{Is he crying? For real?}

Yuxian was surprised after seeing Rui Jun crying in front of him. The alpha wasn't sobbing, he was just sniffing. He lowered his head to avoid meeting Yuxian's eyes.

Yuxian ruffled Rui Jun's hair, "Why are you crying? I won't go anywhere" he said.

Rui Jun wiped his eyes and faced the omega, "I don't want you to go anywhere" he uttered. He lifted up his hand and caressed Yuxian's cheeks "I always wanted to see your pretty face, honey" he said, still with a sullen expression.

Yuxian wanted to comfort him because it was early for this kind of scene and besides he will do everything to make this a happy ending. Of course he wanted to see this child inside his womb before leaving this world. He wanted to know if it would look like him or if it would look like Rui Jun or Ling Ling. He can almost imagine their happy faces while they're touching the newborn. 

Yuxian turned around, gripping his scarf towards his chest, "Let's go inside, It's getting cold here" he uttered. To his surprise, he felt his body slowly levitating in the air. He realized that Rui Jun carried him towards the bedroom.

The alpha closed the glass door of the balcony and laid Yuxian gently on the bed. "It's already late, you should go to sleep," he said, pulling the blanket onto the omega's chest. When he was about to stand up, Yuxian pulled him back. "Are you still going to work?" he asked.

Rui Jun finished everything so he smiled, "I'm done," he replied. "Do you want something?" he asked.

Yuxian clenched his hem, "I want cuddles, sleep beside me," he said. Blushing face as he averted his gaze.

The alpha grinned and lifted up the blanket. Yuxian moved a little, giving space for the alpha. Rui Jun pulled him towards his chest and brushed his hair, "I'm staying here so sleep," he said. 

Yuxian snuggled inside Rui Jun's embrace, "So warm," he mumbled with a half smile. He can feel the alpha's heartbeat to the point that he doesn't want to hear anything else. He just wants to stay like that forever. 

"Are you feeling cold, honey? Are you sure you are okay?"

Yuxian nodded his head, "Yes! I like your hugs," he said, sniffing the alpha. This time, Yuxian smelled something sweet and enchanting from the man. His pheromones are slowly invading his nostrils which is making him feel sleepy. "So sweet," he mumbled.

Rui Jun was also feeling his own heartbeat, racing so fast. He let his pheromones spread in the air to comfort his omega. He felt the trembling legs of the other male so he pulled the blanket more towards Yuxian. He lifted the omega's chin and tapped his forehead,"You are trembling," he said. 

Yuxian made a grin then he held the alpha's hand and placed it on his cheeks, "My cheeks are cold too" he said as he closed his eyes which made him cute in Rui Jun's eyes. 

Rui Jun chuckled, redness leaked all over his cheeks. "Honey, are you seducing me?" he asked,lifting the omega's hand and kissing his wrist. "You are too adorable"

Yuxian smiled, "I wanted to stay like this forever with you"

"1...2...3...4...5"

Yuxian shrugged his shoulders down while scanning the colorful medicines on his palm. "Do I have to take this all?" he mumbled, furrowed brows. 

"Mimi is strong! Mimi can take that all!" the little girl who was sitting beside him on the dining table cheered him up. They had just finished breakfast and Yuxian had to take these medicines that Jiangye had just prescribed.

Yuxian glanced at Ling Ling, he can almost feel the flowery aura from the girl. "Ling Ling don't pressure Mimi, this is too much," he said, smiling nervously. 

Ling Ling sprang up and embraced the omega, "Mimi is strong enough!" she said. She leaned closer to the male and revealed her biceps, "Ling Ling will protect Mimi and the baby!" she proclaimed.

Yuxian chuckled and scoffed, he couldn't help but laugh because the little girl was too adorable. He poked the little girl's nose, "Okay, Okay" then he delivered the medicines in his mouth and took it all together with water. 

Meanwhile, Rui Jun came into the dining room with a lady by his side. 

"Aunt Jiangye!" Ling Ling dashed towards Jiangye and hugged the woman's legs. 

"Hi Ling Ling!" Jiangye grabbed the girl onto her arms and embraced her.

Rui Jun walked towards Yuxian and kissed his forehead. "Honey since I'm going to work, I will let Jiangye check you every minute…" he said, fixing his eyes at the omega "Please don't hesitate to tell her anything" he brushed Yuxian's hair.

Yuxian nodded his head and glanced at Jiangye, who immediately smiled back at him.

After minutes of talking to Jiangye, Rui Jun bid his goodbye.

Ling Ling went down from the woman's embrace and headed upstairs with her new nanny. The alpha got her one because he didn't want to pressure Yuxian so he hired a personal nanny for Ling Ling.

Jiangye quickly sat beside the omega when they reached the living room. Her eyes were beaming in so much excitement like she had a shelf of books that contained the stories she wanted to tell Yuxian.

She grabbed the male and hugged him, "Yuxian!! I miss talking to you!!" She exclaimed with her beaming eyes.

Yuxian was startled from her action, he was speechless. "Are we really this close?" He blurted that out again without thinking.

This time, Jiangye quickly parted away from him. The lady lowered her head and her jolly expression earlier turned into a blank face. "Did you really forget everything about us?" She mumbled.

Yuxian didn't know but the words from the woman made him flinch down his spine. Her reply feels like a vocabulary in a dictionary with meanings. He glanced at the woman, "J-Jiangye? I didn't mean to say it like that…" he said with a low voice.. He thought that it offended Jiangye, he didn't want to pick a fight with her.
