Ways to handle this little demon

Did he go a bit overboard in teasing the youth? Right now, Wang Li Jie was looking at him with an utterly dumbfounded expression on his face. Only after a minute, that shocked expression was somewhat replaced with anger tinged with mild embarrassment. Distancing himself from his little master as he retreated a step or two, the embarrassed Wang Li Jie snapped with somewhat awkwardness.

" You...ahh...don't you dare mention that incident even as a joke! ....."

Recalling all the embarrassing things he and Zhang Long Wei did that night, Wang Li Jie could barely find any words to snap back at the other. That night was the most embarrassing incident in his life. How could Zhang Long Wei just mention it so casually? Wasn't his little master being too cheeky?

Looking at the embarrassed Wang Li Jie, Zhang Long Wei had that kind of itchy feeling in his heart yet again. Pursing his lips, the demon, who didn't know how to deal with such weird feeling, looked down at the cute youth, pure gentleness in his eyes.

Wang Li Jie who was intending on changing the topic, raised his head to look at his little master only to spot that gentleness in the other's eyes. Why was Zhang Long Wei looking at him like this? This was getting more and more awkward. What was he supposed to do right now? Averting his gaze so that his eyes wouldn't need to meet his little master's , Wang Li Jie gently pushed the other away before asking.

" What about that prostitute? I mean...the prostitute who is the mother of that child.....have you already spotted her in this shelter?"

" No.....I haven't yet. It seems like she's not in the shelter at the moment. "

Zhang Long Wei had seen neither the prostitute nor her child. He was even starting to doubt if the identity of that lady from last night was even a prostitute or not. The reason he thought the child's mother was a prostitute, was simple. Last night after both of the child and his mom got their consciousness back, the lady went into this shelter and grabbed her outer robe before following him to butterfly village. 

Since there were many puppets left to be slain in lotus village, Zhang Long Wei was preparing to bring that pair of mother and son to butterfly village for safety. But the lady who was only in her inner robes all this while, didn't dare to follow him to butterfly village just like that, so she went to grab some outer robes whilst Zhang Long Wei was waiting from the outside of the shelter with her child.

And that's how Zhang Long Wei came to learn the fact that she was a prostitute. But now, he was even starting to doubt his own conclusion. None of the lady and her son were in the shelter. Even so, there's nothing Zhang Long Wei could do other than staying in this shelter all afternoon and treating the injured whilst waiting for that lady to come back....that is, if the lady really was a prostitute from here.

Just like that, another three or four hours passed. Both of them almost finished their task. There were not many prostitutes left to get their wounds dressed either. Soon, their business here was coming to an end already. If only that lady was a prostitute, there's no way she wouldn't come back to this shelter all day. Zhang Long Wei had already accepted the fact that his conclusion was wrong. Soon, both of them left the shelter after physician Chen allowed them to go back to the peak.

" So...what are we gonna do now?"

" Should we go look for her in the village?"

With a look that seemed to be saying " No way, I'm worn out already", the youth shook his head. It seemed like they should continue looking for that lady and her child tomorrow. Zhang Long Wei and the youth already lost both of their mental and physical energy after treating and dealing with naughty prostitutes for the whole afternoon. 

Both of them were thinking it was absolutely hopeless to find the lady today when Zhang Long Wei caught a glimpse of the familiar lady in the village street. The demon hurriedly walked over and stop right in front of the lady who was smiling like crazy whilst looking down at a wooden bento box full of dumplings in her hand.

" Excuse me...madam....do you remember me?"

" Ahh...that young disciple from last night....."

After confirming that it really was the lady they were looking for, Zhang Long Wei turned back to gesture the puzzled youth to come. Wang Li Jie confusedly walked over to Zhang Long Wei only to hear his little master saying.

" She's the lady we're finding...."

Seeing another disciple in Jianyu Sect uniform and hearing Zhang Long Wei's words, the smile on the lady's ethereal face was replaced with mild alarm.

" These young disciples are finding me? May I know the reason?"

" We're here for your son..."

As soon as the lady heard the words "your son", she immediately turned around and run away from both of them. But who was she kidding? Both of them were cultivators and she was nobody but a mortal. Just in a minute, both of Wang Li Jie and Zhang Long Wei managed to corner her in a little alley. Seeing the lady's frightened expression, Wang Li Jie tried to explain.

" Madam...we're good people. No need to feel scared or frightened. We just wanna ask you a few questions about your son.....it'd be great for both parties if this madam is willing to cooperate without any resistance. We don't mean to harm either you or your son."

But, instead of complying, the lady only responded with a crazy laughter which made her seemed like a lunatic. No need to ask more. The lady already knew why these two young disciples were after her. They'd already found out that her son was a half-human, half-demon.

No.....who would even care if her son was a half-human or not? They would only think of him like a real demon. She couldn't believe it

She couldn't believe that the real identity of her son was finally exposed to these cultivators after carefully hiding it for five whole years. The lady found it really hard to accept this reality.

" What? You two won't harm us. Who would believe such nonsense? Being a demon is just no good. Humans hate us. Cultivators hate us. Even demons want to harm us.. Who would believe your nonsense when you're going to take my son away from me just because he's a half-demon. "
