Ways to handle this little demon

"Xiang, do you know what happened to you? Why did you suddenly become a human? Is this one of your hidden power or something?"

Gently putting down his little Xiang on the bed, Yang Zhiqiang asked whilst brushing strands of the beautiful young man's silvery hair aside.

On his way from Yewan forest to this village inn, this very questiion kept occurring to Yang Zhiqiang. It's already been a year since he picked up this little beast from a brothel in the capital. But during this whole time, there's never been once his little beast showed some kinds of special power.

Although he felt relieved to find his little Xiang back, the sudden change of his little snake into a human was not something he could ignore.

Amongst demonic beasts, there really were some who could transform into human form. But, it was only the case for high-level demonic beasts. Even amongst such beasts, only one in a million had this kind of ability. Did that mean his little Xiang was also a high-level demonic beast from the beginning? No, Yang Zhiqiang didn't think so. Up until an hour ago, his little Xiang was simply a low-level beast with little to no demonic power.

There's no way his little Xiang had been hidden its power all these months either.....because if that's the case, yesterday when it was in the face of the danger of princess He Jingyi's black blood curse, his little Xiang would have undoubtedly revealed its demonic power.

Talking about demonic power, even by now, Yang Zhiqiang couldn't sense any evil essence from his little Xiang. Just like when it was only a little snake, even in its human form, Yang Zhiqiang could barely sense any demonic essence from it.

Just a low-level beast with no demonic aura being able to transform into a human all of a sudden....his little Xiang seemed like a creature with so many mysteries hidden. 

Yang Zhiqiang patiently waited for the beautiful youth to give him at least some response. But, his little Xiang didn't even give him a single reply. Just silently looking back at him with those sparky silvery eyes....That's all what his little Xiang did.

At this unusual response, a sudden suspicion occurred to Yang Zhiqiang. His little Xiang understood human language ever since it was a mere snake. It couldn't be that this youth didn't respond to him right now because he didn't understand the question. It shouldn't be that his little Xiang.....couldn't speak?

No...wait.....this couldn't be true either. Earlier in Yewan Forest, his little Xiang definitely called him daddy. He actually heard it loud and clear. 

" Xiang...you.....you can speak, right?

Xiang....can you call me daddy again?"

" Daddy?..."

Damnit....his premonition seemed to be really right. It's not that his little Xiang couldn't speak. He could speak and also understand his words as well. But, it seemed like his little Xiang only knew how to say " Daddy" but no other words.

Well....since this beautiful youth was a demonic beast who suddenly turned into a human, Yang Zhiqiang had expected this much. With time, he would eventually be able to learn to speak more words. Now that Yang Zhiqiang thought about it....no wonder his little Xiang already knew how to say "daddy" although it became a human just a while ago, Yang Zhiqiang really did use that word a lot to refer to himself in front of his little Xiang. His little Xiang might not even know the meaning of the word "daddy."

Yang Zhiqiang simply referred to himself like this when talking to his little Xiang because his little snake was like a precious baby to him. But, now that his little beast had suddenly turned into a human, Yang Zhiqiang felt somewhat strange to get called like this.

" Xiang, stay and rest for a while in this room. Daddy...um.....I will come back right away after buying you some clothing, okay?"

Since his little Xiang couldn't even speak properly, it's impossible to ask him how he suddenly became a human. But, Yang Zhiqiang was not that smart to think of a reasonable solution just by himself either. It might take him a while to learn the truth of this weird incident though.

The beautiful youth didn't say anything and just continued to stare at Yang Zhiqiang.

" If you understand what I means, you have to nod like this....hahaha....cute..."

With both of his hands on the beautiful youth's head, Yang Zhiqiang taught him how to nod. Even though there were several unsolved problems right now, Yang Zhiqiang couldn't help feeling happy to see such a cute human version of his little Xiang.

Be it just a snake or a human, in the deepest part of his heart, his little Xiang would always be a precious baby to him.

Maybe things might even be more complicated than he had expected. Since the beginning when he picked up this little beast, Yang Zhiqiang had no idea what the real origin of his little Xiang was.

Maybe his Xiang was not even a demonic beast as he thought. There might be some mystery to his little Xiang's real identity. But, Yang Zhiqiang was not in a hurry to find it out. Maybe it's because he was worried that things might change between them if the unknown truth was suddenly revealed.

Even so, it's also possible that things were not even be that serious as he thought. Maybe it was just his wrong instincts.

Seeing the beautiful youth nodding his head like crazy after he taught him how to nod, Yang Zhiqiang let out a faint smile.

He really liked his little Xiang. This beautiful youth in front of him was such an important existence to him. Yang Zhiqiang was not sure if things would turn somewhat weird between them from now on after his little Xiang became a beautiful youth like this all of a sudden. But, one thing was for sure. No matter what, just like always, his little Xiang would always be a significant existence in his life.....
