Transmigrated Into The Book

He stopped typing and checked his wristwatch. He will do it every minute, like he was waiting for someone to knock at his door. Guang Jin already prepared everything. It took him hours to decide. He didn't know if it was only him who felt this way or it was supposedly like this. "What's taking him too long?" he finally snorted out. 

He stood from his swivel chair and pulled his necktie upwards. He put on his coat that swayed in the air as he walked away. If Yang was still doing his job, he could just ask for him real quick to arrange what he prepared. 

He's not that patient, but he's doing it to the male right now. What is he thinking? He's the one who said that he had some important things to say and yet he's the one getting excited here. He reached Yang's working cubicle. The computer's on and the data is running on the monitor. He paused and observed the male's working place. Even though there were folders piled up, it was neat. His lips curved a smile before he could even realize.

"Mr. Li, are you looking for Mr. Chen?" One of his employees, sitting on the left side of Yang's desk, asked. He didn't wait for an answer. "He went to the bathroom, but I also saw Manager Ren Jiang earlier heading to the bathroom," he secretly smirked. "Did the janitor do some special cleaning today? I wonder why," he emphasized those words sarcastically.

Guang Jin had a short temperament, he was known for it. Though he didn't think that he would trudge right away after hearing that Ren Jiang headed to the bathroom after Yang. His intimidating aura left shivers on the other employee. He's very much looking forward of waiting Yang and yet, Ren Jiang's on his way again.

He halted with his heavy steps. He didn't even have time for the janitor who greeted him. Guang Jin ignored everything. Just when he's just meters away from the bathroom, a figure running away startled him. He recognized it until Yang stumped and fell onto his chest. "Wha--" Guang Jin was stunned upon seeing the state of the male. Loosen collar and untucked upper buttons. His necktie is also out of place. Yang was gasping and full of redness all over his face. 

To his surprise, another figure exited the bathroom. As expected, it was Ren Jiang. It's clear and bright as the day that he was chasing Yang, but in that state?

Guang Jin jolted when the male on his chest clenched his coat. A gust of anger crawled all over his system. Turning his sharp eyes towards Ren Jiang as he snarled. "What did you do to him, Lou Ren Jiang?!" 

Instead of answering him, Ren Jiang yelled. "He's gonna collapse, catch him!"

Yang really collapsed, but in Guang Jin's embrace.

The not-so-familiar ceiling caught his eyes. He blinked a few times before finally getting back to himself. He then realized that he was lying on the coach at the CEO's office, but there's something wrong. Why is he not in the clinic? He remembered he collapsed, but shouldn't it be right to stay there to let the nurse check him?

Yang turned his head and noticed the soft and warm thing under his neck. 

"Are you awake?"

Guang Jin showed up in front of his eyes. And their angle was, he's lying flat on the couch while the CEO was sitting above, no—it's not above his head. He's definitely lying on his lap.

'Lap?!' Yang jolted and sprang up, but before he could reach halfway, a palm pushed him down. "You can stay if you feel dizzy," Guang Jin said, still with his palm on the male's forehead. "My legs aren't that weak to turn numb in an instant, Mr. Chen" he said.

"What am I doing here?" 

"Huh?" Guang Jin stared at him, frowning. "You collapsed in the bathroom. What the heck happened to you?" His intonation changes according to his expression.

Yang wanted to giggle, but remained silent. It was surprising to see and hear the CEO talking and acting this way. Scolding him so casually. 

Guang Jin noticed Yang's gaze. "What are you looking for?" He rubbed the middle of his nose. "I almost mistook Ren Jiang doing something ba—whatever! I don't want to recall it anymore," he snorted. 

"...pfftt!" Yang finally laughed. He covered his lips and continued laughing, while the CEO's ears secretly turned red. "I didn't know that you have this childish side, Mr. Li," he stated.

Since he's now feeling comfortable and okay, he lifted his body and sat up on the couch. Guang Jin used that opportunity to turn his head away. His ears are still red though. Yang scoffed a chuckle. Who would have thought that he got lucky today to witness such a scene. "You made my day, Mr. Li...thank you," he smiled.

He didn't want to embarrass himself anymore, so the CEO stood up and picked up his coat that had fallen on the floor. He used it as a blanket for Yang, but it seemed like the latter didn't notice, so it fell down. 

Guang Jin headed to his desk and opened his laptop. He opened the drawers under the table and took out a white folder. He picked up his favorite pen and read the document before staring back at Yang. "I'm gonna propose something to you, Mr. Chen" he said, tapping the button on his pen.

Yang flinched. He remembered that the CEO asked him to come to his office after doing his reports. "Yes! I remembered," he replied as he dashed near the desk and took a seat. 

Guang Jin opened the folder in front of his eyes, putting the pen beside it. Yang got curious, so he bent down to read the title. It was a contract. "A contract?" he blabbed out unconsciously.

The other man smirked. He clasped his fingers and put it under his chin. "Mr.. Chen, be my new secretary," Guang Jin said.
