This was the day Dudley and Harry were leaving.

"Did Dudley and Harry bring enough changes of clothes?"

"Dudley, are you sure you want to take those things?"

"Harry, remember to bring Hedwig's rations. Eat the ones in the white bag on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the ones in the green bag on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and the ones in the yellow bag on Sundays. Remember not to feed it too much, and remember to write me a letter when it's finished eating."

Vernon went to pack the two people's luggage and put it in the car, while Petunia patiently reminded them of some precautions and always added a sentence at the end.

"Lily used to be like this when she was in school."

Hedwig was the name of Harry's owl.

"Got it, Mom."

"Got it, Aunt Petunia."

Dudley and Harry nodded their heads like chicks pecking at rice.

It has to be said that the owl rations made by Penny were very much to Hedwig's taste. According to Penny's recollection, the owls raised by Lily liked the rations she made the most.

The result was that Hedwig became twice as fat in just over a month. If you asked who she was closest to at home, her owner Harry would be second.

"It's amazing that wizards would take a train to go to school. I thought they would use more magical methods, such as a giant pumpkin carriage pulled by countless Pegasus horses or a pirate ship that can float in the air."

Vernon walked in mumbling. In the past month, Dudley had forced Harry and Vernon to work out every day, and their stomachs had shrunk several sizes.

"It's almost time, we should set off. By the way, which platform is it?"

Harry thought for a moment and replied, "The eleven o'clock train from Platform nine and three quarters at King's Cross."

"."Vernon was a little stunned: "I've never heard of this platform. Well, it finally gives me a sense of mystery from the magical world."

King's Cross Station was about an hour's drive from the Dursleys.

As expected, at the entrance of the station, they found the Grangers, and the two families agreed to enter the station together.

"This is platform nine, and that's platform ten. So where is platform nine and three-quarters?"

Vernon pointed to the plastic sign for platform nine and then to the plastic sign for platform ten.

"Is it enchanted like the Leaky Cauldron?"

Mr. Granger asked.

Just as everyone was confused, Hermione spoke.

"I read in A History of Hogwarts that the entrance is at the junction of Platforms 9 and 10."

He pointed to the second to last pillar from the tenth platform.

"As expected of Hermione, she's really smart and knows everything." Petunia looked at Hermione with a doting look. The more she looked at her, the more she liked her. Then she glared at Dudley and Harry and said, "Look at these two boys in our family. They don't study hard and just play all day long."

Hermione's love of studying reminded her of her sister Lily, who also loved reading and studying, and had excellent grades. Even after going to Hogwarts, the relationship between the two sisters was not that bad at the beginning. If it weren't for an unpleasant meeting, their two families should have been closer.

It's all because of that uneducated brat James who led her astray.

Dudley said that he was shot even when he was lying down, because he was no worse than Hermione in terms of studiousness and he could always beat her.

Maybe this is someone else's child.

Anyway, everything from other people’s homes is good.

"Dudley, you're a boy and so strong, why don't you help Hermione share some of the luggage? Young man, show your gentlemanly manners."

Petunia looked at Dudley with a look of disappointment. As she spoke, she piled the luggage on Hermione's cart one by one onto Dudley's cart. At the end, she reminded him, "Take good care of Hermione at school. Don't bully Hermione, and don't let her be bullied by others."

Hermione blushed when she heard this, lowered her head and whispered goodbye to the parents, then pushed the cart towards the nine and three-quarter stone pillars and disappeared into the stone pillars. Dudley and Harry followed closely behind, pushing their carts respectively.

Watching the three children disappear before her eyes, Petunia said with emotion: "Hermione is such a quiet child."

If Dudley knew this, he would definitely object loudly that although Hermione loved reading, she was not quiet at all.

"Wow, that's Dudley. He's so good in both academics and sports."

"Hohoho" x2

The two mothers praised each other, saying that the other mother's children were always better.

My father was much more direct.

"Wendell, wanna go for a drink? How about the Leaky Cauldron?"

"Although the drinks at the Leaky Cauldron are unique, they are a little bland. I know a new bar that has drinks that are also quite strong."

"Then what are you waiting for?"

The two families left the station together.

On the other side, after successfully passing through the stone pillar, Dudley felt that the surrounding environment suddenly became much brighter. The narrow train platform became much wider. A dark red steam locomotive, completely different from an ordinary train, was parked next to the platform. The train sign read "Hogwarts Express" in large letters.

The station, which was originally sparsely populated on platforms nine and ten, was now packed with people. They were all wearing clothes similar to those of the people in Diagon Alley. The thick smoke from the steam locomotive lingered above the chattering crowd. Cats of various kinds shuttled among the crowd, and the shrill cries of owls could be heard from time to time.

It was obvious that these were students going to Hogwarts.

Dudley's journey to Hogwarts is about to begin.

Chapter 34: Hogwarts Express

With Dudley there, the weight of the luggage was nothing, and they were easily loaded onto the train. The three of them found an empty carriage and got in. The carriages at Hogwarts were allocated according to age, and students of each grade could only enter the corresponding carriage.

As soon as they got on the train, Dudley and Hermione took out their textbooks from their pockets and started studying. No one spoke, and in order to kill time, Harry was forced to take out his books.

To be honest, he was quite interested in books about the wizarding world, and maybe he could read them on his own, but he really couldn't learn them to the same degree as Dudley and Hermione.

The only sound in the carriage was the sound of turning pages of a book.

"Can I sit here?"

The door was opened, breaking the silence in the car.

