Transmigrated Into The Book

"Ow!"

Rui Jun groaned when his butt hit the floor. It was because Yuxian pushed him quickly when Ling Ling suddenly showed up. Who wouldn't be surprised though? They were kissing when the little girl popped out.

Ling Ling dashed towards her mother, "Are you going to make a new baby, Mimi?" she said, beaming eyes like she was very unaware of what she was asking.

Yuxian of course felt embarrassed and shy, he didn't know what to answer so he glanced at Rui Jun who just stood up from his sudden fall. He stepped towards the bed and pulled Ling Ling away towards his arms, "What are you doing here, my little princess?" he asked, trying to change the topic.

Ling Ling made a frown face "Of course I want to help Didi" she said. She crossed her arms and made a hump sound. "I want to go with Didi!" she snorted

Yuxian and Rui Jun looked at each other and both shrugged their shoulders down. The kid also asked her father if she could fit in the suitcase. The alpha put him down on the bed.

"Sweetheart, if you go with me who will take care of Mimi and baby?" Rui Jun faced Ling Ling with a gloomy face while his eyes were dilating in sadness. "I thought Ling Ling will protect Mimi and baby?" he asked again.

Ling Ling jolted from her seat, she glanced at Yuxian who also made a sad face then back toRui Jun who was almost tearing up. The sullen expressions from her parents hit her straight to the heart. 

The little girl stood straight with her chest high, "I will take care of Mimi and baby!" she proclaimed. "You can rest assured Didi, I will not follow you" she said again, facing her father with determined eyes.

Yuxian wanted to laugh,Ling Ling was so adorable. He didn't know that the little girl would turn that soft quickly. Ling Ling came closer to him then the little girl leaned down to his tummy, "Baby?" she called out, pressing her ears. "Big sister Ling Ling will never let you leave, I will stay here with you and Mimi," she said, her voice gentle.

After packing the things Rui Jun needed, the alpha took a bath and prepared himself for his afternoon flight. Their driver took them to the airport to let Yuxian and Ling Ling see off  the alpha.

Ling Ling fell asleep on the flight so when they got home, the nanny immediately took the child upstairs so Yuxian was left in the living room.

He wanted to take a rest but he didn't feel like sleeping. When his gaze turned to the flower vase on the middle of the glass table, he remembered the botanical garden. 

Yuxian's took the jacket hanging behind the door and trudged outside. His feet lead him to the garden he wanted to explore. As he opened the semi-arch iron gate, a butterfly swayed with it, preaching on his shoulders.

The butterfly flattered it's wings which made it more colorful in Yuxian's eyes, he stepped inside. In the corner of the long and wide botanical garden was a glass window, it was penetrating the dandelion afternoon sun. 

"This place is beautiful" Yuxian mumbled to himself. If he would be the one taking care of it, he will surely make a little library on it. For him, books are perfectly paired with nature.

Yuxian walked inside, he passed the flower that he and Ling Ling saw. It still continues to sprout and leaves a fresh odor in the air. He remembered the bench under the big and thick tree so he quickly scanned the surroundings. When he saw how green and beautiful the plants is, he couldn't help but ask himself, "Rui Jun should hire someone to look after this place"

When Yuxian took a turn to the right, he was stunned. The tree was still there but the bench under it was gone. "Ehh??!!" he exclaimed.

He blinked but it wasn't there, he rubbed his eyes again, it's still missing. He turned towards the empty space under the thick tree. "Where is it?! I will never mistake it's position!" he snorted.

Yuxian took deep breaths, trying to calm himself. He went there because he wanted to relax, he didn't want himself to get drowned on missing the alpha. Rui Jun needed to attend that business trip for their own sake too.

Yuxian massaged his temples as he closed his eyes. 

As soon as he opened his eyes, it immediately grew bigger again. He saw a shadow behind him, it was reflecting on the thick body of the tree. Yuxian completely felt the shivers run down his spine which made him flinch. 

"I need to run!" he exclaimed inside his thoughts, but when he was about to make a step. His right foot slipped, causing him to lose his balance. 

Yuxian felt his body alleviate in the air like he was going to fall, but instead of hitting his head, a warm embrace caught him just right in time. 

"Ehh??!!" Yuxian slowly opened his eyes, he was startled when he saw a face of a man closer to him. He was wearing a hat and the dandelion sun rays behind him were making his face shine. 

He saw a man with a surprise look, grayish spiky hair, the strands of his hair were illuminating every light. His eyes were fox liked, hawkish nose and thin lips forming an 'O'. There are sweats from his forehead, he must be doing something before catching the omega.

Yuxian was completely stunned, his tongue curled up inside his mouth. His face flashed a red expression, turning his ears and nape very hot. Their faces were so close that their noses were almost touching.

After noticing the omega's expression and the awkward position they're into. The mysterious man parted his face away and supported Yuxian from standing back. "Please be careful next time," He said.

Yuxian jolted, his voice was rough but calm. He felt like it tickled his ears and buzzed inside his head. He once again glanced at the man, realizing that he was wearing a gardener's uniform.. "Are y-you the g-gardener here?!" he exclaimed.
