"Where did he go?" Sun Wei frowned and clicked his tongue after realizing that they just lost Yuan. "I told you to watch him," he glared at the man standing behind him.

"He must be inside the royal palace right now. Maybe a maiden really mistook him as a new court lady," Qi Zhou replied, but you can see that he was smirking. Sun Wei hit him using his elbow, "What are you laughing about, idiot?!" he rolled his eyes.

"Don't you like it? The eyepatch man was one of the royals, according to his alibi. We have a big chance to capture him and take Xianyu back if he was really a royal...besides, I trust Yuan," he stated confidently, like he had cards in his hands.

As he finishes his sentence, a man wearing fine clothes that look like a noble approached them. "I've been staring at you both for the meantime. It seems like you are new to this place," he said in a well-mannered voice, like he was welcoming a guest. "Do you need any assistance?" He asked. 

Sun Wei scanned the man from head to toe, "We are looking for an Inn, do you know any?" he asked, still showing his hard aura. 

The man smirked after hearing an answer. He grabbed Sun Wei's arms and grinned. "We have high quality Inns here. I'm sure that it will suit your taste," he said as he pulled the man. "And also, you have a very pretty face," he complimented, which delivered goosebumps to the man he was holding. 

Sun Wei tried to yank away, but the man tightened his grip more. He didn't want to gain any attention from the crowd because they might get caught. "E-Excuse me," he said 

When the man was about to reply back, a forceful grasp pulled Sun Wei away from him. He looked up and saw a handsome man with sharp eyes glaring at him. "We don't need any assistance. Thank you for lending a hand," Qi Zhou said sternly.

Sun Wei, who was now leaning on Qi Zhou's chest, stayed silent. It stunned him, suddenly pulling him back and burying him on his chest. This is not so Qi Zhou.

Meanwhile, the man who was insisting on helping them a while ago quickly vanished from their eyes. He dashed right away when he saw Qi Zhou's killing intent aura. 

This time, Sun Wei pushed himself away from the male still holding him. "Get away from me!" he rolled his eyes. "What are you doing?!" he snorted like he was disgusted by their sudden skinship. 

Qi Zhou snorted. "You should be careful. That man reeks of alcohol." he crossed his arms. "He must have taken a liking to your pretty face just now," he said. 

Sun Wei, for the first time, oozed in redness. "W-What?!!" he exclaimed, but it was just a few seconds when he realized that he should be proud of himself. "Humph! Are you jealous because I am more handsome than you?" he asked sarcastically. 

Qi Zhou shot a glance at him then he pulled the male by the wrist, "I don't care if you're handsome than me, just don't let yourself stay away from me," he dragged Sun Wei onto the crowds "Let's go and build the second plan,"

The next morning when Xianyu woke up, they already served various and delicious foods in front of him. 

"Good morning, master," a familiar sweet voice greeted him. When Xianyu spun his head towards the owner of the voice, he couldn't stop, but flinched and looked away.

The maid chuckled, "Master, please don't be wary of me. I would like to apologize last time," she said, bowing her head. 

How could Xianyu not be nervous? That's the maid he ran away from. He couldn't help but back away when the lady bowed at him wholeheartedly. It makes him more guilty. "Please don't do that!" he exclaimed. "I-I-I s-should be the one a-apologizing t-to you," he added.

The lady lifted her head and smiled, "No, master is just scared that time," she pushed the tray of food towards Xianyu, "Please eat your breakfast, master...the prince told me to let you eat when you wake up," 

Xianyu glanced at her, then down at the food. It smelled delicious to his nose. "T-Thanks," he mumbled as he also bowed his head.

The lady stood up and approached the window near his bed. "The morning sun was warm today, master." She rolled the thin curtains and tied it up. "Would you like to stroll around the garden after eating, master?" she asked the male, who was now busy eating.

Since his mouth was full, Xianyu just nodded back as an answer. He didn't know, but it made the lady giddy all of a sudden. 'Why is she so happy about it? Did she have a thing for me?' he thought.

He took another spoonful of food and delivered it inside his mouth, that's when his eyes accidentally hit the view from the open window. Xianyu saw some ladies lined up properly with fans covering half of their faces. "What was that?" he gulped and asked.

The lady who was also standing beside his bed grinned. "They are the new court ladies, master," she answered.

Xianyu just nodded his head, then gazed at the ladies down there once more. In his surprise, one of them lifted her head towards him. Their eyes met in a split second, then the lady continued to walk and filled herself in the line.

That gaze made Xianyu stunned for a minute. It was only a mere second, but why does he feel something was odd. That lady was taller than the other girls in line and she had her other eye covered by her hair. 'It feels like de javu,' he thought.

Then the spoon he was holding clanked on the floor, which made the maid look at him. "What's wrong, master?" She asked in surprise. 

Xianyu sprang up and leaned on the windowpane. He put his palm above his eyes to block the rays of morning sunlight. He was trying to reach the new court ladies' distance. Because that woman who met his eyes was familiar.

"She looks so familiar!" he exclaimed.
