Under one person: I, Zhang Zhiwei, the arrogant Zhang

Chapter 632: Master talks about the true way to heaven belonging to the Xuanmen

Zhang Zhiwei's heart skipped a beat, as if he understood something.

If the subjective and objective are equal, then "I" and Tianshi Mansion are together.

If the idea is valid, then this scope can be expanded, and the objective is not limited to Tianshi Mansion, but the whole Shenzhou, or the whole world.

By analogy, that is, "I" and Shenzhou are together, and I am together with the whole world.

This idea is a bit arrogant.

Because if it is really equal, then wouldn't it be longevity and immortality?

But why can't it be equal?

Zhang Zhiwei thought a lot in an instant, and he really couldn't find any reason for inequality.

At this time, Yi Qian spoke up, and he said in a deep voice:

"Young people are full of energy. How can the objective and subjective be equal? We are all disciples of the Tianshi Mansion. The Tianshi Mansion is permanent, but the Taoist priests are changing. Not to mention us, even the Tianshi is the same."

"I think so too," Zhang Yi said, "We are all Taoist priests. When we enter the Tao, we need to convert to the Three Treasures, that is, the Tao Treasure, the Sutra Treasure, and the Master Treasure. If so, how can we be equal?"

Lan Gu said, "We Yuanhuang Sect also need to convert to Zhao Hou when we join the religion."

Zhao Hou is the Qingyuan Miaodao Zhenjun of Guanjiangkou, also known as Erlang Shen.

Zhang Jingqing looked at Zhang Zhiwei, wanting to know what he said.

For many things, he can only give some suggestions. As for what conclusions they will draw in the end, it depends on themselves.

For example, what Yi Qian, Zhang Yi, and Lan Gu said cannot be considered wrong. It's just a difference in personal choices. Different choices will naturally lead to different results.

Zhang Zhiwei thought for a moment and said, "Master compares the objective to the Tianshi Mansion and the subjective to us. If, I say if, the Tianshi Mansion is gone, will we still exist?"

Lan Gu looked at her nose, her nose looked at her mouth, and her mouth looked at her heart, and kept silent. This question might be a bit sensitive, and it was not convenient for her, an outsider, to answer.

Yi Qian and Zhang Yi looked at each other in surprise. It was really a bold statement. They looked at Zhang Jingqing and saw that he was calm and had no intention of getting angry. They turned their heads and looked at Zhang Zhiwei again.

Only Zhang Zhiwei continued, "The fact is that even if the Tianshi Mansion is gone, we will still exist. Even if we now rely on the Tianshi Mansion to exist, we will prosper together and suffer together, but we are free."

"We are free. We can choose to disappear with the Tianshi Mansion, or we can choose to exist alone."

"So, the relationship between us and the Tianshi Mansion is equal!"

While speaking, he glanced at Zhang Jingqing inconspicuously. He is free, but what about the master?

Zhang Jingqing looked at him: "You are right, but not entirely. Although I compare the subjective to you and me, and the objective to the Tianshi Mansion."

"But in fact, the relationship between the subjective and the objective is far more than that simple."

"The subjective is still you and me, this will not change, but the objective can be broader."

"It can be the Tianshi Mansion, or the world outside the Tianshi Mansion, such as this country, this world."

"The connection between the subjective and the objective is also closer. At this point, do you think the subjective is really free?"

Zhang Zhiwei suddenly realized that the mountains are different from the mountains, and the distance and height are different. They are different from the master.

The master used his own example, and he stood from his own perspective.

If it is changed to the master's perspective, if the Tianshi Mansion does not exist, he, the Tianshi, will naturally not exist.

Now the master has expanded the objective perspective to the country and the world, which is also consistent with what he thought before.

Zhang Zhiwei did not interrupt and continued to listen to the master.

Zhang Jingqing said: "If it is true that what you said is that the subjective is 'free', then it will not be constrained by the objective, but this is impossible... or it is difficult."

"Because the objective is not just the land and world we live in. I compare it to the Tianshi Mansion just to enhance your sense of substitution and facilitate understanding."

"In fact, the objective is the cornerstone of all this, even your desires, emotions, and feelings, these are all products of objective conditions, they are all objective."

Everyone listened attentively, and Zhang Jingqing suddenly stretched out his hand, with golden light mixed in his fingertips, and cut a hole in Zhang Yi's hand.

"Ouch!" Zhang Yi screamed and glared at Zhang Jingqing: "Brother, what are you doing?"

Zhang Jingqing smiled and said: "Even pain is an objective existence and cannot be avoided. The reason why Zhang Yi feels pain is the influence of the objective on his subjectivity."

