Transmigration of Shams: The Legendary Cultivator

Far from the school of Master Wushu.

A wide and far stretched land where the castle was located.

It was known in the entire realm that the castle of the Golden Dragon Sect had the best security.

Feared within the human realm, the Golden Dragon Sect dominates within the human realm.

Mostly because they are the most favored sect of the God Emperor.

Serving him was the priority of the Golden Dragon Sect.

After the assembly, the emperor requested for his most trusted general to remain so they could discuss certain security issues.

There were things that had to be discussed.

Alarming enough for the emperor to worry.

One of them was the safety of his older brother, Master Wushu.

Right after everyone has left, his most trusted general approached him.

"General Xander! I am glad you accepted my request." The emperor greeted his most trusted general.

The general paid respects and bowed to the emperor.

"How can I refuse, your Highness? My family are indebted to your benevolence and grace. We earned a lot from your generosity, your Highness!" General Xander praised the emperor for all the good things he has done for the family of General Xander.

He continued, "I am at your service! Whatever troubles you … I will do my best to help. And eliminate your enemies."

A serious look was painted all over his face.

Showing his fervent respect and devotion for the emperor.

"Recently, some movements from the members of the founding noble clans are becoming more suspicious. And if I am not mistaken … they are aiming their blades at my older brother." The emperor shared his suspicions to his most trusted general.

He continued to explain,

"My older brother and I may not be in the same page. But rest assured he will not do anything that may harm me. Despite my decisions that is against his principles, he never arranged a rebellion or plotted schemes against me. Though, he isolated himself far away and resigned from his previous official position in the court."

"I cannot allow something bad happens to him."

Clenching his fist at the thought of his older brother getting harmed.

"Wh-Why would the headmasters of the founding noble clans harm your older brother, your Highness? After all … he is still a member of the royal family." General Xander was surprised to know that there is a plot against Master Wushu.

"You know my older brother. He refuses to serve anyone. And he will never cooperate anyone who has different sets of principle compared to his. Even his own brother, he will not submit to. What more to others!"

The emperor added, "And you know the headmasters of the founding noble clans. They will remove anyone from their path once they find out that you are against them or … have become a threat to their dominance in the realm."

Even General Xander contemplated on the words of the emperor.

His silence meant in agreement with the words of the emperor.

"My older brother has become known as the most powerful cultivator in the human realm. Having him unshackled or uncontrolled. Makes him one of the most unpredictable man in the realm. Then, you include his disciples."

General Xander nodded along with the insights of the emperor.

"I do agree! Your older brother's disciples are all talented ones. Rumor has it, his disciples are all orphans because most of them are survivors from the clans or families that were annihilated by the founding noble clans." General Xander shared his own thoughts to the emperor.

"Which makes my older brother more threatening. Putting himself within their crosshairs. That's why …" The emperor thought of a plan to help his older brother.

He continued, "General Xander, I want you to carefully monitor their movement and

save my older brother at all cost."

"How about his disciples?" General Xander asked.

"Your priority is my older brother. The rest … I have no care at all. The founding noble clans must not be aware of my involvement here."

General Xander became confused at the last statement of the emperor.

"What do you mean, your Highness?"

"I must maintain the appearance of someone in a neutral ground. Headmasters of the founding noble clans can easily replace me as the emperor. Since, they were the ones who made it possible to make me the emperor for decades. And they can easily take away my crown from me." The Emperor explained to his most trusted general.

He further explained, "In order to keep peace between the founding noble clans, they decided to choose the emperor that does not belong to the four founding noble clans. The emperor seat is a façade. The real rulers of the Golden Dragon Sect are the founding noble clans."

Concluding his speech, the emperor gave his final words to his most trusted general.

"Thus, I must keep myself out of their sight and out of their hit-list. This is a game where I need to play my moves carefully. Until we find someone who can lead in taking out the four founding noble clans. I must remain in the shadows. And keep my true plans hidden from the others."

"My will at your command!" The most trusted general kneeled in front of the emperor.

"Thank you, General! Saving your life and your family proved to be the best decision I have made. But make sure we won't get caught by the headmasters of the founding noble clans."

"Of course, your Highness!"

"Or else … everything I worked hard for … will FALL APART!" the emperor feared for his plans to fail.

In defeating the founding noble clans, the emperor must carefully make his moves.
