Transmigrated Into The Book

Yuxian and Ling Ling started under the tree, both of them sat down on the bench. Yuxian Pulled the little girl towards him. "Stay close to Mimi,kay?" he said.

Ling Ling nodded her head and stayed close.She was still young but she was an obedient child, she didn't want her parents to worry about her. Yuxian let their shoulders touch, making sure that he wouldn't lose the kid. 

"Mimi, look!!" 

Yuxian was startled when the little girl suddenly called him, he turned his gaze to the place where Ling Ling was pointing her finger. There was the balloon man, with the other kids flocking around him. There are different colors and styles of it, some balloons are heart shaped and some are in cartoon character designs. Surely, the kids will be enchanted by it. 

Before Yuxian could realize, Ling Ling already dragged him towards the balloon man. Ling Ling slightly grabbed the hem of his shirt, "Mimi, Can I have a balloon?" she asked, cute expression and pleading eyes. 

Yuxian looked down at the girl and saw in her eyes how she liked the balloon so much. Ling Ling was a kid after all so he bought 1 balloon for her. "What color do you want?" he asked. The little girl jumped from excitement while pointing at the bear style medium size balloon. 

The balloon vendor quickly parted it away from the other ones and gave it to Ling Ling. The girl's eyes were almost beaming in delight after receiving what she wanted. Yuxian paid it before the two went back to their seats. 

Under the afternoon sun, Yuxian watched the young girl enjoy her youth. Since the place wasn't crowded like earlier, he let Ling Ling play but only in the area where he can roam his eyes. He didn't realize that there was a mini playground in front of them so he let the girl go.

While waiting for the alpha, Yuxian watched Ling Ling and enjoyed her youth. She was climbing to the medium height of the monkey bar, back and forth. After getting bored of it, she will climb to the slides and enjoy herself down. She was enjoying it so much. 

Suddenly, Yuxian felt something bang his head, it made him wince. He put his palm on his forehead and brushed his hair up. His eyes squinted when he felt a sting on his head, he must be tired from walking, he guessed. When he was going to lift his head up to watch Ling Ling, the side of his eyes turned blurry and hot. 

"I feel like I'm gonna puke," he uttered to himself. Before anything else or before anything could happen. "Ling Ling?" he called out. He didn't know if his voice was too loud to call the girl. He couldn't even hear himself anymore because there were also buzzing sounds in his ears. 

"Ling Ling?" He called once more. "Ling Ling, Come here for a second," he said.

Yuxian grasped the side of the bench, he needed to calm down. He started to take deep breaths, he thought that it was only normal for a pregnant omega to feel this way. While he was taking deep breaths, he found himself slowly recovering. 

His eyes started to feel light again, it worked. Although the surroundings are still like a rollercoaster ride, Yuxian managed to turn his gaze to where the little girl was. 

"Ling Ling!!?"

Yuxian widened his eyes, blinking it triple times. He supported himself by leaning his palm on the branch of the tree. The mini playground was still there and also the kids. He scanned the youngsters one by one, but there was no girl with shoulder length hair and amethyst eyes.

Ling Ling was gone!

Yuxian again, scanned the surroundings. "Ling Ling?!" he called out. No one answered him.

He tried to step forward, maybe the little girl was inside the round enveloped slides. He tried to look in areas near his eyes, there was no one.

{ Oh my! I think I lost her! What should I do?! What should I do?!!}

And before Yuxian could snap back, a familiar man called his name out. It made him turn to his side, but his chest got more nervous when he realized that it was Rui Jun. 

Yuxian again started to make heavy breaths while gasping. He didn't want to overthink things but he was scared to tell what happened. 

Rui Jun of course noticed the expression on his face so he embraced the omega and brushed his back slowly. "Honey, you are having that scary expression on your face," he said.

That's when Yuxian snapped back again, he parted from the male's embrace and grasped his shoulders instead. "Ling Ling!" he blurted out. 

Rui Jun looked at him with a puzzled face. "Where's Ling Ling?" he asked.

Yuxian jolted and it made him squeeze the alpha more "S-She w-was t-there a wh-while ag…" another hug enveloped him. Rui Jun brushed his hair, "Calm down, it's okay...tell me slowly." he whispered. 

"Ling Ling was here a while ago," Yuxian started to explain. "I bought her a balloon because she likes it, then I let her play since the mini playground was just right in front of my eyes…" He took deep breaths, calming down. " Then I...I suddenly felt dizzy and my surroundings turned black for a while.." he lowered his head. "After it I didn't know what happened..I think I lost her." he said with still a sullen expression in his eyes.

Rui Jun turned silent, he clenched his jaw. He wasn't angry at Yuxian, he was angry at himself for letting his omega take responsibility. He wanted to smack himself right now, he was the father and yet he left Yuxian with Ling Ling. 

He could see the guilt and sadness on Yuxian's eyes, he must be blaming himself. "Honey, I'm very sorry" he hugged the male very tightly. "I'm very sorry, please don't blame yourself." Then he parted away. "Let's find her together…"