He looked at Zhang Zhiwei: "In such a relationship, do you think the subjectivity will be free?"

Zhang Zhiwei thought for a while and said: "Nine insects and three corpses, eight sufferings of life, are all the influences of objective blessing on us, deeply rooted, and naturally not free."

Zhang Jingqing nodded: "Yes, so the subjectivity is never free, the subjectivity is shaped by the objective a product of the universe."

"After understanding this, perhaps since becoming a Heavenly Master, my practice has revolved around this one thing."

"That is to get rid of the constraints of the "objective" on "me" as much as possible, and in turn use everything in the objective world to complete the subjective shaping of "me". "

"Whether it is greed, anger, ignorance, or the three corpses and nine insects, the eight sufferings of life, and all other hardships, they are just tools I use to shape "me". "

"I must examine every decision to see if it is beneficial to shaping the appearance of "me". "

Zhang Jingqing scratched himself with golden light, but there was no expression on his face, and said:

"The pain is an objective influence on my body. I don't change my expression, not because I am holding back the pain, but because I have let go of the pain."

"So pain, an objective product, cannot have an impact on the subjective me."

"I can also adjust my subjective emotions and behaviors without relying on the influence of any objective conditions."

"It's like that day when I went to chastise Huaiyi and Huaiyi attacked me. His behavior was objectively disobedient to Master, but I will not let his objective behavior affect my subjective judgment."

"Even if he is wary of me, even if he disobeys me, I still treat him as always, because 'I' am free and at will in these aspects."

"And the reason why I am free in this aspect is because I let go, or in other words, I broke away from the constraints of objectivity."

"Life and death are also objective in an objective sense. Even if death comes one day, those parts that are not free and belong to the objective will be returned to the objective."

"But that polished subjectivity will continue in the form of expectations."

"No matter what the objective is, whether it is the Tianshi Mansion, my country, my culture, or the entire world, the subjectivity has not changed. I am still the same 'me'."

"To me, this is freedom, this is freedom."

Zhang Jingqing patted Zhang Zhiwei on the shoulder: "So I told you before that you don't have to worry about things like life and death. To me, this may be a..."

Zhang Jingqing smiled relievedly: "Comfortable."

Zhang Zhiwei looked at Zhang Jingqing's face with many thoughts in his mind.

He thought of Wu Man, who had come to him for help before and later begged for death.

At that time, Wu Man clearly understood and reached a new level, but he did not resist.

What Wu Man said to him rang in Zhang Zhiwei's mind.

——The true Buddha Dharma, true ignorance, and true enlightenment are not fixed things. If what you understand is a fixed thing, such as magical powers and magical skills, then it is wrong.

There is really nothing, the body is gone, not even the feeling is gone, so the five aggregates are empty, there is no light, no form, everything is unattainable, this is Anuttar Samyak Sambodhi. Great enlightenment.

Don’t his words coincide with Master’s words? To get rid of all the constraints of the objective world on the subjective, this is emptiness.

After thinking about this, Zhang Zhiwei told his master what he had just thought about.

After hearing this, Zhang Jingqing sighed: "I originally thought that he was transformed from a Buddha to a demon and was hopeless. But I didn't expect that he finally passed through. It's not like he came to this world in vain."

"It went through..." Zhang Zhiwei thought about his master's words.

"Senior brother, you mean that Wu Man, that madman, has reached the state you just mentioned?" Yi Qian was a little in disbelief.

Zhang Jingqing nodded, then shook her head.

"Zhiwei often says that your Xuanmen style is back again." Yi Qian said angrily.

Then, he looked at Zhang Zhiwei: "Zhiwei, tell me."

"I said..." Zhang Zhiwei paused, inexplicably thinking of himself in the plot, which was what Master Tian said when he taught Quan Xing.

If you pluck a hair and benefit the world, don't do it. If you take a hair and harm the world, don't do it. If you don't pluck a hair, don't take a hair, if you can let go of the many temptations in this world, you will have achieved something.

And Yang Zhu, the ancestor of Quanxing, wanted to let go of the whole world.

Wu Man should be a successful person who has given up the many temptations of the world.

And now I should also be at this level, with my own subjective consciousness sitting high on the spiritual platform, unaffected by delusions.

Wu Man's final breakthrough was actually reaching the same level as himself.

Then... in the plot, how far has the Heavenly Master achieved?

Zhang Zhiwei thought for a while and decided to pass on the message to Zhang Chulan as soon as he saw him. This was to get rid of the objective factor of life and death.

Ignoring the objective wishes of the company and the ten men is almost a violation of the will of the entire world.

