Trinitas Mundus

Lesson Six: The City of Adventurers

November 4th.

The Rays decided to spend the day relaxing and strolling through the village relaxing.

Essentially, it was just a rural area and due to the proximity of Periclitle, a large city, there were few entertaining facilities and only a few dining halls and taverns.

They went into one of those houses, relaxing and having tea, Ray decided to listen to the destination Periclitle in order to distract Ashley, who was tired.

"Ash's been to Periclitle, hasn't he? What place?"

"Yeah, a few years ago, but I've been through it with an escort a few times. Beauty did not rival Fonce, but it was a vibrant and good city. I remember feeling yearning for that freedom-loving temperament back then."

With a slightly distant eye, Ashley continues her explanation.

"That city has many adventurers. There are so many adventurers living that they say three thousand or four thousand. There are no kings or nobles..."

Originally, Periclitle was a transportation hub connecting the commercial city of Aurella to the west, Ars, king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum to the south, and Fonce of the Kingdom of Lax to the north. However, due to the proximity of the demonic nest Aquila Mountains and the deep forest, the damage caused by the demons continued unabated. So the merchants called in experts to hunt demons, and made the city. Those who hunt that demon will later be called adventurers.

The demon hunters put their energy into the crusade, but became annoyed to contract with the merchants individually, creating a professional organization. That is said to be the beginning of the Adventurer Alliance.

The Adventurer Guild comes up with a system that grades demons and rewards them accordingly. The remuneration was also made stable by entering into contracts with the commercial guilds made by the merchants. The further development of a method of paying taxes out of remuneration also allowed a good relationship to be established with the State power.

Initially, the Adventurer's Guild, which was only around Periclitle, instantly spread across the entire continent of Tria. It is said to be the intention of those in power who craved a tax collection device (system) called the Adventurer Guild, but it is also said to be the thought of a commercial guild who craved a security system that is not dependent on state power.

Either way, the Adventurer's Guild grew to the point where it was said that a city with a population of more than 3,000 must have branches. It was the Adventurer's Guild headquarters in Periclitle that bound that huge organization.

Its Adventurer Guild's guild chief is the administrative head of the city, but basically a council consisting of the heads of other guilds and districts runs the city.

There are no kings, nobles or knights in the city, and there is a very free atmosphere because what wears power on the kasas is despised. They appreciate what they have strength in every profession, and not only skilled cooks and craftsmen, but also very highly regarded, such as the eight hundred shops that handle quality vegetables. Sometimes he said he was appreciated more than a life-threatening adventurer.

Ray listened to Ashley and uttered a question.

"If there are three thousand of you, you mean if you go to Periclitle, you'll meet a first-degree adventurer? First class mercenaries are meeting Mr. Hamish, so next time you're an adventurer."

Ashley shook her neck to the side and immediately denied, "Probably not.

"You know the difference between ranking mercenaries and adventurers..."

The ranking method involves mercenaries being ranked according to the martial arts level, whereas adventurers are ranked up by performing a specified number of requests for a rank set by the Alliance. If you are at the same level as your own, you can successfully make a hundred requests and advance to the next level for the first time. In other words, a first-degree adventurer will not be able to become a first-degree unless he defeats a hundred times powerful demons such as second-degree equivalent demons, ground dragons, or third-degree equivalent demons in the Auga or Snake Dragon "Serpent" classes.

Of course, if you defeat a demon equivalent to a level 1 ten times, you can become a level 1, but fighting powerful demons hardly likely to encounter such as Evil Dragons or Advanced Demons (Arc Demons) more than 10 times is harder than that.

In other words, it is said that it is not actually possible to go up to the first level because we need to keep fighting that many demons, even if they are equivalent to the first level of strength.

"There must have been a couple of second-degree adventurers, but they said they often get behind Aquila. I hear you're not often in the city, so maybe we won't see each other."

Ray couldn't imagine three thousand adventurers.

(Even Fonce's Adventurer Guild shouldn't be able to deal with 300 people a day. What this means is more than ten times the size of that one. I guess it will take a while to buy...)

