Transmigrated Into The Book

"Good morning, Mr. Li!" 

The employee greeted him the moment he stepped foot into the office. What amazed them was the figure following the man behind. Yang smiled at them nervously while letting his head peek beside the CEO's broad back. 

Some of them also nodded their heads and greeted Yang. Since the atmosphere turned very uncomfortable with them, Guang Jin walked away, but before he could pass by the male, he whispered something. "Come straight to my office after you finished your report, Mr. Chen" Then vanished right away, leaving the latter an odd feeling.

Yang shakes his head. This is not the right time to think about it. He sat down in front of his desk and brushed his face. 'I should focus!' He scolded himself. He turned on his computer and gathered the files on his desk. He needed to finish his work before lunch time.

{Do you have any idea what he will say?}

AUTHOR: I don't have any. Why think about it so much? I thought you wanted to focus on your work and finished it before lunch?

{I couldn't help it! I'm getting mixed feelings, and who told you to read my mind so freely? You nosy author}

Yang jolted from his seat when he felt a light tap on his shoulders. "Hey! Mr. Chen? Why are you with the CEO today? Did you bump into him in the lobby?" One of his co-workers pulled the other chair and sat beside him. "The CEO seemed so bright today, he's not frowning," he whispered.

Yang scratched the back of his head when he felt his ears turn hot. "Is that so?" he replied. "I bumped into him in the lobby so I asked him to take the elevator with me...hehehe" he reasoned out. It's more embarrassing to tell that Xu Shein confronted him yesterday while having dinner with the manager and then ended up sleeping at the CEO's place. He couldn't take more. 

"You really got the charm to tame someone, ehh," His desk mate also butted in to praise him. "You got very close to the team manager too and now with the CEO." The man drew a grin on his face. "Say, Mr. Chen...you're not flirting with them in secret, aren't you?" 

Suddenly, with those words, Yang felt that he got pushed down. Those eyes full of praise a while ago turned to disgust and creepy. Then buzzing sounds echoed inside his ears.

"Stop teasing Mr. Chen, didn't he already say that he's not into men?"

"What if the rumours about the manager are true?"

"The rumours about the team manager being gay?"

"What if they wanted to date Mr. Chen?"

"Don't underestimate them, they are rich,"

THUD!!!

Silence fell into them when Yang slammed his hands on the desk. "I need to go to the bathroom," then he walked away.

"F*ck!"

Yang cursed out after waking himself by splashing some running water onto his face. He leaned on the side of the sink and bent closer to the mirror. His hair got wet, so it went down on his forehead. "The heck is wrong with me?" He whispered to himself.

He pulled some tissue and wiped his face, then he aggressively threw it in the trash bin. He sighed before opening the door. It's true that he's close to Ren Jiang and a little more to Guang Jin, but it's not his intention to flirt with them. He felt a little relief that making the CEO love him was only in the BONUS OPTION of the system. 

Yang shrugged and sighed. He was about to take a step when he bumped into something—hard? 

"Why is your face so gloomy? Did something happen?"

Ren Jiang greeted him with a question. Yang backed away real quick after smelling the man's perfume. He realized that they were so close. "S-Sorry?" 

Ren Jiang tilted his head. "Sorry?" he asked. "What do you mean, Yang? Are you apologizing? Did you d--"

"No! No! Sorry for blabbing that out so suddenly!" Yang exclaimed, swaying his hands in the air. His face is now red from embarrassment. 

"I don't understand," his manager uttered. 

Yang suddenly felt that his breaths were turning short, so he unconsciously loosened his collar to calm himself. After hearing and seeing those reactions from his office mates, he became anxious. He gasped little by little, hiding his expression from the man standing in front of him.

"Yang, are you okay?" Ren Jiang was quick to notice the male, but he kept distant. It must be a sign of sudden shock and it might cause another panic if he touches or approaches the male. "Yang, nod your head if you are okay." he took two steps forward. He was trying to close the distance between them in case the latter collapsed. He can catch and bring him to the company clinic.

Yang gasped, clenching his chest. "I-I'm f-f-f-fine…" he stammered. 

{Geez! Why do I need to be like this in front of him! I don't want anyone to see me in this state!}

When Ren Jiang was only inches away from him, his body reacted. He pushed the man away and dashed outside. If some of his office mates use the bathroom and see them like that, it will become a big matter in the company. This is not the right time to faint in Ren Jiang's embrace.

Yang dashed outside. Heavy steps while catching his breath. The more suffocated he gets, the more he will pull off his collar. His legs tremble and when he was about to fall down, the man he bumped into the narrow hallway caught him in time. 

Yang grabbed the man's coat and raised his head, only he realized that it was Guang Jin. He bumped into another trouble!

Meanwhile, meters from them. Guang Jin saw Ren Jiang running after Yang. The other man stopped when their eyes met. He realized what state Yang was right now.. His eyes turned cold, and then an intimidating aura glowed from him. He grabbed the male more towards his chest asked in a raging voice, "What the f*ck did you do to him, Lou Ren Jiang?!"