A little boy with red hair and freckles on his face leaned half of his body in and said, "Everywhere else is full."

Then he saw Dudley and said quickly, "I'm sorry, I went to the wrong carriage. I thought this was the first year carriage."

After saying that, he ran to other carriages.

Dudley stopped him and said, "You are not in the wrong place. This is the first-year carriage."

He had tried to lower his voice as much as possible, but to the other party it still sounded like the sound of a small loudspeaker shouting.

"But."

After hearing what Dudley said, the little red-haired boy was still a little hesitant and kept looking at Dudley.

Helpless, Dudley could only point at himself and said, "I'm a first-year, too."

It would have been fine if he didn't say it, but once he said it the red-haired boy became even more hesitant.

The little red-haired boy wanted to make sure if this was a prank, as his two older brothers particularly enjoyed doing so.

Seeing the other party's awkward look of wanting to say something but hesitating, Hermione and Harry covered their mouths and laughed quietly. In the end, it was Harry who explained and made the other party believe it.

Even so, while sitting in his seat, he would glance towards Dudley from time to time.

"Hello what is your name?"

Harry looked at the little red-haired boy sitting next to him and took the initiative to break the silence.

I'm going to Hogwarts soon, a new school, a magic school to boot. I'm so excited that I can't really concentrate on reading.

"Ron, Ron Weasley." Ron introduced himself.

Hearing his last name, Dudley couldn't help but look up at him. Ron was also stealing a glance at Dudley at that moment, and their eyes met in the air.

This made Ron shudder unconsciously, and he shrank as close to the edge of his seat as possible. This was basically the first reaction of all the children who met Dudley for the first time. The reputation of being able to cure children's night cries was no joke. However, he was soon attracted by Harry's words.

"Nice to meet you, Ron. My name is Harry, Harry Potter."

Hearing Harry's self-introduction, Ron stared at him in disbelief with his eyes wide open, and for a moment he even forgot his fear.

"Are you Harry Potter?"

Ron unconsciously added a hint of honorifics.

This made Harry a little uncomfortable: "No need to be like this, Ron, just call me Harry."

"Then you really...you know." Ron tried to organize his words and unconsciously pointed at Harry's forehead.

To be honest, this is a very rude move.

But Harry was good-tempered and didn't mind at all as he brushed aside a lock of hair from his forehead, revealing the lightning-shaped scar.

Ron's eyes were so wide that they almost popped out.

Before he could say anything, Harry covered his hair again.

Before coming, Dudley told him not to show his scar unless necessary.

"Is this what the mysterious person did?"

Ron asked, and although it was a question, it was said in a positive tone.

"Sorry." Harry didn't want to continue on this issue: "I don't remember it anymore."

"Don't remember at all?"

Unfortunately, Ron didn't hear it and continued to ask anxiously.

"Ahem. Mr. Ronald, I don't think Harry wants to discuss this issue right now."

"And there's a piece of dirt on your nose."

Hermione interrupted their conversation before Dudley could, and she felt that Dudley was getting a little impatient.

It's just that her slightly rough and direct narrative method made Ron somewhat uncomfortable.

Yes, although Hermione has good grades, she is not good at communication and always gives people an illusion of being overbearing when she speaks.

Sometimes, good intentions can lead to misunderstandings.

In fact, Hermione was also very surprised when she first learned about Harry's background. After all, this was Harry Potter, the famous savior of the wizarding world. However, after getting along with him for a long time, she found that Harry was not as exaggerated as written in the books. He was just a little wizard of the same age as herself. Then she just treated him as Dudley's younger brother and got along with him normally.

But Ron is different from Hermione. It can be said that he grew up listening to the stories of Harry Potter. Now that such a big celebrity is in front of him, how can he not be curious about a living Harry Potter standing in front of him.

"Who are you?" Ron glanced at Hermione with a hint of displeasure.

"Hermione. Hermione Granger."

Hermione introduced herself briefly, like a proud little hen.

Harry then remembered and introduced to Ron: "And this one, he's my cousin Dudley, Dudley Dursley."

"Hello." Ron said hesitantly after seeing it was Dudley.

Dudley was putting a bit too much pressure on him.

The main thing is this face. How should I describe it? From a distance, he looks quite honest and simple, but the closer you get, the more you can feel an invisible sense of oppression. If you sit face to face with him, people with weaker psychological endurance will not be able to bear it.

"You can just call me Dudley." Dudley put down the book and looked at Ron.

He thought that he could no longer be a bully like he was in St. George's Primary School and must get along well with his classmates in the new school. So he rarely showed a smile that he thought was kind.

Who knew that when Ron saw that smile, his heart almost stopped, and he responded with a smile that was uglier than crying.

Just as Ron was thinking about whether to find an excuse to leave the carriage, there was a gentle knock on the door, and a soft voice sounded outside the door.

"Excuse me, have you seen my Leifu?"

The door of the compartment opened, and outside was a shy, round-faced boy, standing there awkwardly, with a look on his face that looked like he was about to cry.

"you are?"

Harry looked at the other person slightly inquiringly.

"My name is Neville, Neville Longbottom."

After Neville's stumbling narration, everyone realized that his pet toad named 'Riff' was missing.

"I've been looking for it for a long time but couldn't find it. Can you help me?"

Neville looked at everyone pleadingly.

When his eyes fell on Dudley, his body shrank involuntarily and he wanted to move away reflexively. This was almost the first reaction of all children when they saw Dudley.
