Cheng Xiu pursed her lips at the healer Troll's words. She had known that it would not be easy to fight these Trolls already, and now she had lost her weapon.

Cheng Xiu's eyes fell on the lady in the red Robes. "Any chance that I could get a second spear?"

The red-robed faceless woman kept mum.

Cheng Xiu sighed as she realised what that meant. "I guess I was hoping for too much."

Cheng Xiu ducked away from the long sword to her face while she was distracted, and sidestepped from the metal club to the shoulder from the weapon of the healer Troll.

She frowned, unsure of what she should do. She knew that her powers were inactive at the moment, and the only weapon that she had for this fight was broken by the healer, she was powerless.

Almost like the red-robed woman had heard her thoughts, the woman turned away from Cheng Xiu, facing the wall.

What are you trying to say? Cheng Xiu wondered. Did the red-robed woman mean that Cheng Xiu was disappointing her?

Cheng Xiu ducked, dodged and evaded the combo attacks of both the healer and the longsword Troll.

She was trying her best, was she not? She had no actual advantage at that point.

While she had fought with the Immortal expert called Lotus, she had a rusty old sword with her to deal the blows, but now, she was left with no weapons or skills. Cheng Xiu thought that she was doing relatively good, considering the circumstances, no matter what the red-robed woman thought.

Cheng Xiu dodged again. She felt the Qi in her increase its flow as she circled, and stepped towards the larger group of the Trolls near the end of the Third golden ring.

The healer troll glared at her, its red eyes gaining a saturation in colour as it looked at her.

Cheng Xiu wanted to put her hand in the air, and shout towards the heavens at that moment. In games, when your enemy gained a different eye or became red, it meant that they had received some kind of special skill, or had activated a special ability of theirs.

Cheng Xiu did not like the fact that the healer had another boost in power. The creature already had healing ability and a metal club, was it necessary to add special skills to the mix?

The metal club in the healer's hand glowed red and the bulging area of the club detached itself and hung from the pole area by a strong iron chain. It became a mace.

Cheng Xiu cursed. A mace! It fricking turned into a mace! She could not believe that the weapon the healer had held was so versatile.

She was unsure of how to proceed so that she could actually win this round, and then fight with the rest of the trolls. The quest goal was to kill 30 Trolls, and she was struggling to make the number reach a hundred.

She could not believe that she had thought she would be able to win against the trolls just because she was able to recognise the pattern. Just because she was able to calculate the safety that she could get by having a parachute did not mean that she would be able to stop herself from becoming paste in the ground when she fell without a parachute.

Damn it. She was in deep trouble.

The healer spun the bulging part of its weapon by spinning the iron chain it was hung from.

The troll released the weapon at high speed.

Cheng Xiu dived away to the side and rolled to her feet.

The metal ball hit the ground with great impact, and left a meter deep indentation on the floor, sending debris everywhere.

The Troll with the longsword dashed at her and jabbed at her.

Cheng Xiu dodged towards the right, and left, and spun away from a frontal attack, and ducked away from one on her neck.

She heard the clanking of chains as the healer troll spun the weapon in its hand again.

Cheng Xiu saw the longsword coming from the left, and heard the metal ball on the chain coming at a high speed and made a risky decision.

She took a step to the far left.

Her body passed the tip of the sword at a fast speed, but the speed was not fast enough, and the sword cut into her forearm.

The spinning ball fell to the ground, creating indentation again.

She looked at the deep hole on the floor as she removed herself from the sword, and ran towards the left even more.

She made the right decision she decided as a purple liquid was released from the metal ball into the ground, turning it black.

A healer could be the best assassin because they knew the poisons very well, and how those poisons would work on each individual.

As Cheng Xiu dodged and evaded the attacks of the Trolls she started to think of ways that she could save herself from this situation. She needed to find a way to win soon…

Cheng Xiu catalogued the enemies before her with keen eyes, trying to get a sense of how her next course of action was to be.

As she observed and made use of the space of the ring available to her completely by jumping and running around, a plan started to form in her mind.

Cheng Xiu took and deep breath, and dashed forwards, her eyes on the longsword.

The longsword Troll tried to chop her head off.

Cheng Xiu ducked away from the attack and leapt forwards.

She grabbed hold of the wrist of the longsword Troll.

The troll's eyes widened as it saw that the human cultivator had broken into its guard formation.

It glared at her and tried to grab her by the throat using the freehand.

Cheng Xiu bent her neck, and reached the back of the Troll, trying to break the hand of the Troll to make it release the weapon.

She heard the metal chain spin behind her.

Cheng Xiu tried to snatch the sword out of the Troll's hand, not caring about the incoming attack on her back.

As the metal ball was released from its chains once more, Cheng Xiu smirked.

She grabbed ahold of the collar of the longsword Troll and hauled him to the front of her body.

She grabbed its armed hand and used the longsword in its hand to deflect the metal ball of the Healer Troll.

The metal ball bounced away and the hands that held the longsword revibrated.

Just as she had thought. The longsword of the troll had the ability to deflect the Healer's mace.

She had guessed this because of the confidence with which the healer troll had attacked Cheng Xiu even though there was a chance that the healer's attacks could hurt the other Troll instead of the human cultivator. And the healer would not want to hurt its comrade. The reason was that the Trolls seemed to attach importance to their comrades.

The healer troll looked at the human in front of it in anger and frustration as it realised that the human had once again gained in the fight while it was trying its best to not let the human get any advantage again.

The longsword Troll tried to break away from the human cultivator's grip. It turned the sword towards Cheng Xiu.

Cheng Xiu used that momentum to turn the blade towards the wielder itself.

The two struggled as they tried to use the longsword to impale the other.

The healer watched the two in conflict, unable to understand how to get one over the human cultivator without hurting its comrade.

It spun the metal ball again.

Cheng Xiu closed her eyes, and concentrated on the Qi flow of herself, and tried to direct it towards her arms and legs to support her strength.

The longsword swerved from their grips as a silver sheen coated the human skin.

The trolls realised what was happening.

The human cultivator was once again going into a Half-Trance.

The longsword moved forwards and buried itself in the white-robed shoulder.

Cheng Xiu cringed, and her concentration broke.

She looked down to find that the longsword was lodged into her shoulder.

She looked to find the Troll was far away from her, tied into a cocoon of ropes near the Troll leader.

"I am your opponent now," the healer said, as she pocketed a talisman.

Cheng Xiu realised what had happened. "You helped your comrade."

"Shouldn't I have?"

Cheng Xiu shrugged. "Up to you."

She pulled the longsword out of her shoulder and grunted in pain. "Thank you for the weapon by the way."

The healer glared at the human hatefully.

Cheng Xiu gave the healer Troll a cheeky smile, revealing a single dimple on her left cheek. "In fact, I am a sword user best myself. My understanding of spears is almost completely based on my fight with a spear user."

The healer's eyes widened. "You were not even using your dominant weapon."

Cheng Xiu nodded. She raised the sword in her hand to show it to the healer Troll. "Now I feel more comfortable."

The healer gritted its teeth.
