"Cousin brother!!!!"

Yi Lin's eyes filled with delight after seeing Yuan. He sprang up and was about to hug the male when he got pushed away. It made him a little bit sad, "Too cruel!" he exclaimed. 

Sun Wei, who was standing beside Qi Zhou leaned closer and whispered. "Is this really the crowned prince? What is he even doing here in the dungeon?" 

Yi Lin was sharp enough to see through Sun Wei's thoughts. He stepped and poked the male's chest. "Are you doubting me, handsome man?" he asked which made Sun Wei flinched.

Before the other male could cuss out unnecessary words, Qi Zhou covered his mouth and smiled at Yi Lin. "I apologize on his behalf, your highness." He slightly nagged Sun Wei to stay still.

Yi Lin giggled and looked back at Yuan, "So, what are you doing he---" he paused and circled around the three, there behind Qi Zhou, he saw a youth with black round eyes and thin plum lips. "Who is this guy?" he asked. 

Yuan turned to him, "He's Feng,"

Yi Lin bent down to Feng and reached his hand. "Hi! I'm brother Yi Lin." he smiled, making his appearance more bright.

Feng looked at him then to his hands then to him again. He was contemplating whether he would give him a shake on the hand or not. But before that, he chose to bow down. "Your highness, it's my honor to see you," 

Yi Lin tilted his head sideways, surprised. "You don't need to address me like that, as you can see I am not a prince right now, I'm a prisoner.." he giggled before scanning Feng. 

A smack landed on Yuan's head, but before he could ever complain. Yi Lin butt in, "How dare you treat a child like this?! I'm so disappointed in you cousin brother," he called Li Jing, who was still with them, standing in the corner.

"Y-Yes, your highness?" She stepped forward and bowed her head. 

"Give this child a proper bath, the most fragrant one, then give him new set of clothes..give him food,"

The lady quickly held Feng's hand. She smiled at him and whispered. "Come with me," 

Before they could exit the door, Yi Lin yelled. "Give him everything he needs and wants, mkay?" 

When the servant and Feng were gone, things turned serious. Yuan cleared his throat, "First of all," he spoke. "What are you doing here?"

That question struck Yi Lin straight, he cracked like a stone. "That's because of you!! I was detained here to repent," he snorted.

Sun Wei again got irritated. "Is he really repenting?" he mumbled beside Qi Zhou who quickly gave him a smack on the head. "He's the crowned prince, respect"

Yi Lin pouted his lips and sat on his wooden bed. "I'm busy sleeping right now, you are disturbing me very much…" he turned his head. "You should be with your lov--" finally, his eyes widened.

Yi Lin sprang up again like a spring and circled around them. "Wait a goddamn minute!!!" he exclaimed. "Where's my Xianyu?!" he blinked and rubbed his eyes a few times. 

"That's the reason why we needed your help," Yuan said.

The bright and giddy expression on Yi Lin's face turned blank. With his joyful eyes a while ago, his gazes grew cold. It almost gave Sun Wei a shiver and was taking back his words for mocking the prince earlier. 

"Who took him?" 

Qi Zhou stepped forward, "Your highness, We are still investigating it but the one who's involved here was the royal minister's daughter, Lady Daiyu," he replied.

Yi Lin pondered, "The royal minister's daughter?" he cupped his own chin and said, "That's impossible, the royal minister's daughter are sick," 

Hearing this, the three men looked at each other with both confused faces. Lady Daiyu fetched them and welcomed them in her manor so it's impossible. She even told them that she was fine after undergoing some therapy. 

"But she told us that she had already finished taking his therapy under her father's command" Qi Zhou couldn't help but ask. 

"That's also impossible," 

Yuan got more confused. "What do you mean impossible?" 

"You guys are so dumb, they tricked you all..The royal minister's daughter are taking her therapy in the other Village, away from here…" Yi Lin clicked his tongue in disappointment.

It all left the three in daze and astonishment. So both Lady Daiyu's friend and the jiangyins and the red pill story are all fake? It was all a made up story. Did Xianyu figure it out? 

"Your highness, may I ask you something?" Qi Zhou pondered. "Is your medicinal hall always open?" 

Yi Lin twitched his brows, "No it's not, even the servants are not allowed in that direction, why do you ask?" 

Qi Zhou became more confused. "Because that Lady Daiyu knew about the red pill," after spitting the 'red pill', he froze. He shouldn't be saying this information but it slipped casually from his mouth. 

"WHAT RED PILL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Yi Lin's voice became stern as he gazed at Yuan.

Silence fell into them.

"Cousin brother! What is this thing I've heard!?" Yi Lin couldn't stop but push Yuan as he grabbed his chest.

Both Sun Wei and Qi Zhou were stunned by the sudden change of events. They remained on their stance.

Yi Lin hated hearing it, he was trying all his best to bury the past and what happened. He wanted to protect his cousin brother. He pulled Yuan by the collar, which made the male stay still.

Yuan let him do what he wanted, "Cousin brother!" Yi Lin yelled. "What is this red pill? Are you trying to kill him again?! Do you want your greed to take over you once more?!" 

A punch landed on his face, almost deafening him. Yuan didn't answer, he was thrown into the corner of the cell. Yi Lin might be this childish but he was strong.

After standing up and wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. Yi Lin blocked him, "Have you gone crazy for taking him back!!?" he yelled before cracking his voice. "Yuan! The past will remain in the past!"
