Chapter 266 - World 10.4

"I can't do this anymore!" Xianyu, who was sweating and gasping for air, wiped the sides of his cheeks. Rouhan told him that he is going to cultivate with these two fellows, then why is he chopping some woods?

Sun Wei stopped tying the group of newly chopped woods and glared at Xianyu. "If you want to gain something, you need to suffer," he said, still with his grumpy expression. He stood up and lifted the woods on his shoulders.

Jun Rouhan bought a shack for a small amount of gold, not big enough and not small enough - just right for them to take shelter. The place is not that good, so they are repairing it. The windows are still broken and the doors are in half; the floors are creaky; it is as if it will fall when trampled heavily.

When Sun Wei reached the entrance of their newly bought shack, Xianyu heard Qin Zhou scolding Sun Wei. "Why are you so slow? I told you to bring me 5 more pieces of wood!" And because he was just chopping not far away from them, Xianyu again heard the two arguing. He stood up and stretched his arms in the air. "These two are more pain in the ass than me," he mumbled.

He lifted his head and watched the clouds from the sky. Rouhan and he started traveling in the morning and now the sun was about to set. "Time flies quickly," he mumbled. He glanced at the two not far away from him, still arguing.

This time, Xianyu decided to step between the two. "Guys?" he asked.

Sun Wei and Qin Zhou looked at him with both twitching eyebrows, "What?!" The expression on their faces made Xianyu jolted away. He chuckled nervously, "I-It's g-getting late a-already…" he scratched the back of his head. "Can we a-at least rest?"

Sun Wei, gripping Qin Zhou's palm, trying to stop his attack, yanked away. He stood up straight and cleared his throat. "Let's rest for a while." he turned around. "You guys cooked, I want to take a rest," that's the last words the two male heard after Sun Wei trudged inside the shack.

Silence fell between Qi Zhou and Xianyu. Both looked at each other and averted their gazes. They did it for a couple of minutes until Qi Zhou talked. "You cook." he released a 'humped' sound. "I already finished fixing the door, my hands are sore." He also turned around and went inside.

The truth is, chopping and cutting down trees aren't a big deal for Sun Wei and Qi Zhou. They can do it for an entire month without even getting tired. But since these two don't like the company of each other, they're acting according to their pride.

Xianyu sighed a long sigh. "I'm dead," he whispered, lowering his head and shrugging his shoulders.

Jun Rouhan wasn't with them. He stayed at the Muong Mountain, the place Xianyu woke up. He said that Xianyu needed some time to blend with the two more. But before leaving him, Rouhan gave him a necklace. It was a training necklace. It is said that it helps to control his healing energy. Since Xianyu is still wandering around this world and doesn't know how to fully equip his Qi, the necklace can help him.

Xianyu is not really a healer, but because Rouhan said that he grew up with a royal healer, he also learned those things. Well, it was the real Lan Xianyu, and he was Chen Yang.

Who knows what he can do?

Thinking so much, Xianyu sat beside the door. He pulled out the necklace under his clothing and stared at it. The gem of it glowed a blue light after touching his palm. "This is so familiar," he said.

Suddenly, small drops of water tapped his skin. He raised his head and gazed at the sky that was bright and blue earlier and is now dark and gray. He stood up and shook his feet before entering the house and joining the two.

When he stepped in, he pulled the newly made door closed tight. The rain is getting heavier, so he also took the initiative to close the windows. Xianyu roamed around. There he saw the two sitting on the long chair across from the wooden table.

The two seemed busy doing something. Xianyu tiptoes gently towards them, trying to hide his presence. When he got the opportunity to peep, he lowered his head and glanced at the object on the table.

Xianyu's eyes started to widen, then squinted. He saw a paper under Sun Wei's hands. The male was busy writing- no; he wasn't writing; he was drawing something. The object drawn on the piece of paper was a boy with gigantic eyes and ugly nose, long messy hair and small height like it was forcefully fit on the page.

"Ha Ha Ha…" Qi Zhou laughed. "Your painting is hilarious, like sh*t," he blabbed out, slamming his palm on the table. For the first time, Xianyu saw the two on good terms, but he wasn't expecting it in this way.

"Excuse me?"

A voice behind Sun Wei and Qi Zhou echoed as both of their heads turned. They saw Xianyu standing there with his crossed arms. His eyes started to fire up the moment he realized who the person in the painting was. "Are you trying to draw me?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.

Sun Wei raised his fingers, holding the paintbrush. He tilted it closer to Xianyu's face. "Your chin is small, I should redo it," but when he was about to paint again, Xianyu grabbed the paper and ripped it to pieces with his raging heart.

He could not accept that he was ugly in the painting. "Am I this ugly to your eyes?!" he exclaimed with heavy breaths.

Qi Zhou stood up. "Let him be, Sun Wei has a poor talent in arts…" he snorted. "He was trying to make a banner for you to let this town know that a healer from a faraway mountain had arrived, but it seems like all he can draw is himself," he stated.

Hearing the male, the nerves on Sun Wei's forehead cracked. He remembered the ugly figure he drew. Surely, Qi Zhou was describing his appearance like that. "What did you just say?!" he grunted, rolling his eyes at Qi Zhou.

His death glares did not even provoke the man. Instead he chuckled ironically. "Why are you so angry? I am just stating the facts here," Qi Zhou smirked.

It made Sun Wei more agitated, but when he was about to raise his arm to invite Qi Zhou to fight, a loud 'THUD' rang behind the door.

The three looked at each other. "Who's that?" they all asked in unison.
