25. What Should We Do?

When Jiang Xinyue was discussing with her mother what to do next, her phone suddenly rang. It was her bestie, Jiang Wenwen, who was calling. “Xinyue, are you watching TV? Qu Wan is on the news program!”

Jiang Xinyue was not in the mood to watch TV, but when she heard the name of Qu Wan, she froze on the spot in an instant.

“How come Qu Wan appeared on the TV news?”

It almost scared him out of sense when Jiang Zhendong suddenly found that Qu Wan was missing one day. He sent a lot of people to look for her and finally found her in Qu Jianguo’s house.

Qu Wan refused to go back home when Jiang Zhendong came to pick her up, saying that the enmity between her and Qin Surong and Jiang Xinyue would never be reconciled. In the end, she had her name cancelled from the original household register and changed her surname to Qu.

Jiang Zhendong loved her, but he couldn’t change her mind, so he had to give in.

Since then, Qu Wan severed all ties with the Jiangs and had never returned home.

Later, Jiang Zhendong was busy running for mayor and he hadn’t had much time, so he could only see her occasionally.
