"Jiangye?" Yuxian blinked his eyes. "J-Jiangye? Are you oka….." he was stunned when he heard a sniff from the lady sitting beside him. He moved closer and grabbed Jiangye's shoulders, "Why are you crying!?" he exclaimed after seeing her teary eyes and a snot.

Jiangye sniffled, "Y-You're s-so c-cruel…" she mumbled, wiping her eyes.

Yuxian backed away, "Ehhhh??!!! Why me?!" he exclaimed again.

The lady again sobbed and sniffed her snot, "Are you avoiding me because you know that I still like you?" she said, cracking her voice like a kid.

{Wait! Wait! Wait! What?!!! She liked me?!!}

Since Yuxian and Yang couldn't understand a single thing about this, he moved closer to the lady and embraced her. "I'm sorry, okay? Please don't cry" he said, caressing her hair. The sweet scent from the other omega surprised Yuxian. "She's very sweet," he mumbled to himself.

He also grabbed the box of tissue from the glass table and handed it to Jiangye, the lady took it and wiped her snot. Yuxian went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, while pouring water from the pitcher, he sighed. "I didn't know that she was soft and childish," he whispered to himself.

When he returned to the living room, the woman was calm. He handed her a glass of water, "Drink first," he said. Jiangye took it and gulped in one go. 

"I'm s-sorry, I was a bit exaggerated," she mumbled with her red face, you can clearly see that she was hiding her embarrassment. 

Yuxian took the glass from her and put it down on the table, "It's okay, You know I was a little bit uncomfortable with this pregnancy so I might be forgetting things accidentally," He smiled nervously, wishing that Jiangye would believe his excuses. 

He was totally telling lies.Who can forget things just because of pregnancy? Yuxian was making excuses because he didn't know the thing between him and Jiangye. He didn't want to jump to conclusions either so he chose to ask, "What do you mean by mentioning that you like me?"

Jiangye's action made her more obvious. She quickly averted her gaze in front with her blushing cheeks. "W-Well, you know...I confess t-to you before your wedding day," she mumbled.

{I'm literally dead!}

"Did Rui Jun know about this?" That was the first question that came from Yuxian's mouth. He furrowed his brows, thinking that maybe Jiangye was just testing his mental state to check him. The woman sprang up from her seat "Of course he didn't know!!" she exclaimed "How could I tell him?! He's my bestfriend and I don't want him to accuse me of such things!'' she said, again her eyes were teary.

Yuxian waved his hands in the air, "Okay Okay! Calm down, I won't tell him," he said, assuring the woman.

{Is she really a doctor? Lmaoo! I can clearly see that she was a child}

Jiangye sat down and grabbed Yuxian's hands, pressing it together. "Really?!" she exclaimed like a dog wagging it's tail.

"Of course I will nev….."

A small body jumped between them, it seems that the little girl was hiding behind the sofa. She suddenly showed up, "Ling Ling like Mimi too!" she exclaimed. The sudden intrusion of Ling Ling made the two turn to stone, seeing their souls flee away from their bodies.

"Jiangye, Thank you so much for taking care of my wife," Rui Jun took off his suit and hung it on the chair as he sat down. He asked Ling Ling's nanny to prepare tea for them.

Jiangye glanced at Yuxian and Ling Ling, "Of c-course," she said, feeling the sweat from her forehead. She watched over Yuxian until Rui Jun came home from work. And now that they were facing each other at the same table, she couldn't help but be nervous.

Ling Ling who was beside Rui Jun kept on glancing at her too with a cunning smile on her face, while Yuxian couldn't even look at her. 

"Why are you guys very quiet? Did something happen?" Rui Jun asked. He immediately noticed the atmosphere between them. Of course, Jiangye came here as a doctor so if there are important matters, she needed to tell him.

This time, Yuxian initiated the conversation, "N-Nothing honey," he chuckled nervously which made him more suspicious just by calling Rui Jun 'honey'. He turned his gaze down and kicked Jiangye's foot under the table.

The woman jolted from surprise, "Y-Yes! There is n-nothing w-wrong!" she blurted out, scratching the back of her nape. 

"Didi!!" Ling Ling sprang up from her seat and climbed to Rui Jun's lap. She sat there very comfortably. "Aunt Jiangye, like…" she was stopped 

"Jiangye likes apples!!" Yuxian blurted out, glaring at Jiangye to get what he meant. 

"Y-Yes! Ling Ling was a smart kid, she knew that I like apples,ehehe" The lady answered, still unsure of what the kid might spit out.

The sudden interruption made Ling Ling frowned, she crossed her arms, "That's not it!" she snorted. "I like Mimi and Aunt Jiangye also like M…." she was stopped again.

"Me?!" Jiangye clapped her hands nervously, "Yes Ling Ling you are right, I like you very very much" she said, giggling nervously.

When Yuxian noticed the puzzled face from Rui Jun, he stood up and touched Jiangye's shoulders. "H-Honey, I want to sleep.." he secretly clenched the lady's shoulders. "Can we let Doctor Jiangye go home now?" He emphasized every word.

Jiangye stood up, "Y-Yeah, Yuxian needs a lots lots of rest so I will also go now, see you again" She glanced at Ling Ling. "Bye little cute princess, Aunt will leave now" she waved her hands.

Although still dumbfounded, Rui Jun nodded his head. "Y-Yeah, bye…" he replied.

Yuxian accompanies Jiangye towards the door. He looked around to make sure that no one was there. "Don't mention that ever again," he whispered to Jiangye.

The woman nodded her head and quickly stepped out towards her car. Yuxian closed the door and leaned on it. He released a long sigh, "That was close," he was relieved.
