Chapter 265 - World 10.3

AT YUNTENG VILLAGE…

The pathway was crowded with unfamiliar faces and voices. Xianyu, who was gripping Rouhan's sleeves very tight, tried to roam his eyes and scanned the surroundings. There are also types of merchants, yelling for their products. An old lady nagged Xianyu to buy some rice cakes, it all looked delicious.

Rouhan paused when he was pulled by the male following him behind. "Can we try the rice cakes by the old lady?" Xianyu asked. "It looks delicious!" he said with his pleading eyes. Rouhan stopped and glanced at Xianyu, then he looked at the old lady who was still reaching for some rice cakes for them.

Xianyu tightens the grip on the male's sleeves. "Look, the old lady must be exhausted from standing here all day. Look at her knees, she must be starving." His pupils dilated like a dog with its tail down.

Rouhan saw Xianyu like a cat, not a dog. He was like a crying cat waiting to be pet, and because he didn't want the male to think that he was heartless, he slipped out his bag of gold and poured some on the old lady's hands. "Give us 4 rice cakes, please," he said.

The old lady's eyes flashed like gold. She hurriedly picked up the newly baked ones and gave it to the young man. "Thank you very much." She bowed her head.

Jun Rouhan also bowed his head and pulled Xianyu towards his pace. "Stop causing me trouble. I brought you here with me to learn something, not to eat!" he scolded the male, who quickly lowered his head.

After walking and pushing themselves into the busy crowd, they finally reached the Inn. Xianyu followed the man as usual. He was still holding his sleeves. He doesn't know this place, so he's afraid of getting lost. Xianyu was still unfamiliar with the things happening around him, so it's better to stick with Jun Rouhan.

"Sit here,"

Xianyu sat down, following the man's order. Rouhan waved his hands on one of the servers and asked for wine and food. He also asked him to reserve a room for them.

"Just eat and don't mind the people," Rouhan said, pouring a cup of wine for the male. He pushed the glass towards Xianyu. "Drink this and let's wait"

Xianyu tilted his head in astonishment, "Thank you," he bowed his head. "Who are we wai…. Ow!!" A smack landed on his head before he could finish his sentence.

"I already told you, we are going to meet two more fellows to help you," Rouhan explained, pushing another bowl of rice towards the male.

***

"Where is Master Jun?"

Two men who were standing in front of Xianyu crossed their arms and greeted him with a frowned expression. The two of them pulled the seats across the table and sat down. "We came here because of him," one of them with a pretty face and delicate facial features said.

"Tch!" The one on the left with a brightly handsome appearance sneered. His brows are deep. They said his eyes carry a sort of unrestrained wildness. "Are you the weakling that our master mentioned to us?" he asked with his lips.

Xianyu felt the shivers run down his spine. The aura of these two is uncomfortable for him. He gulped the saliva inside his throat. "Uhh…" he glanced at the two "S-Sir R-Rouhan, He went to the bathroom." He chuckled nervously.

The two both released a 'humped' sound, then turned their gazes opposite of their direction. "I will wait," they said in unison.

Xianyu tried to lift up the heavy atmosphere, "Uhh.. M-May I know your names?" he asked meekly.

"Sun Wei!"

"Qin Zhou!"

Xianyu looked at them, exchanging his glances. "Can you please say it one by one?" The sweats are now forming on his forehead. He wanted to calm the two, but it seems like the tension is getting more tight.

The one with the pretty face but unfriendly glares cleared his throat. "I'm Sun Wei," he said.

"Qin Zhou," followed by the handsome man.

Sun Wei glared at Qin Zhou. "Next time, if you introduce yourself, don't go with me!" he exclaimed, clenching his fist.

The nerves in Qin Zhou's temples cracked. "Excuse me! You are the one who suddenly blurted your name along with me!!" he snarled back.

It made Sun Wei more agitated; he grouped his fist into a ball. "You want to fight? Huh?!" he said, swaying his fist towards the other man, but Qin Zhou quickly dodged it. He smirked, "Weak,"

Xianyu saw what the two were doing, and he couldn't stop from panicking. It was the first time for him to meet them and this is what he witnessed. "G-Guys? Please calm d-down.." he tried to stop them.

Instead of cooperating, the two men in front both pierced Xianyu with their glaring eyes. "W-What?!!!!" they yelled.

"Ekk!!!" Xianyu sprang up. "Please calm down, fighting won't take you to anything," he suggested.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew towards them.

"Master!!!!"

The two dogs -like and cat -like earlier had become calm. Sun Wei and Qin Zhou bowed their heads when they saw the familiar face standing in front of them.

Rouhan tapped the table, ordering them to sit down, which they quickly followed. He waved again to the server and ordered another set of wine and food. Then he turned his gaze to the two fellows. "It's been so long," he said. "Sorry for bothering you two so suddenly"

The two bowed their heads. "It's my honor to be summoned by you, Master Jun!" both replied with respect.

Rouhan didn't change his expression. His lips remained straight. "I have called you two to teach this newbie the ways to cultivate his Qi energy," he was referring to Xianyu, who lowered his head as a response. "It's my honor, please take me under your care," he mumbled.

The two looked at each other, then their faces turned into a confused look. "Cultivate?" Sun Wei asked.

"He's famous and a great healer, ehh? What happened to him?" Qin Zhou second the motion.
