Chapter 354 - World 11.11

The next morning, Yang got off the last bus. He almost got late but managed to enter the office. His officemates greeted him with their eyes fixed on him.

"Are you okay, Yang?"

"Did you run up here using the stairs? You look very exhausted,"

Yang tried to make a smile and said that he was okay, but the truth is he felt like he was about to collapse. It's true that he used the stairs because the elevators are already full. He had no choice.

He took off his black coat and started to check the newly arrived novels online today. He got it within a half minute. As usual, he will print the results and deliver them to the CEO's office. That was his daily routine.

While he was scanning the newly arrived novels before lunch time, someone put a cup of coffee on his desk. It caused Yang to look up, "M-Manager?!" he exclaimed.

"Why are you so surprised? I bought coffee for everyone," Ren Jiang said with a smile. That's when Yang twisted his head and saw everyone with coffee in them.

"You are working too hard, rest for a while, no need to rush," Ren Jiang said. He leaned closer to Yang's screen and observed the male doing his work.

That sudden gesture from the male made Yang flinch in surprise. He saw the manager's cheeks closer to him.

"You've got this wrong," Ren Jiang took the mouse, "If you are going to put this on the list, you should sort it's chapters first then put it on the folders," Every word he was doing was swaying Yang's hand together on the mouse.

Yang felt something inside him that made his chest thump hard. He felt like his face was turning very hot at the moment. He was trying to follow the man, but he couldn't focus at all.

"Yang? Are you listening?"

"Yang?"

He just got snapped back when he felt a warm palm on his forehead, "Mr. Chen? Are you sick?" Ren Jiang asked him worriedly.

The redness crawled in Yang's face, he sprang up from his seat and exclaimed. "I'm fine! I'm fine!" then he turned around. "I'm going to use the bathroom for a second," and before Ren Jiang could say a thing, the male dashed away.

"What the heck is happening to me?!" Yang slapped his cheeks in front of the mirror. Observing his expression right now is making him more embarrassed.

He splashed some water on his face and used the tissue to wipe himself. He quickly threw it in the trashcan and made a long sigh as he gripped the door knob. "Get a hold of yourself, Yang" he mumbled to himself.

Just right the moment he opened the door, another grip grasped his wrist. The hand was big and veiny. Yang almost got choked with his own saliva when he realized who it was.

"What took you so long, Mr. Chen?"

Yang met his sharp phoenix eyes under his perfectly arched eyebrows. Tanned skin and tall. Broad shoulders and strong chest. His smile wasn't warm, it was more like a smirk.

"Mr. CEO?" Yang wanted to exclaim but chose to utter the word.

Guang Jin tightened his grip around the male's wrist. He looked at him and said, "You really got me here just for the papers, Mr. Chen...patience is not my virtue,"

Yang froze, he remembered the reports he was doing a while ago. He told Secretary Tien Xu that he will submit it before lunch time. "I apologize, my mind suddenly got occupied by something." he bowed his head.

Guang Jin didn't reply, he didn't even let go. He dragged Yang towards his office. Though the male was struggling. Yang's strength was not even half of the man's force.

They reached the office. Secretary Tien Xu who was about to get out from the door was startled. He didn't dare to ask, he bowed his head and walked away.

"Mr. Li?" Yang looked down at his wrist, which was still connected to the man's hands.

Guang Jin let him go, he turned around and fixed his coat. Silence crawled between them.

"Mr. Li? If you don't mind, I can get my reports from my desk," Yang stated. He turned around and was about to walk away when the cold voice from the man stopped him.

"Where are you going, Mr. Chen? I didn't even give your permission to turn your back on me,"

Hearing this, Yang felt the cold sweats dripping from his forehead. He spun his head around and bowed, lower than his waist. "I apologize!" he said.

Guang Jin released a light chuckle. He sat down on his swivel chair and crossed his legs. He gazed at Yang from head to toe. "Mr. Chen, are you scared of me?"

Yang shakes his head, "I'm not, Mr. Li! I was just respecting you as our company CEO," he replied.

That answer made Guang Jin amused. The truth is, he saw Ren Jiang and Yang a while ago. Finding out that Yang wasn't scared of him gave him a little pride against Ren Jiang. He didn't even know, but this new employee caught his attention so much.

"Mr. Chen, if you are scared of me, then why are you trembling?"

Yang jolted, he clenched his fist. "I-I-I'm not!" he stammered. He lifted his head, but averted his gaze away from the man.

Guang Jin leaned on his desk, "Heh? Are you sure, Mr. Chen?" he grinned.

Yang nodded, "Yes, Mr. Li!! I apologize for my late reports, if you badly need it now I can quickly grab it from my cubicle," he said.

"No need, the papers can wait," Guang Jin said.

Yang then felt a little relief but also wondered. If Guang Jin didn't need the papers then why did he grab him here alone? He wanted to ask but he couldn't bring himself to say a word.

"Mr. Li, Can you please tell me why am I here?" Yang asked.

A smirk stretches Guang Jin's lips, he shot a glance at Yang. He stared at the male for a couple of minutes before saying, "Mr. Chen? Did you also forget my special order?"
