Ways to handle this little demon

"Mou sha" eyes.... 

What exactly was that demonic eye the youth and his little master kept talking about? There was a reason why people said the power of "mou sha" eye was creepy. It was such kind of eye that could make anyone who looked into them turned into complete stone statue. 

In the past, there were many evil beings with "mou sha" eyes in demon realm. But, since the second great war between righteous cultivators and demons was over, such demons ended up almost extinct. The great war broke out twenty years ago when Zhang Long Wei was still a nobody but an eleven-year-old blind and deaf teen, so he really hadn't ever seen a demon with such eyes in real life. 

Even after Zhang Long Wei became the great lord of demons, there was no such "mou sha" demon left in the realm. Last night, as to how Zhang Long Wei managed to recognize "mou sha" eye of the kid right away, was just because of the portrait of a "mou sha" demon he once saw in the past. 

If it were not for that, Zhang Long Wei had turned into a stone statue as well. By then, though Zhang Long Wei did look into the eye of the child, the other was looking at the puppet who was sent flying away by his kick. Just as the kid was about to look into his direction, Zhang Long Wei came back to his senses and managed to avert his eyes right away before covering the child's eyes with a torn piece of his sect robe. 

"Mou sha" demons needed to had their eyes covered all the time. Because, even if it was just an accident, they could instantly turned even their ally into a stone statue right in a second. Demons with such eyes had never seen even the appearance of their own family members.... Even if they had seen it, it meant that family member of theirs had already turned into a statue. 

Unlike any other humans and demons, those demons with "mou sha" eyes had a white pupil and a black eye ball. Mou sha demons had the appearance of a human on normal days. But, once the full moon night came, they turned into creepy wolves. In the previous incident a villager witnessed a standing wolf in front of the ruined brothel, that wolf was most likely to be the kid with "mou sha" eyes Zhang Long Wei saw last night. 

At first, the lady was still insisting on disclosing any information about her son, almost acting like a crazy woman. But, once Zhang Long Wei and Wang Li Jie threatened that they were bringing her to snowy-light peak to make her personally deal with sect elders, the lady changed her mind and finally gave in. 

After all, although her son was a demon, she herself was nobody but a mortal. There's nothing she could do to protect her son once sect elders found out about her son's real identity, so she had no choice but to tell everything to the two young disciples. 

Once she started telling the story, the lady didn't hide anything and honestly disclose every single thing. It's so obvious that her crazy demeanors earlier were just some seeming. Deep inside, she was just a naive and honest prostitute who was trying her best to protect her very beloved son. 

"So..... what you mean is....although both of you and your husband are humans, your son became a mou sha demon because of a curse your family was used against? "

"Who are you calling my husband? He's not even a human but a beast who raped me and forced me to bear his first offspring so that.....when he has the first child with his official consort, that child will be able to be born just like a normal human."

Hearing the lady's tragic story, both Zhang Long Wei and Wang Li Jie even didn't know how to react. According to her story, the lady was forced by a man, who was no other than the owner of their brothel, to bear his very first child.

The official consort, who was married to him, had no idea about the curse the man's ancestors had been suffering. Nobody knew who used this curse against their entire generation. But since two hundred years ago when the man's ancestors had been cursed, all the first offsprings of their family were born with "mou sha" eyes. In other words, those children were born as demons although both of their parents were real humans.

Since then, to conceal this ugly tragedy their family had been suffering, they used naive prostitutes as pawns. That's the exact reason why the man was also doing business related to brothels and pleasure houses right now. If he used prostitutes from other brothels, there's a danger of the truth being exposed.

The lady was also one of such poor victims. The reason she was still alive up until now was because she was familiar with the official consort of that man. Not to make his wife suspicious of him, instead of killing her, the man chose to build a brothel at a remote place and planned to send her there.

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, that remote place the man chose to build the brothel ended up being butterfly village at the foot of emerald jade mountain.

" Now that I'd already told all the things you wanna know, how do these young disciples plan to deal with my son? Even though my son was born as a creepy demon, he is innocent. In his whole life, he has never done anything evil....so.....please.....sob....sob...have mercy on us.....sob...please don't do anything to my poor son....."

Wang Li Jie and Zhang Long Wei quietly exchanged glances. Zhang Long Wei simply had no idea as to how the sect used to deal with so-called innocent demons which was funny to begin with..... because in his entire life, Zhang Long Wei had never seen any demons which could be described with the word "innocent". It didn't mean he didn't believe the lady's words though. Zhang Long Wei believed them.....but he just felt like laughing because just the term " innocent demon" sounded really funny to him.

" I have no idea how sect elders are gonna handle your son either. But one thing is for sure. Since he is innocent, they will do nothing to harm him. Even so, your child has demonic eye, so it's impossible to continue to let him stay in the village.. As to my hunch, I guess sect elders might send your son to the outside of the sect barrier. "