His level of subjective polishing must be very high, but it is definitely not as high as that of Yang Zhu, so high that he can put down the whole world.

Because the objective restraint on him is still there, that is the Celestial Master.

If you let go of Tianshidu.

Then Taoist Master might be able to do it.

As for how to let it go...

Whether it breaks free on its own or spreads the word and ends the matter, I don’t know.

If you can break free on your own, you are barely doing it.

If word spreads and nothing happens, then Bilian is misleading people.

After thinking this, Zhang Zhiwei put away many thoughts and said:

"Master wants to say that Wu Man gave up all kinds of temptations and broke away from the shackles of objectivity, but he didn't completely let go of objectivity, or in other words, he didn't have time to polish his subjectivity, right?"

Zhang Jingqing nodded: "Yes, he realized the Tao, but he did not practice it."

Breaking free from the shackles of objectivity is enlightenment. As for letting go of all objectivity and the whole world, Zhang Jingqing didn't think about it at all.

"It sounds like a pity," Zhang Yi looked at Zhang Zhiwei, "You kid didn't give me a chance!"

Zhang Zhiwei said: "It's not a pity at all, or it's not important at all."

Zhang Jingqing nodded: "It really doesn't matter. If he insists on practicing the Dao, he will not be able to understand the Dao. It is rare to get to that step. If he insists on practicing the Dao, he will quit that step."

"Mysterious!" Zhang Yi sighed: "After reading the Taoist canon all my life, I still feel that it is difficult to follow the Tao and reach the sky."

At this time, Zhang Zhiwei asked: "Master, where did the subjective part of Wu Manzhao's "freedom" that was free from objective constraints go?"

Zhang Jingqing paused for a moment, and just sat there quietly, without any unnecessary movements.

Zhang Zhiwei knew that his words touched on the part that Master could not say.

In other words, Master could use anything to screen himself, but he didn't want to.

Not saying it, in fact, it was said.

For a while, there was no speech on the table.

After a while, Zhang Jingqing said: "He passed away, and naturally went to the Western Paradise."

Passed away... Western Paradise...Zhang Zhiwei pondered these two words.

Passed away was originally a high-sounding word, but now it is applied to any monk who dies, so it can't be considered something that cannot be said.

But there are many adjectives for monks' death. Would Master's use of passed away have any meaning...

Zhang Zhiwei remembered Master's description of reincarnation just now. Master said that the underlying logic is the same, but the presentation form is different.

Wu Man is a Buddhist of the Three Treatises School, so his form should be a Buddhist form.

In Buddhism, the death of a high monk is called "Yuanji", also known as Nirvana.

"Yuanji" means that all virtues are perfect and all evils are extinguished.

"Nirvana" is a religious term, a Sanskrit word, which means to be freed from suffering through enlightenment.

These two are actually the same thing, but one is a transliteration and the other is a translation.

I would like to mention that "Yuanji" was invented by the Tripitaka Master Tang Xuanzang, the leader of the Dharma Appearance School, one of the eight schools of Buddhism.

Tang Xuanzang did not use Nirvana, but "Yuanji", which must have his deep meaning. Zhang Zhiwei did not know what it was, and he had no intention of investigating it.

He was thinking about another thing. Although he was not proficient in Buddhist principles, he still had basic common sense. The Buddha has three bodies, the incarnation, the reward body, and the Dharma body.

The Buddha Shakyamuni died under the Possa tree, which was the death of the incarnation, but his reward body and the Dharma body still existed.

So, the Buddha's Nirvana cannot be said to be death.

This seems to correspond to what Master said about the relationship between subjectivity and objectivity.

The founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni, died in the objective world, but his polished subjectivity remained.

The retribution body and the Dharma body may be subjective, even if not, there should be a relationship.

And if, as he thought, the subjective and the objective are equal, then the Buddha is... the world?

The Western Paradise? !

Will Wu Man have a retribution body and a Dharma body after his death?

Even if he is not as good as the Buddha, at least he must have left something behind.

Zhang Zhiwei remembered that in the original plot, after Wu Man died, the head of the Wang family became a monk and built a pagoda for Wu Man to worship him.

At that time, the Wang family had not yet arrested the spirits and sent the generals, so there should be no such messy things as arresting spirits.

Before, Wu Man's body was handed over to the head of the Wang family to deal with, maybe he could ask Wang Ai about the follow-up...

Then, he remembered his own Tianshi Mansion.

Master said that the underlying logic is the same, since the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni, left behind a retribution body and a Dharma body.

Then our Taoist founder Zhang Daoling must have left behind something similar to his reward body and dharma body. Where are they in the Tianshi Mansion?
