Transmigrated Into The Book

"You are so amazing," Yuan complimented Xianyu who was busy gazing at the moon above them.

Xianyu scratched the back of his head and chuckled. "I told you, it's not me" he said. "I just want to scare them off when the ground suddenly opens up," he added. It's true, he was really planning to just shove them away. Xianyu didn't want to hurt anyone and besides, he will never show such strength in front of Yuan. He was still observing him.

Yuan grinned and put his arms under his head, he leaned comfortably on the soft hays. "Well, I don't care if you are still hiding your powers from me...but doing it to protect people is amazing" he said. 

It made Xianyu gazed at him for a couple of minutes. "Where are you going to sleep?" He asked after.

"Hmm?" Yuan looked at him then he frowned. "I don't know, I will just lay anywhere comfortable" He replied.

Xianyu took his gaze away and rubbed the back of his head. "Should I let him accompany me while Sun Wei and Qi Zhou are away?" He thought to himself. He didn't know what to do with Yuan. He didn't want to push the male away and besides he paid a bag of gold coins for their ride. 

"Do you want to sleep in the Inn?" Yuan took another bag of gold from his pockets. "I still got some coins," he smirked.

Xianyu flinched after seeing that bag of gold. "Why is this guy so rich?" He mumbled to himself. He wanted to admit that he doesn't want to sleep in the streets tonight. "You can go if you want," he just replied.

This time, Yuan pushed himself from leaning on the hays, then he gazed at Xianyu with confusing eyes. "How about you?" He asked.

The other male averted his gaze. "Uhh..I'm fine.." he immediately answered.

"What am I even doing here?" Xianyu shrugged down the moment they entered the room. He roamed his eyes around, there was a table in the middle and a window. In the corner near the cabinet was only one bed.

Yuan stepped forward as he left Xianyu still standing at the doorway. He dashed towards the soft cushion bed and slumped himself.

Xianyu just looked at him before chuckling. "Is this really okay?" He closed the door and walked towards the wooden table in the middle of the room.

The two ended up getting a room from the Inns but the bad news was, there was only one room left and they needed to share the bed. Yuan was so persistent in dragging him all the way. It made Xianyu brush his face, "Who really are you?" He mumbled to himself. 

In the middle of his deep thoughts, he didn't even realize that Yuan was now in front of his face. Cupping his own cheeks while gazing at Xianyu. "Do you want to sleep with me?" 

Because his face was very close, Xianyu jolted away after looking at him. "Too close!" He exclaimed. 

Yuan couldn't stop from giggling after seeing his reaction. He paused before walking closer to Xianyu again. "Why are you so sensitive?" He asked, pushing the male onto the thin walls of the room. 

"Ngh!" Xianyu groaned when his back hit the wall. "What are you doing?" He asked Yuan who was pinning him with a grin.

Yuan leaned closer and lifted his hands then he caressed the male's cheeks. "Your face turns red immediately," he touched his ears. "Even your ears'' 

Xianyu gathered his strength to push the male away. "Stop teasing me!" He snorted as he quickly walked towards the window, away from Yuan. 

Yuan was left there, he leaned on the wall then he laughed out. He wrapped his arms around his stomach then he wiped the tears of happiness from his eyes. "You are so cute" he said. 

Xianyu gave him a cold stare then he released a humped sound. "I came with you because you offered me a nice place to sleep, I am not here to play games with you!" He snorted.

He took off his upper robe then he lay down on the right side of the bed. He pulled the blanket up to his chest. "I'm going to rest now," he said.

Yuan saw how the male was very pissed from his actions. He decided to stop and jump on the other side of the bed. He glanced at Xianyu then to the ceiling then to the male again.

After a couple of silence…

"Are you already sleeping?" He asked. The male on the other side of the bed didn't reply. "Do you want to hear a bedtime story?" He asked.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the bed. Xianyu was still awake, he just didn't want to reply because he was afraid to be teased again. 

Yuan did his favorite position, his arms under his head. "I have this story I heard somewhere," he mumbled, still eyes on the ceiling. "Do you want to hear it?" He asked but silence just hit him.

