed Rui down,pulling his hand on his back. Rui released the knife.

"Let me go!" He snarled

Lou Jiang pressed him more "I don't have any intention of hurting you so please...don't make things hard for us...We can help you" he said

Rui froze "Help?" He smirked "Don't make me laugh, you don't know about me…" his eyes raged up "Let me go!!! I will kill you both!!!"

Gung Weixi then dashed towards the two, he picked up some useful things from those five men, he beat them all alone while Rui and Lou Jiang were fighting.

"Are you alright, Jiang?!" He gasped, gathering his strength back

Rui saw the atmosphere between the two, it was somehow painful. It made his nerves tremble, he despised people like them. He was longing for love for so long and yet destiny was so cruel to him after giving him a hard life. 

"There's no such thing as love!" He kicked Lou Jiang away.

Rui took a few steps backward while unbuttoning his polo "You guys…" he sneered "Are the most disgusting creatures I have ever seen…" he laughed hysterically

The tiny body completely removed his polo, revealing some wires wrapped around his body. There were glowing digits glued to his chest. A bomb who was nearly on its end.

"No!!!!!!" Lou Jiang trembled "L-Let me h-help you!!!!" He yelled "Don't do this!!!"

Gung Weixi read the digits and based on it, they only have 1 minute. He pulled Lou Jiang "Let me do it! I can remove the bomb" he suggested which made the male beside him frozen.

"No! Stop!"

Rui yelled as he took another step away. He couldn't believe this was all happening to him. But it doesn't matter anymore, he already left something for his mother and siblings. They can live without him and besides he doesn't want to spend his life as a criminal. He already made up his mind when the situation turned like this.

He watched how the two loved and cared for each other, he somehow felt jealous. 

20 seconds….

Happy moments from his life flashed vividly in this illusion of him.

10 seconds….

The way his mother smiled and told him to stop worrying about her condition. He'll never see that smile again.

5 seconds….

He lowered his head, tears now welled up beside his eyes. He was imagining a good life with his family but now wasn't the right time.

1 second….

He lifted his head and looked straight towards Lou Jiang and Gung Weixi.

Rui flashed a smile, a painful one behind those tears. His lips curved some words "Thank you, for showing me what love is…"

The place lit up, exploding it to distraction. Everything played in slow motion to Lou Jiang's eyes.He was deafened from Rui's death. He watched how the fire slowly drowned the kid onto it. He was very late, too late...

"Jiang!!!!"

He was pulled into the corner, a safe corner from the railing and falling debris. 

"Are you okay?" 

Gung Weixi was stunned, Lou Jiang was shaking and restless. He must be shocked by what happened. His eyes started to cry out "I-I want to s-save h-him…." He mumbled, followed by heavy sobs

Gung Weixi enveloped him into his embrace.. "It's not your fault" he made a peck to the male's forehead "Please gather yourself back" his pupils blazed in hatred "We will seek revenge" he uttered.
