"What exactly do you want? Why? Why would you do that?"

"Whatever I do has nothing to do with you!" Jessie snapped, silencing her questions. "Now, you have two choices."

"What are you talking about?" Mamie asked in a voice shaking with both fear and anger.

"First, get an abortion. I will give you a good amount of money. Then you can leave here and go abroad. Don't ever come back."

"You want me to have an abortion?" Mamie couldn't believe her ears. "This child is my flesh and blood! You are also a woman. How can you even say those things to me? Are you even human?"

"Well, there is also your second choice," Jessie answered.

Mamie swallowed before she asked again. "What is the second option?"