Did you hear his thoughts,

"There are three huge guild buildings in Periclitle. The main headquarters in the heart of the city and the east and west branches. I'm not familiar with it because I've never been there, but it must have been divided by what I asked for."

"I see. And I'm looking forward to it. But if that's all, it's going to be tough to take the inn."

"Right. But you're paying for this case, so I don't think you're gonna be in so much trouble."

As Ray thought, the brightness was also back on Ashley's face.

"But you look forward to it. I wonder what it's like..."

Looking at Ashley's brightened expression, Ray was giving thought to a city of adventurers he hadn't seen yet.

November 5th.

Rays A merchant company consisting of eight escorts and eighteen wagons left Kenney.

According to the information purchased yesterday, many demons also appeared around here, and the danger had risen to the streets along the border.

In particular, there was information that the raid of flying demons had become more pronounced and that the merchants, whose countermeasures were only bows, had been wiped out.

Ashley, who also became head of the escort this day, was not so worried because he had a powerful mage named Ray, although he was concerned about the story of that flying demon.

(If you're a flying type, you can fully counter Ray's magic. Don't worry about the more numerous insect-shaped demons than that)

She had attacked near Caldbeck, endangering an insect-shaped demon raid like Soldier Ant.

(It is Ray who holds the fate of this merchant army. I can handle it if I don't get an insect type that doesn't go well with his magic...)

When I say that to Ray, "I'm thinking of measures for once, but it's a bump production," he replies, scratching his cheek.

(If Ray's thinking anything, you're fine. After that you just have to let me stay calm)

At that time, Ray was thinking of something else.

(I told Ash yeah, but you don't have all that good a hand. Enough water magic to freeze it. What, but I can't make enough ice to make it immobile. I can only slow it down in the cold. Thinking about it like this, a hard, pain-resistant insect type is quite a threat... and even so, why would an insect type come out when it's almost winter?

Less than an hour after I left, the demonic raid began.

It was the big bear that came out. It was also Four Handed Bear Four Arms Bear with Four Arms.

The four-handed bear is a giant bear about four meters tall when it rises, and is a powerful third-degree equivalent demon with a pair of arms attacks on its shoulders and belly.

The horror of this bear lies in its thick fur and four tough arms. The lower arm also covers the slightly weaker defensive abdomen, so it is not possible to enter the nose and attack.

For that reason, Ashley, along with Ray and Stella, had given instructions not to touch the Hanks.

(Hank and the others are on foot. But I didn't know there would be a third level demon here...)

Ashley and Stella take advantage of the speed and stir it up, but the thick skin with the hard hairs is hard to rip open.

Ray's magic can also do some damage, but it's not a decision hit, and the three get pushed in gradually.

Ashley leaves the command to Hank and orders the carriage to escape.

"Hank! Let the carriage go! We'll take care of this guy. Command in between, please!

Hank's "Whoa!" The carriage runs out with the understanding that

"Ash! Stella! Use Thunder" Kazuchi "! Just buy me thirty seconds!

Ray was trying to wrap the magic of thunder around his own spear, the white horn (Albumcorne), to decide the battle.

Ashley and Stella desperately avoid the stormy horizontal giraffes rolling out of their four arms.

In the thirty seconds that he felt for a long time, Ray accumulates the power of the Spirit and wraps thunder around the tip of the spear at once.

And when you put the spear down low, in the middle of your lower arm, around what humans call the dovetail Misochi, you say, "Hey!" Slap the spear in with the temper.

The four-handed bear reacted to Ray's poke and tried to pay it off with his midarm.

But the moment his arm hits the spear, the smell of animal hair burning along with the sound of a discharge called batin can come in, and the bear's arm is played. Though Ray's protruding spear also slightly re-orbited, he stabbed deeply into the abdomen of the four-handed bear, repeatedly discharging the bee.

The bear growls loudly uncomfortably, stretching his arms to catch Ray.

But from the right, Ashley's powerful slaughter is determined simultaneously by a poke with Stella's weight on it from the left. The bear is damaged on both legs and out of balance, knocking his body out loud in front.

Drawing the spear back, Ray unleashed a thrust of his body on the eyebrow of an even more frozen four-handed bear.

