"I'm so shocked!"

Yuxian almost pressed his face on the laptop screen. He is having a video call with Rui Jun. 

The man on the monitor brushed his face. "Honey, I'm very sorry, I forgot to tell you." Rui Jun sighed. "He was our new gardener"

Yuxian furrowed his brows as he released a long sigh, "I thought he was some kind of thief." he also brushed his face, recalling what happened at the garden.

He indeed startled after finding himself in the man's embrace, but he was thankful because it caught him him. "Well, it was his fault after all, he scared the hell out of me," he thought, making a half smile. 

Rui Jun, who was observing his facial expression, tapped the laptop screen. "Honey? Are you spacing out?" he asked.

Yuxian jolted, "Ehh?! Me?!" he fixed his facial expression and cleared his throat. "W-What is it?" he asked. "Do you need anything?" he added. 

The alpha scratched his temple. "Are you having a hard time there?"

Of course, the omega shook his head quickly. He didn't want to cause trouble to the male and besides, it was just only one day that they were apart. Rui Jun went there because he had some business and Yuxian didn't want to give him a bother. 

He smiled in front of the monitor and waved his hands in the air, saying that he and Ling Ling were very fine. He smiled again and showed an assured expression to him. 

After an hour of talking to each other, the secretary finally called Rui Jun. He secretly made a flying kiss towards Yuxian before hanging up the call. 

Yuxian sighed as he closed the laptop. He glanced at the glass window beside his desk; the weather was a little cold, and it rained earlier. He pulled his cardigan towards his chest, lifting his palm. Yuxian caressed his belly. It was already big. "Baby, please help me until Papa comes back," he mumbled.

In the middle of his thoughts, silently gazing at the rain drops patting on his glass window. The door slowly creaked opened, Ling Ling paused and peered beside the entrance. When she saw Yuxian's position, she entered the room.

"Mimi?" She's carrying a box of sweets. She took the seat across the squared desk table and faced the omega.

Yuxian made a puzzled face. "What's that?" he asked.

Ling Ling pulled the side of the box and revealed what was inside. "Cupcakes!" she exclaimed. You can see that she was drooling.

The sweet scents from the cute sized cupcakes mixed in the air. Yuxian gulped. It seemed delicious and he couldn't help but also drooled. 

"Mr. Bear gave it to me!" the little girl exclaimed again, wearing a big smile on her face. 

This time, Yuxian wiped the corner of his lips. "Wait, Mr. Bear?" he asked in astonishment.

"The new gardener, Mimi! He was Mr. Bear at the Amusement Park!" Ling Ling crossed her arms, her pupils spark like those in detective movies.

"Master, you don't need to do this" Jiang Chen gulped the saliva that was stuck in his throat. He was busy cleaning the dry leaves at the drainage when Yuxian called him to talk to him.

Yuxian, who was sitting across from him, took a sip of his hot tea. "I'm sorry, I didn't thank you formally that day" he said as he glanced at the male. "And...And can you please stop that 'Master' thingy? It's uhh..a little embarrassing" he added, blushing.

Jiang Chen saw how the omega's face turned red in an instant the moment he called him 'Master'. He thought it would be the end of the world for him, he was really planning on leaving his job as the mascot. 

Jiang Chen wanted a different job with a high salary because his income at the Amusement Park wasn't enough for him. He only endures it temporarily while he has not yet found a new opportunity. Luckily, Rui Jun asked for his contact info that day before taking Ling Ling home. 

At first, he couldn't believe that the omega who enchants him was Rui Jun's wife. He's satisfied just by seeing him for the last time but because Rui Jun called him and asked him if he wanted this job, he was so delighted. Jiang Chen immediately agreed. 

He bowed his head. "I am honored to work under you, Master," he replied, emphasizing the last word. 

Yuxian averted his gaze. "I-It's n-not me who hired you, It's my h-husband," he stammered, taking another sip. "I j-just want to give my gratitude because you saved my daughter," he said

Jiang Chen blushed. He didn't hide his face. He adores even Yuxian's little moves; Jiang Chen wanted to talk to him more, but he didn't know what to say first. His tongue is curling inside his mouth. Just by hearing and seeing Yuxian speak was making his stomach flutter. 

He cleared his throat and lowered his head. "I'm just doing w-what I should be," he replied. He glanced outside to stop himself from observing the other male too hard. He didn't want to be found out. Controlling himself and his heartbeat in the meantime is a good decision.

"I didn't know that you were the Bear from the Amusement Park. Ling Ling said that she recognized your voice." Yuxian said.

Jiang Chen chuckled. It lifted the nervousness he was feeling. "She was a smart kid!" he said, brushing his face. "That little girl kicked me in the legs after giving me some water" he couldn't stop but smiled. 

It startled Yuxian after hearing him, he scoffed and giggled, "R-Really?! That was a-adorable!" he said, groping his stomach. He smiled after imagining Ling Ling doing such a thing. 

Jiang Chen, who was smiling too, paused. He observes Yuxian's thin lips forming a big smile showing his teeth. The male felt a jolt inside his stomach; it lingered through his body like it would burst any minute. "He's indeed beautiful!" he blurted out, unconscious.

Yuxian heard it so he stopped laughing and gazed at Jiang Chen. "What?" he asked. 

The male across the table flinched from embarrassment. "N-Nothing!" he quickly answered. He lowered his head to hide his red face. "I'm sorry.. I just blabbed it out of nowhere," he mumbled.
