Transmigrated Into The Book

Chapter 351 - World 11.8

"Yang?"

"Yang?"

"Yang, let's grab lunch"

The male who had his eyes still fixed in the monitor tilted his head up. "Go on without me guys, I still need to finish this and submit right away" he blabbed out. Sluggish and a little bit worn out.

"Are you sure?" One of his co-workers asked. "Do you want us to bring you coffee instead?"

Yang shakes his head, "No, No, no, I'm fine," he replied, typing another set of reports. All of them left and he was now alone in his small cubicles. He yawned and slumped his head beside the keyboard. "I can't take this anymore, I feel dizzy just by staring at the letters on the screen," he mumbled under his heavy breaths.

Yang was now working under the company for almost a week. He learned everything so quickly and easily. He was in the editor's team where he reviewed all the chapters from the newly submitted novel and scanned if something was missing or lacking. Of course, one book doesn't only contain 5 or 10 chapters.

Their company was a very busy publishing corp. So they are receiving more than 100 novels a day, hardcopy and softcopy. Well, the novels in actual books are easier to inspect than those in the web.

Yang lifted his head and blinked his eyes a few times, "Where am I?" He murmured while checking the paragraph of the new chapter he was checking. Of course while checking, he got the opportunity to read some other stories. There are times when he will never stop until he doesn't finish that one book. He loved its story so much.

"This is a bit complicated," Yang mumbled to himself after reading another set of chapters from the newly submitted novel which came yesterday. "The lady was transmigrated to the world where there are two boys loving each other, isn't it a little bit weird? Yang squinted his eyes and read the title. "TRANSMIGRATED INTO THE BL WORLD(HOMEWRECKER FUJOSHI)"

It was a novel where a dying rotten fujoshi girl who loves to ship boys to one another got transmigrated into the BL world as a homewrecker. "Isn't it a little odd? I mean, how would you cope with that? You're going to ruin their relationship," Yang put his elbow on the desk and stared at the monitor for the meantime. "I will never do that if I am in her place," he released a long sigh.

After minutes of typing the keyboard and collecting the records and volumes of the books. Yang stood up and went straight to the xerox machine. He needed 12 copies of every page of his report then he would submit it to the CEO's office.

He pushed the green button and then the machine started to operate. While waiting, he checked his wrist watch. "I would like to sip a hot coffee right now," he mumbled to himself.

After blinking his eyes, a warm coffee was reached in front of him. "You want a coffee?". Yang unconsciously grabbed the coffee and took a sip. When the adrenaline from the coffee hitted his nervous system.

"M-Manager Jiang?!!" Yang bawled his eyes out and he almost crumpled the coffee in his right hand.

"Why are you so surprised, Yang? Are you tired? I can send you ho---"

Yang immediately butt in, "No, No, no! Please don't! I'm fine, manager!! You don't need to care about me that much," He waved his hands in the air while showing his full face.

In the office full of fear and arrogance, there's this Lou Ren Jiang, their team manager. Unlike Guang Jin, he was kind and thoughtful. If someone was struggling within his rage, he would help them without hesitation. He was also the one who taught Yang the basics of editing and copying.

Ren Jiang stepped closer to Yang, he wanted to tap the male's forehead to check, but he didn't do so. "Did you take your medicines? It's already past lunch break. " he stated.

Yang scratched the back of his head. The truth is, he still hasn't eaten lunch because of the paperworks he needed to do. He already finished all of the editing earlier but Secretary Tien Xu suddenly showed up and told him that there are newly received novels that needed to be checked before lunch time, so he did it first.

While he was still contemplating inside his mind what to answer, Ren Jiang picked up the hot copies from the xerox machine and grouped it using his fingers. He put it between the white folder near the desk.

"Manager! I can manage! Please don't do it," Yang protested.

Ren Jiang gazed back at him with serious eyes. "You're going to deliver this to Jin, right?" he asked and turned around. "I'm going to accompany you and then you will have your lunch with me,"

"B-But…" Yang couldn't talk back anymore since Ren Jiang was now meters away from him and he needed to dash to catch his pace.

They reached the office right in time. The two guards opened the door for them. There, they saw Guang Jin sitting in front of his desk, typing something on his laptop. He was wearing glasses, which made him more handsome.

"I came here to submit Mr. Chen's report," Ren Jiang roamed his eyes around. "Where's your secretary?"

Guang Jin didn't take his eyes from his laptop, "Do I look like a 'lost and found' to you?" he sarcastically asked. But when he saw Yang behind Ren Jiang, he paused and pushed himself inches from the desk. "And are you Mr. Chen's dog now, Ren?" he asked, removing his glasses.

Ren Jiang put down the folders on the man's desk. "As you know, your secretary is acting a little bit cocky in front of my subordinates, I don't like it," he said.

Guang Jin grinned, "Heh? Is that so?" he shot a quick glance at Yang and then back to Ren Jiang. "What do you want me to do then? Do you want me to fire him and put Mr. Chen as my secretary instead?" he asked.

Ren Jiang massaged his temples. "Such stupidity," he mumbled.

Yang cracked like a hard stone after hearing the insult from his manager towards his CEO. He started to turn his head on both males, not even knowing what to react. 'Should I stop them?' he thought.