The electric shock and the dull bear of motion in the attack between the two could not avoid it and, with a sad scream, he ran out of breath.

When the three retrieve only the Demon Crystal, they follow the merchant squad without a break.

But at that time, the front of the carriage was being attacked by a crow the size of a great eagle - the Great Black Raven.

The Great Black Raven lightly exceeds 2m when it spreads its wings, and its sharp beak and crow-like cunning are the demons of the weapon.

The Great Black Ravens hang to crush the eyes of the towing horse in the leading carriage in order to stop the movement of the merchants.

Noticing the enemy's intentions, Hank hangs the Great Black Raven in a kick with his bow, but the leading horse, set in "Taka" by more than ten crows, his eyes are finally crushed.

To the pain of being crushed in the eye, the horse runs like crazy and falls off the street every carriage. Fortunately, the one who had jumped aggressively and was safe, but soon thereupon the great black ravens had descended and had been obstinately attacked with his head, neck, arms.

The swordsman of the escort rushes and strikes it off with a sword, but it's hard to hit the big black raven with a light movement.

When Hank nearly screams to give up, arrows of light pierce the Great Black Ravens one after the other.

Ray laughed nicely, "I'll take care of this place!," he assembled the magic of a crossbow of light as he raised his hand.

An arrow of light flies out of his hand again.

The Great Black Raven also swirls sharply, trying to avoid the arrow.

But Ray's unleashed arrows orbit equally sharply, piercing the body of the Great Black Raven.

To the emergence of the mighty enemies, the great black ravens rose to the sky in unison.

When Ray unleashed three more arrows of light and slammed down two, the wise ravens left a repentant squeal and left to the east sky.

The one who had been suddenly surrounded was bloodstained and bore quite a deep hand.

Ashley orders Ray to be ready to leave as soon as he leaves the treatment to him.

"I give up that carriage. And the luggage! Cancer just give me first aid and put me in another carriage! We're leaving in a minute!

Follow her voice honestly, both your lords and merchants.

Hank was watching her as a warring general.

(Again, the tiger child means tiger. still in his early twenties, but he has a style of warfare)

And watching Ray treating your man,

(Can you use all that magic and do even more healers? Spears are considerable, and I can cut my head off. I guess omnipotence refers to him)

Ashley's fury reaches Hank, who is thinking.

"Hank! What are you doing! I need you to put your back together now!

As he apologized, "I'm sorry," he tried to go behind him, where the daughter of an animal man with silver hair had already finished preparing to leave.

When he says a word, "I'm glad," she goes back to her holding area with a peppered head down.

(Hidden in the shadows of those two, but this girl is also quite an arm. So is swordsmanship, but so is the throwing arm... I wonder what these three are traveling to do... whoa, they'll yell at me again)

He threw the three things out of his head and went back to his place.

Afterwards, the big black raven "Black Raven", who ran away, has persisted to hang on a few times, but drives it all away with the magic of Ray.

When I went in this afternoon, I couldn't see the demon at all.

Ashley wondered about it, called Stella and asked for her opinion.

"No demons, but do you feel any signs?

Stella reviews her surroundings once and replies, "No, I don't feel any smell or signs".

"I wonder why," Ashley muttered, "maybe a crusader went by a while ago," Stella said.

"Crusaders? It's not wrong, though?

"It only made noise in the woods once. After that, I felt a slight smell of blood."

Ashley was convinced that it would be enough and instructed Stella to remain on alert.

November 5th, 3pm.

The surroundings had completely turned into peaceful landscapes.

The city was close or the long idle countryside stretched out in front of me.

Moving further, you will see a building-like shadow ahead, gradually revealing the full city.

The city is surrounded by wooden walls and wooden viewing stands are installed everywhere.

On the west side of the city was a large river, along which the streets ran. Around the city are cropped wheat fields, and vineyards are created on the slopes along the river.

I thought Ray looked a little like the landscape along the Rhine in Germany that I'd seen in the footage.

(Pretty steep gorge, isn't it? There's a vineyard on a sunny southerly slope, and wasn't there a view like this on a German romantic street or something?
