Transmigrated Into The Book

A smirk stretched Guang Jin's lips, he shot a glance at Yang. He stared at the male for a couple of minutes before saying, "Mr. Chen? Did you also forget my special order?" 

Yang wanted to sigh but he didn't dare to do so. He just looked down to avoid Guang Jin's eyes. 

The truth is Guang Jin had another condition in his contract. Yang was here not just to check the newly arrived novels, but also to do something for his boss. 

"Did you already think about it, Mr. Chen?" Guang Jin raised one brow and asked. 

Yang stayed in his stance, he didn't dare to look at the man in front of him. "Mr. Li, can you please give me more time to think?" he asked, clenching his fist beside his waist.

Guang Jin scoffed and giggled. Usually, if he asks the same favor to somebody, they will automatically say YES without him waiting like this. Yang was different, that's also the reason why he wanted him to be his fake boyfriend. 

For him, it's funny. The arrogant CEO of the company prefers a man over a woman. The truth is, Li Guang Jin is gay. He wanted his family to cancel his arranged marriage to someone he didn't know. 

He then ordered Yang to go, so the male exited his office quickly.

When Yang arrived at his desk, he slumped his butt and shrugged his shoulders. He really felt nervous a while ago. He didn't even know what to answer. It was a shock for him that his bastard and arrogant CEO would ask him to be his fake boyfriend. 

"Is he playing with me?" He mumbled to himself with a frown expression. Even him still couldn't believe that Guang Jin was very confident to say to his face that he was gay. Is he that confident enough for his image? He wasn't scared to be seen in public?

Yang jolted when he felt a tap on his shoulders, "What are you thinking so deep that you almost didn't hear me? I'm calling you over and over again," One of his officemates scowled at him. He put a box of doughnuts on Yang's table. "Secretary Tien Xu gave us free sweets," he said before walking away.

Dumbfounded, Yang took one piece and delivered it straight to his mouth. Savoring the sugar on the doughnut, his eyes elated. "Sweet!" he mumbled. 

When everyone was finished eating their snacks, the office became silent again. Everybody was busy for a couple of minutes. Until the afternoon and the evening. 

Yang also finished his work at almost 6pm. He yawned and stretched a little. He flashes a smile to his reflection on the monitor. It's so good to see a completed work. He stood up and gathered  the folders and documents left on his desk. 

"Yang? Are you finished?" 

It startled the male, because there were no other people in the office left, only him. 

The man who called him, scowled. "Do I look like a ghost to you?" Secretary Tien Xu's face turned more serious. This man is the same height as Yang. Jet black hair and sharp eyes, he was always frowning. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't notice your presence,Secretary Tien Xu!" Yang bowed his head and then again did what he was doing a while ago. 

Tien Xu observed the male. He admits that Yang was clumsy sometimes, but he got the talent. He was a fast learner and very thoughtful. There was a time when one of his officemates couldn't understand the pattern of their reports, Yang was the one who reached a hand. 

Although , he couldn't understand why his boss took a liking to this male. Sometimes he got jealous because of it. He was working as Guang Jin's secretary for a long time and yet he never experienced those things Guang Jin was doing to Yang.

"Secretary Tien Xu?" Yang waved his hands in front of the other male's face to get his attention.

Tien Xu cleared his throat, "The CEO wanted to invite you for dinner," he said, which made Yang drop his jaw. "What?!" he exclaimed. 

The nerves on Tien Xu's forehead almost cracked. He didn't like to repeat the things he just said. "I said the CEO wanted to invite you for dinner, are you deaf?" his voice raised a little.

"This way, sir." The lady smiled at them the moment the entrance opened. 

Yang also smiled at her and followed behind Guang Jin. The restaurant seemed very expensive and everything was elegant. There was a reserved table for them. 

Guang Jin's assistant pulled the chair for Yang. He took the seat and said thanks. The other man whispered something to his assistant and then they walked away. 

"Good evening, sir..here is our menu," One of the waiters smiled at them and put a medium thin book on the table. "Feel free to choose what you want to eat tonight," he added.

Since Yang was embarrassed, he quickly took the menu book and pretended to scanned the menu. His eyes almost bawled out after seeing the prices. 

"What do you want to eat?" 

He jolted from Guang Jin's question. He wasn't really hungry and eating in this expensive restaurant was enough to give him an uncomfortable feeling inside his stomach. "Anything is fine to me," he just uttered.

Guang Jin smirked and gazed at the waiter, he closed the menu book. "Serve us the best food you got, I will pay anything," he slipped his black card from the pockets of his coat and gave it to the waiter.

The waiter elated in excitement after seeing his big time customer, "Right away, sirs!" he dashed back to the kitchen.

Since it was already the two of them, Guang Jin went back to his usual aura. The cunning smile and sharp eyes looking down at anyone like piercing a soul out. "Do you like the place, Mr. Chen?" he asked. Bragging himself and how rich he was.

Yang nodded his head, "I appreciate this dinner Mr. Li, but you don't need to do everything just for me," he said.

Guang Jin chuckled, "And who told you that I am doing this for you?" he shrugged his shoulders. "This is how I eat and spend my money, Mr. Chen...consider it as the perk if you accepted my special order," 

'So he was hitting me for that huh,' Yang scowled and looked at Guang Jin. It's true that this man in front of him was indeed rich. Guang Jin can buy everything he wants with just a flick of his fingers. In fact, he can pay someone to pretend to be his fake boyfriend. 

"What do you want from me, Mr. Li?" Yang crossed his arms. They are not in the office anymore, so he was not acting as an employee. "You're rich, you can just pay someone there, so why me?" he asked.

Guang Jin didn't dodge the question but he was a bit surprised. Since he wanted to show his arrogance, he replied. "Because I want it to be you, Mr. Chen," 

Yang frowned, "I don't understand, I am not that type of a person. I can earn money by doing other good things," he replied. 

Guang Jin smirked, "Do you consider this as an illegal act? Don't worry, I will not order you to kill someone for me," He crossed his arms and leaned his back on the chair. 

Yang brushed his own face in disappointment. He didn't even mention if it's illegal or not, this man really never listens to him. He was pointing out that he wanted to know the reason why he was the chosen one.

"I am not saying that it was illegal," He clicked his tongue, "I don't understand why you wanted it to be me, I mean, I am a man in the first place, Mr. Li" 

Guang Jin's eyes darkened a bit. He closed his fist in silence. "Do you have any problem with that?" he asked, stern voice. 

It stunned Yang, he could feel the heavy tension from the man's voice, "No, No, No, That is not what I intended to say," he stated.

The CEO smiled and his face lightened up again. "That's good to hear, Mr. Chen…Don't get me wrong, I don't have any romantic feelings towards you, I just want you to pretend in front of my father," he explained. 

Hearing about his father was enough to give Yang the shivers. If the son was arrogant and bastard like this, what more his father. He can imagine his life on the line right now. 

"Mr. Li, Let me ask you one thing!" He lightly slammed his hands on the table. "Why do you want it to be me? You can have anyone, so I don't understand," 

Guang Jin lifted his back from leaning. He took the bottle of wine from the table and poured some on his glass. He smelled the lid of the glass and swayed it slowly,watching the red substance dance inside. 

He looked at Yang who was still waiting for an answer. He took a sip and grinned, "Mr. Chen, it's because you are beautiful," he answered.
