Transmigrated Into The Book

He slapped both of his cheeks then he shook his head multiple times. He needed to forget what happened last night or else he will feel very awkward in the office. 

Yang took the cup of coffee in front of him, he carelessly sipped the hot liquid inside, it made him throw up the moment he burnt his tongue. 

"Yang, what happened? Be careful!" Shi Ying quickly wiped his mouth and cleaned the table. 

Yang was in front of the table eating breakfast. He was spacing out since he woke up. Who wouldn't? He got drunk last night from gulping all the wine in front of his boss just to dodge his questions. 

And there is only one thought left in his mind. It was when Guang Jin told him that he was beautiful.

"Yang? Are you sick? Do you want me to call your boss to make you leave work for a while?" His mother worriedly asked.

Yang quickly protested. "No, mom!" He exclaimed. "You don't need to do that, I'm going to work today, it's fine.." he made a smile to assure the woman.

"Don't push yourself, it's your boss who brought you home last night after all," Shi Ying sat down and looked at her son. Pitiful eyes and worried expressions, she couldn't help it. She didn't want to put Yang in danger again.

Yang understands his mother. Waiting for a comatose person for 5 years and almost losing hope. Who wouldn't get scared of it? Even if he's not in the place for that warmth, he wanted to claim it. 

Why? Because Shi Ying is not his real mother, even his father. Yang came from the orphanage, he got no memory of his true parents. 

"Mom, I'm fine,I'm not a kid anymore," He smiled towards the woman. In fact, he was very lucky to feel the love he was longing for. Even if his real parents showed up, he would never abandon Shi Ying.

Yang and Shi Ying were in the middle of a conversation when a car honked three times in front of their house. It made both of them look at each other. Shi Ying volunteered to check who it was.The woman walked closer to the window and parted the thin curtains. She gave her son a glance. It's because the car was very familiar to her. 

"It's your boss; car," she said. 

Yang jolted from his seat, slammed his hands on the table that caused the plates and utensils to bounce. "Ehh?! What is he doing here?!" he exclaimed. 

After a second of wondering, three knocks were heard behind their door. Shi Ying was the one who opened it. 

Two men wearing balck suit with broad shoulders almost cover the woman's shadows. They're too tall for her physic. Shi Ying smiled and greeted them. "What can I do for you?" she asked. 

One of the men bowed his head and said. "Our boss wants to fetch Mr. Chen Yang." he answered. After saying that, a handsome man merged behind them. He was wearing a white polo under a dark brown long coat. His sharp phoenix eyes aren't sharp today, it was calm and friendly. Guang Jin slipped out his other hand, put it on his stomach and bowed. 

"Good morning ma'am," he greeted the woman. "I am here to fetch your son, Is Mr. Chen still here?" he asked. 

Shi Ying couldn't  help but let them go inside. She guided them towards the dining table, but all of them were surprised to see no one there. The woman scratched the back of her head. "He must be upstairs preparing, Please wait in the living room, I will call him." she said. 

When they were about to head to the said room. Yang came running down the stairs while eclaiming, "I'm here! I'm here!" When he was about to step on the last part of the stairs, his shoes slipped.

"Ekk!!" Yang lost his balance, he was about to fall. Fortunately, Guang Jin was standing next to the stairs, he caught the male just right on time. "Be careful," he whispered. 

Yang felt the warm and hard chest as he pushed his cheeks in. That's when he realized that he was on his boss' embrace. He bounced away with the red taint all over his face. 

Shi Ying came to him, "I told you to be careful, you don't need to rush down," she said, worried. 

Still dumbfounded, Yang rubbed his nape and giggled at his own mistake, "I don't want to be late, mom" he said. He turned his head to Guang Jin, "I'm very sorry for causing you trouble, Mr. Li!" He smiled. "Thank you for catching me," 

That time, when Yang smiled, Guang Jin's attention went to the male's hair. His eyes watched the messy hair swaying with the morning wind. His hand moved unconsciously, delivering a pat on Yang's head. He ruffled the male's hair for a couple of minutes until he got stunned at himself. 

"I'm sorry, Your hair is a bit messy," He reasoned out.

One of his bodyguards whispered something to him which made him check his wrist watch. Guang Jin cleared his throat, "We need to go now," he glanced at Shi Ying, "I'm sorry ma'am but we need to go," he said.

Seeing the man smile at his mother made Yang a little bit uncomfortable. 'He's so fake' He mumbled in his thoughts.

Shi Ying carressed Yang's cheeks. "Take care," she uttered before giving a kiss to his son. The other male hugged her and bid goodbye.

Yang didn't wait for his boss to come out, he was the first one who opened the door. Guang Jin and his two bodyguards followed them. One of them dashed forward to open the car door.

"I can do it," Yang murmured. He slumped his butt inside the car with his crossed arms. 

Guang Jin also entered the car. He sat on the right side and told the driver to keep going. 

In the middle of their ride, he noticed Yang pouting. It made Guang Jin amused, a side of Yang he wanted very much."Mr. Chen? Why are you pouting so early in the morning?" he asked. 

Yang's expression reflected on the car window near his face. "Please don't do it again,I can ride a bus or a taxi alone, I don't need you to fetch me," He said.
