"Did you find someone?"

"No, I don't, how about you?"

"Me neither,"

"Let's go to the other side,"

Finally, the murmuring noises from the palace guards vanish, dragging their footsteps away from their hiding area. The two bodies that were still squeezing themselves between the thick bushes felt relieved.

Xianyu, who was still glued to the man behind him, sighed. He felt the warm palm covering his lips and realized that he was not alone. He uses his elbow to make a forceful smack onto the man's stomach.

It worked, which made the man release him. Xianyu yanks away and gazes at him. "Who are you?" he questioned.

The man grunts with his lowered head. "You got me there," he mumbled.

Xianyu frowned. "Are you mocking me? Who are you and why did you save me?" He scanned him from head to toe. "You're not even a lady!" he blurted out.

A light chuckle escaped the other man's lips, "Can you be at least a little gentle?" he also asked, then he lifts his head, "Xianyu, you are so bold," 

Startled,Xianyu covers his mouth and widens his eyes. "Y-Yuan?!" he exclaimed under his breath. He crawled back to the male, but then a sting from his ankle and bleeding knees jolted towards his system. It made him curled down instead, which made Yuan the one to move closer to him.

"You're bleeding. Can you heal yourself?" Yuan leaned the male's head onto his shoulders and helped him straighten his legs carefully. 

Xianyu paused, "Can I heal myself?" even though unsure, he lifted his palm and placed it above his ankle. He channeled all the energy he was feeling inside his body until a green light glowed and circled around his hands. He let it touch and absorb by his ankle. Slowly, the red marks and bruises on the affected area slowly vanished.

"It worked!" Xianyu tried to move his legs freely, because not only did his ankle heal, his knee and elbow wounds also disappeared. He also felt lively again. 

He was on the verge of happiness, not until he remembered that Yuan was on his side right now. He recalled everything about the male. The questions stuck inside his mind slowly popped itself like a stockpile of bubbles above his head. 

Xianyu sprang up, pointing his index finger at Yuan. "Y-You're Bai Y-Yuan, right?!" He exclaimed with his bawling eyes from realization. But then his eyes slowly narrowed after a minute, though it was a little bit distracting because Yuan was still wearing a woman's dress. "What's with that dress, though?!" he exclaimed for the third time.

Yuan also froze. He was also dumbfounded after hearing the male's question. 'How did he know all of this?' he thought. But the second question made him flinch from embarrassment. He looked down and scanned his body. His eyes saw a pink hanfu with a flowery design and a white shoes. He was very feminine.

Yuan brushed his face. "Is not supposedly like this," he grunted. 

Then, after a minute…

"What are you doing here?!" both exclaimed in unison as their eyes met.

As they quickly averted their gazes from each other, the atmosphere once again turned silent. The rustling leaves above the shady tree shake the birds, perching on its branches. They flapped their wings out and flew away. The noon sun slowly peered from the swaying clouds. 

"I came here to save you…" 

Xianyu was surprised. His head spun back to the man still sitting on the grass. "Where are Sun Wei and Qi Zhou?" he asked. "Geez! Saving me without even thinking!" He scolded the male. 

Yuan half smiled, finding out that the male is concerned about him. He stood up and brushed his butt from the leaves. Yuan grabbed the male's arms. "What are you doing here? Did they do something bad to you?," he spun him around and examined his being. "Did you have a bad time while you were here?" he asked.

Xianyu pulled his arms back. "I'm fine," he replied. "Don't touch me!" he snorted.

Yuan made a puzzled face. "Ehhh?"

"Why did you hide everything from me?" Xianyu is still frowning. He wasn't angry, he was just a little bit irritated because Yuan didn't mention anything to him. If Yuan knew something about his memory, then why was he hiding it from him? 

Though it was bad that Xianyu heard the truth from another person.

Yuan lowered his head, "I didn't mean to hide it forever," he mumbles, softly. "I was just scared,"

"Scared of what?! I told you everything about me and yet…" Xianyu bit his lower lip. "And yet you---," Before he could continue, Yuan embraced him.

Yuan squeezed him and pulled him onto his chest. "It's because I'm scared of losing you again!" he reasoned. The wind was chilly even though it was noon, but instead of feeling it, Xianyu felt the warmth from Yuan's embrace. 

"Yuan?" He mumbled. "What do you mean?"

In the Royal Garden…

Two guards entered and halted on the pathway. When they reach the middle of the area, they knelt down. "We are here, your highness," they greeted.

The man who was having his precious time, sitting across the table, waves his fingers to the servant near his seat. The servant bowed her head and poured him a cup of tea. 

The man, who seems to be a royal, leveled his cup halfway from his lips as he smelled the fragrance of the tea. "State your words." he ordered. 

One of the two men kneeling on the floor nodded his head. "Your highness, there is an impostor among the newly appointed court ladies," he reported.

It made the other man smirked, "And what is amusing about this impostor?" he asked, slowly sipping his tea. "Is he with the prisoner?" he asked. 

The guard again bowed his head. "We still lack information about that, your highness," he replied. "Please forgive us," he pleaded.

A light chuckle escaped from the man's lips. "It's okay, find them and bring them in front of me...unharmed," he ordered.

"Yes, your highness," The guards took their leave and exited the room.
