Transmigrated Into The Book

Yuxian roamed his eyes around and scanned the full room. It was half the size of their bedroom, in plain and light colors. The walls were painted light blue; the cabinets were white and so the ceiling. In the right corner of it was a glass door covered by thin curtains, a balcony behind it.

The omega walked inside, everything was arranged neatly from corners to the middle. Yuxian felt a little shy about using it. 

"Do you like it?" Jiangye appeared behind him. "I'm sorry if this room is quite small compared to your bedroom there," she said, stepping forward. She was carrying Yuxian's suitcase. 

"You can come inside, please don't be shy" She sat down on the bed and opened the bag first. It made the omega jolted from embarrassment, so he trudged forward. "Please let me do it," he said.

The omega sat beside the lady and started to take out his clothes from the bag. He was too shy to let Jiangye fold and arrange his clothes. The cabinet was beside the bed, so it wasn't a big deal for him. 

Jiangye noticed the male's expression, and she smiled. "You don't need to be embarrassed, I want to do everything in my power to save you and the baby" his smile turned plain. "I should be the one protecting you two, I am the doctor here…" Jiangye stood up and picked up the set of clothes beside Yuxian. She opened the cabinet and put it in.

Yuxian just nodded his head as he watched the lady. He can feel the sincerity in her voice. It made him caress his belly; he pressed his palm and felt the baby. Yuxian can now feel the baby kicking and moving inside his stomach. It was a relief for him. At least the baby is showing that he is alive and strong.

Jiangye headed to the balcony and slid the glass door open. "If you want to watch the stars at night, you can spend a little time here on the balcony," she stated, parting the thin curtains.

Yuxian blushed at the lady's offer. He didn't know what to reply. He can see that Jiangye is really doing anything for him. "Thank you," he mumbled. Turning his head on her, giving a warm smile.

Jiangye trudged towards the door. "I will cook something for both of us. Please come down after you finish," she said, exiting the room and leaving Yuxian alone.

In the middle of chanting for a happy ending, his phone rang. A call from Rui Jun. He saw the alpha with a gloomy expression when his face focused on the screen. "Honey, I miss you already," the alpha said.

Yuxian finds it adorable, "Please don't mind me, I will be fine here…" he said. 

"He's so adorable," Yuxian whispered to himself. Such a good and loving husband he had, a perfect alpha. He brushed his hair up. "This world is too perfect for me," he told himself again.

He put the phone down and leaned it on the table, then he continued what he was doing. "How's Ling Ling?" Yuxian asked. 

Rui Jun, on the other line, was also inside his office. He was finishing the paper works that were sent to him. "She's with her nanny," he answered, turning his eyes on the laptop.

The tapping sound of the keyboard made Yuxian think his husband must be very busy yet, calls him. "You still have work to do?" he asked.

Rui Jun frowned, then he glanced at his phone screen. "Don't worry, this is nothing" he took his gaze back to the monitor and clicked the mouse. "I wanted to talk to you because I miss you," he said.

Yuxian can see Rui Jun's eyes from left to right, like he was reading something. "You can finish that first before calling me," he giggled. "I am not going anywhere so please calm down."

The alpha frowned. "But I am calm," he replied.

Yuxian again smiled, stretching his lips. "No, you are not. Finish it then, call me after," he suggested. If he was just beside the male, he would pat the alpha's head.

This time, Rui Jun stopped tapping and pushed himself away from the table. Then he crossed his arms. "This is a never ending work, let's live in the mountains," he snorted.

"You can buy an entire mountain," Yuxian thought. But he just grinned secretly, "Then you still need to work hard to buy a mountain," he said.

Rui Jun shrugged and grabbed his hair. "Okay, okay ... I will work hard," he said, still with his sad face. He pushed the swivel chair towards the desk and started to type again. Yuxian stayed silent as he watched the handsome side profile of his husband. Rui Jun was very serious, like he got all the strength in the world. He was typing quickly. 

Yuxian finished arranging his clothes and stuff in the cabinet, so he took the phone from the desk. "Jiangye said that she will cook something downstairs. I will call you later," he said.

Rui Jun stopped for a while and pouted. "No, I will call you later, okay?" he said, very mellow and gentle, like his deep voice almost echoed from the screen. The omega nodded to him as an answer.

After talking and hanging the call, Yuxian heard Jiangye call him down the stairs. He fixed himself and went downstairs. There he saw different and delicious foods served on the table. The lady pulled the chair for him and made him sit down. 

"I am not an excellent cook, but you can at least try to taste it. This is all good for you and for the baby," Jiangye said with a bit of embarrassment.

Yuxian smiled at her and ate, but after chewing the food, he felt something pushing up his stomach. The omega ended up throwing it all.

It was all delicious but his stomach isn't accepting it. 

In so much panic, Jiangye gave him a glass of water and let him calm down. When she was going upstairs to get some medicine, Yuxian pulled her hand.. "I want strawberries," he said.
