"Are you okay now?" 

Asher asked the moment William finished drinking the bottle of water. He waited for the male to calm down after that tearing situation.

William lowered his head and started to fidget his fingers as he nodded his head.

{Crap! What am I even thinking a while ago?! I almost blurted out that I like him!!}

AUTHOR: Well, it can't be help...you have your own heart after all

William blushed his cheeks in embarrassment, hoping that the ground would open up and swallow him alive. He must be out of his mind to say that. Asher moved closer to him which made him flinch when their shoulders touched. 

William backed away a little "I-I'm fine now!!! No need to worry about me!!" He exclaimed while blocking his hands in the air

It delivered a relief to Asher after seeing the male's reaction. He then tapped William's back "Good to hear that" he said

Silence fell into them once more. 

William gazed once more at the city lights, because this time they chose the seat near the ledge above the view of the place. Somehow, the illuminations from it were giving a relaxing sight.

"Sorry…"

He released a long sigh "Sorry for forcing you to do this and that, I wasn't even thinking about if it was okay with you" he uttered with his guilty voice.

Asher quickly reacted "No no no!! It was my fault for not understanding anything before thinking…" he replied

"What do you mean?"

Redness leaked all over Asher's face "The day when you and Daniel went out to the park…" he lowered his head "I heard something…" he was hesitant from his tone "L-Like...I'm not that important to y-you" he said

"Ehh?!!"

William blurted out after hearing it which made him recall the conversation between him and Daniel that time. "No! No! No! It's not what you think it is!!" He quickly defended himself "I was a little worried at that time about you having a fever because you'd never answer my calls and texts...and I thought…"

He started to fidget his fingers "I thought I'm not that important to you too, that's why I said that'' William said with his lips pursing a little

Asher was dumbfounded, not even knowing what to react. He was the one who mistook it after all. "I'm sorry for not responding immediately through your texts and calls, you know I have unstable relationship with my father and he was always trying to control me until now" he said

William stood up and cupped Asher's cheeks "You're wrong! Your father loves you so much, he was just worried about you" he said with determined eyes "I can tell even though he tried to threaten me" he added

Asher was a little speechless from what he heard, he was surprised by William's reaction because his pupils were full of consideration towards his old man. 

He placed his warm palms onto William's hand and pressed it against his own cheeks "Well, if it's from you I will consider it" he smiled which made the other male red.

William quickly steps back after feeling the lovey dovey atmosphere, he can feel his heart beating so fast. He turned around and slapped his cheeks secretly then he faced Asher again. "Ok! Let's go for a walk!" He suggested.

"Uhhh...I thought we were going to walk?" William asked the moment they entered Asher's black Sierra 2500 Denali car pick up.

The male lean closer to him and helped him tucked in his seatbelt "Walking at this late night is dangerous, let's do a night ride" he smiled before parting away

William was left in the passenger's seat surprised, because Asher's face was super close to him a while ago as he tucked the seatbelt, although he can do it alone the male insisted on doing it.

{Why am I getting tense here, this is his car after all}

William shakes his head to sway the thoughts, he then glances at Asher who was quietly driving beside him.

Come to think of it, the male was definitely looking handsome just by driving without any effort. William looked at his side profile for a minute, he was enjoying Asher's face while it was glimmering under the lamp posts they're passing by. 

He was already captivated by the omega's charm without even realizing it. 

"If you stare at me for so long, you'll make a hole on my face"

William was startled after realizing that he was observing the male so hard that Asher almost noticed him. The omega gave him a smile as they turned to the right "I have this favorite spot, I'm always going there when I want to sort things out of myself" he said

It left a wondering expression on William "Are you always alone?" He asked

Asher made a half smile "Yes, I'm always alone because I was still afraid to trust someone completely...you're the first one" he replied

William then turned silent at the moment, questioning himself whether he will apologize for what he said or if he will give the omega a comfort. He was a complete stranger that suddenly came inside Asher's life and yet the male welcomed him without doubts.

"I-I'm sorry…"

Asher looked at him "Why are you apologizing?" He asked the other male beside him who turned gloomy in an instant.

William then glanced at the road "It's because I think I'm giving you a hard time…" but quickly sprang up with beaming eyes "But if you need someone! I'm here!!!" He exclaimed with his pupils dilating hope.

'DING! LOVE METER: 75%'

It made Asher jolted from his driving position as it left him with half open lips. From the dynamic number of people he had met, no one said that kind of words to him. It was always one sided like his mafia underlings, it was their job to back him up in times of danger but he never felt something like this towards them.

A smile stretches his cheeks "Mhm!! I would expect that!" He exclaimed with a happy heart.
