Ways to handle this little demon

Wang Li Jie and Zhang Long Wei had finally finished with their interrogation. Not long after, they let the lady go before both of them also went back to snowy-light peak. But what these two youths didn't know was that, all this while when they were busy with their own interrogation, prince Zixin and He Jingyi were eavesdropping their conversation from a nearby inn which existed on the other side of the street.

There's no way an average mortal could eavesdrop someone else from such a distance. But for crown prince Ming Zixin, it was not impossible. This crown prince could even hear noises within a mile radius, so this much of distance was really nothing for him. Telling his princess back all the things he heard, Ming Zixin and He Jingyi continued to have their dinner in the inn. 

There's not much useful information for them except for the fact that the child of the prostitute had a twin.

" Do you think it's possible for a pendant to have two owners? " asked He Jingyi who was biting a pair of bamboo chopsticks. 

" It's not impossible. But normally, how can two kids share a pendant? Don't tell me they take turns to wear it everyday. But....."

Hearing the word "but", He Jingyi leaned in closer to the prince, his curiosity ignited.

" This pendant doesn't seem to be a normal one since it can even turn into green jade after being worn by the owner....so it's also possible for it to have two owners....."

Hearing this complicated explanation of the crown prince, He Jingyi scratched his head in frustration. He was not in a good mood today because there were just too many things to worry about. First, this morning, Jianyu Sect announced that they were not accepting any visitors to emerald jade mountain at the moment. And the guests, who were already here, were to go back in a week because the sect's area was not safe from evil beings at the moment.

But both of Ming Zixin and He Jingyi knew this was just an excuse. They knew the real reason for the sect to make such an announcement. Sect elders were already suspecting that intruders who summoned puppets to lotus village last night, were staying in villages whilst concealing their real identities as visitors.

He Jinyi was even regretting for making Ming Zixin summon hundreds of puppets last night. If it were not for him who only knew how to find fun, they wouldn't be in such a difficult situation. Second problem.....Ming Zixin had to go back to imperial city within a few weeks. The war, Ming Zixin's shadow was handling at the outskirts of human realm, was almost coming to an end. Soon, this prince had to go back to imperial city with his troops.

This was getting frustrating. It meant both of them needed to accomplish their mission in two weeks. They didn't even know how to find the other twin of the kid. Not to mention, they were now going to get driven out of emerald jade mountain.

To continue to stay here and accomplish their mission, both of them needed to find another identity. He Jingyi had been wracking his brain all day. But no proper solution came out. It's impossible for them to fake their identities as villagers. Since villages here were small, all inhabitants were really familiar with each other. There's no way any villagers wouldn't be suspicious of them if they were to fake their identity as inhabitants here.

They needed a new identity.....an identity no one here was familiar with but also not get suspected by anyone else. He Jingyi knew this sounded really impossible because how could there be such a ridiculous identity to begin with? 

The mission given by his father this time, seemed really easy on the surface. But, somehow, it only got more and more complicated as they tried to deal with it.

Ming Zixin also realized his princess had been distracted with these problems all day. He wanna say something to reassure her. But Ming Zixin just didn't know how. It's not like even he himself had already found any practical solution yet. How in the world was he going to tell his princess not to worry about anything when he was yet to find any solution? 

Heaving a sigh, Ming Zixin was about to continue having his dinner when he overheard the conversation of a crew of Jianyu Sect disciples from a nearby table.

" Do you guys know that exchange disciples from Baiyun Sect are coming to our sect tomorrow?"

" What exchange disciples? Are you kidding me? Only the sun would raise from the west. There's no way any exchange disciples are coming to our sect."

" Wait a minute...did you just say they are from Baiyun Sect?"

" Yeah....it's the most powerful one amongst seven great sects in the realm."

" You must be kidding me. Aren't Baiyun sect disciples all arrogant bastards? Most disciples of that powerful sect are from imperial families. How can it be even possible for such tyrannical brats to come to our sect as exchange disciples?"

" I'm not sure of this information though. I overheard immortal Wang and elder Wu talking about this at the arena just this morning. Or is it just that I misheard it?"

" You must just be hearing things. Don't tell me you was sleepy this morning even at the arena."

" Brat, do you think I'm doing nothing but just being idle all day? I only get sleepy in the morning from time to time...not always...."

" No way....this morning, I saw you yawning like crazy during the training just like usual..."

" Hahahaha....you are finally exposed....."

" Ahhh...just shut the fuck up.....you brats...."

Exchange students from Biyun Sect, huh? This sounded interesting....

Ming Zixin was thinking if he should give it a try when his princess who was sitting next to him, enthusiastically said it out loud.

" Let's do it!"

Ming Zixin also knew his princess had heard those disciples' conversation as well. Well...it seemed like they also had no other choice but to use this identity to continue to stay in the sect's territory and accomplish their mission. With a flirtatious single wink, Ming Zixin gave a positive response to his keen princess.. Now one problem had finally been solved.