He stumped his legs on the soft edge of the bed. He was waiting for a reply but it seems like Xianyu really got pissed from his teasing. It is very clear that the male was ignoring him on purpose. Yuan lifted up his upper body then he leaned closer to the other male. "Are you really sleeping?" He asked, pursing his lips out. He looked down and poked Xianyu's nose. 

He wanted to check but in his surprise, his gaze went down to the male's chest. His robe was crumpled and showing a little skin from his chest. Yuan gulped then he slowly turned his head away, back to his position a while ago. "I guess I should just sleep," he mumbled. He flicked his fingers then a swift air blew the candles away, turning their surroundings into darkness.

Xianyu held his breath in silence as he gently turned to Yuan. He saw the male with closed eyes; he was indeed sleeping. "Stop teasing me, will you?" He mumbled secretly.

THE NEXT MORNING…

Xianyu woke up alone, he was sleeping very peacefully when a loud thud bang his ears. It made him sprang up, as he rubbed his eyes, he realized that Yuan wasn't there anymore. 

He opened the window beside the bed and realized that it was almost noon. He stood up from the bed and trudged towards the mini living room.

The Inn they're into has a thin wall separating the bedroom and the mini living room so you can see the shadows outside the bedroom.

"Ehh?!" Xianyu's eyes widened when he saw not only one but three shadows. "What is happening?" He mumbled to himself. He tiptoed towards the end of the thin wall and tried to listen.

"Should I bury him alive?" 

"Your suggestions are all sh*t"

"What?! You are the shittyhead here!" 

The familiar voices slowly bang Xianyu's ears. He was so sure that it was them, he stepped out brushing his face. "Can you please lower your voices?!" He snorted.

The two people arguing with each other looked at him. "Where have you been?!" Both asked in unison.

Xianyu slammed his palm on the wall. "Huh?! Where have you been my foot! You two abandoned me on the streets!" He complained, remembering the scenes before the guards threw him onto the dungeon.

Sun Wei stepped forward and rolled his eyes. "It's Qi Zhou's plan! Not mine," he said.

Xianyu glared at Qi Zhou who was now rubbing the back of his head. "Is that true?!" He asked. 

Qi Zhou cleared his throat. "I did it for the plan," he answered. "But Sun Wei also agreed to it," he added.

The nerves on Sun Wei's forehead finally cracked. "Y-You!!" He made a ball of his fist and charged towards Qi Zhou but the other male was quick to dodge it.

"EXCUSE ME?!!" 

Xianyu, Sun Wei and Qi Zhou glanced at the man crouching on the floor. "Can you please let me go first?" Yuan asked.

Xianyu's face turned to disappointment after seeing the male tied up with his hands behind. "What the heck are you doing?" He uttered.

Yuan sighed, "They thought that I kidnapped you and brought you here alone" he complained, his eyes were almost pleading like a child. "I am innocent, I will never do that" he said.

"This guy over here helped me a lot" Xianyu crouched down with him and started to untie his hands. "I apologize for these two dorks"

Both Qi Zhou and Sun Wei got snapped by that. "Who are you calling dorks?" They snorted in unison.

Yuan ignored them, he faced Xianyu "Is this your friend? You should be careful with them, I don't like them" he secretly gazed at Sun Wei and made a 'bleh'

And because Sun Wei is now pissed, he stepped between the two and pulled Yuan by his collar. "What kind of power did you use to make Xianyu believe you?!" He exclaimed, interrogating the male.

Yuan just smirked at him, "What are you talking about?" He made a grin. "I don't have the ability to do such a thing," he replied.

Qi Zhou isn't siding with Yuan but he loves to see Sun Wei getting pissed off. He also stepped forward and whispered something to Yuan. "Don't be scared of him, he gets pissed so easily."

This time Sun Wei pulled his collar "What did you just say?!" 

Xianyu who was standing quietly on the corner twitched his brows and gritted his teeth. "You guys shut up!" He yelled.
