Chapter 350 - World 11.7

"Mr. Chen, Can you make me a coffee?"

Yang tilted his head, 'Ehh?' he muttered in his thoughts.'Did I hear it right? He wants me to make him a coffee?' he asked again.

"Mr. Chen, don't make me repeat myself," Guang Jin uttered. He pointed his index finger to the right corner of the office, "Go straight to the kitchen and make a coffee for me," he ordered.

Dumfounded, Yang bowed his head and followed him. He approached the mini kitchen there. White walls and light brown poles in every corner. There are also thin walls between the mini living room from it. This is not an ordinary office, this is like a condominium.

He went straight to the small kitchen counter. He opened the cabinet above his head and found a coffee. He used the scissor to cut the edge of the coffee pack then he put it in the brewing machine, Yang already knew that it was not an ordinary coffee.

He's expecting it though. The CEO was rich, he would never drink cheap coffee.

He waited for almost a minute before turning off the machine. He didn't pour the coffee immediately. He let it set aside in the glass brewer before fully putting it on the mug. Yang was a bit uneasy since he had this possibility inside his thoughts that the CEO might get angry because of waiting.

'But the coffee needed to be sifted like this,' He mumbled to himself. The coffee he's holding right now and sifting was big beans. Anyone needed to sift it carefully to not mix the other flavor from the bean skin. Also you need to put sugar first in the mug before pouring the coffee. That's how it worked.

After doing the last part, Yang finally lifted up the mug, put a spoon and used a tray.

When he got back from the kitchen, Guang Jin was already sitting on his swivel chair with an opened laptop in front of his desk.

"You're going to drink coffee, sir?" Tien Xu was surprised to see Yang carrying the tray of his manager's coffee. He was also there, maybe to deliver the said documents from the meeting room earlier.

Guang Jin smiled, leaned his elbows on the desk and put his fingers under his chin. "What's wrong with having a coffee in the afternoon?" he asked.

"N-Nothing, sir, I was just surprised," Tien Xue said but smiled secretly. He did everything for this new employee, but if he failed on making that legendary coffee, then it's not his fault anymore. He didn't even expect Guang Jin to do that.

"Pardon my intrusion, this is your coffee, sir," Yang gently put down the tray on the table and bowed his head. He stepped back and stood next to Tien Xu.

The thin smoke from the coffee rose in the air towards Guang Jin's nostrils. The aroma of the coffee made his eyes go down. He pulled the tray closer to him and lifted the handle of the mug. He closed his eyes and smelled the coffee.

He was amazed.

The coffee was smooth and glossy. The thin smoke coming from it is very fragrant. He admits that even him, didn't get it the very first time of try, but Yang just did it once and he got the perfect blend. He almost wasted a lot of coffee just to get the perfect blend.

Guang Jin didn't wait. He delivered the lid to his lips and took a sip. He stopped, speechless. The right amount of sweetness and bitterness are mixing so gracefully inside his mouth.

"How did you make it?"

It surprised Yang. "W-What do you m-mean, sir?" he stammered, blinking his eyes.

Guang Jin took another sip and asked again. "How did you perfectly make this coffee? It's beyond what I imagine,"

Tien Xu almost got choked by his own saliva. Li Guang Jin, the cold and arrogant CEO of their company is complimenting someone who perfectly got the best mixture of his coffee. The CEO was straightforward, if he didn't like anything or anyone, he would tell it right away.

It left his secretary's mouth half opened.

Yang lowered his head. "I just knew it naturally, because I like coffee," he answered, fidgeting with his fingers.

"Tien Xu," The male jolted from his stance after hearing his name. "Y-Yes, Sir?!"

"Get me the contract right now,"Guang Jin slipped out his favorite pen from his coat.

"Yes, sir!! Right away!" Tien Xu halted to the small desk and then rummaged something from it's drawers. He approached Guang Jin's main desk with a white folder in his arms. "Here it is, sir!" he said.

"Mr. Chen, come here," Guang Jin opened the folder and scanned the papers while Yang took the seat in front of his desk. He pushed the contract towards Yang, "This is our contract, read it carefully and work under me," he offered.

It startled Yang, he wasn't expecting that it would become this easy. "Are you...really? For real??" he couldn't help but ask.

Guang Jin smirked and gestured to Tien Xu to leave them two alone. His secretary quickly followed his orders. When it was only the two of them, Guang Jin also shot a glance at Yang. "Do I look like I'm playing a prank, Mr. Chen?" he asked.

Yang bowed his head, he grabbed the folder and read the pages one by one. The salary and the conditions are very good and okay for him. The benefits and perks are also very out of his league. "S-Sir, this is too much," Yang contemplated after seeing how big his salary was.

"Why?" Guang Jin grinned. "You don't like it?"

Yang shakes his head. "It's not like that, I'm talking about this one over here," he laid the document down and let the CEO read the last line. 'The party B will follow any order from Party A according to the term, SPECIAL ORDER'

"What is this special order, Mr. CEO?"
