What?! The Gamemaster And The Top Player Are Dating?!

As expected, it seemed that Wang GuiYing and Li Ling really were too different from one another, but was Wang GuiYing jealous because of this? 

Hell no! 

He was genuinely happy for Mastermo. 

He had only ever wanted to be considered as his friend and he had achieved that goal. 

Zhihao had claimed their friendship to be legit in front of millions of fans so there was nothing more Wang GuiYing wanted from this man. 

Now that they were officially friends, all he wanted was for his friend to be happy and of course,  win against his friend and claim the one million dollar cash prize. 

He had put too much time and effort into playing this game so there was no way he would be willing to just sit around and watch Mastermo take that win. 

Wang GuiYing never knew he was the competitive type but this feeling wasn't bad. 

Li Ling coughed twice before answering, "Let's wait and see when.." 

Zhihao smiled as he heard this response. 

Was this considered development? 

The man hadn't said 'Ask me later', he had said 'Let's wait and see when'. 

This was certainly development! 

It lightened up Zhihao's mood and he couldn't wait to play this level and show Li Ling how cool he was and how much better he was than Li Ling's unknown crush. 

If Li Ling were to ever find out what Zhihao was thinking, he would be rolling on the ground with laughter because of this man's stupidity. 

To prove himself better than Li Ling's crush was a bit hard and a rather stupid competition. 

Li Ling had already been crushing on a really amazing man so there was no way Zhihao would be able to prove that Li Ling hadn't chosen the best. 

The alligator-like creature had gone away without ever noticing them and just as it did, Zhihao turned to Wang GuiYing and asked a question he had already guessed the answer to, "Are you gonna go look for Hulk?" 

Wang GuiYing chuckled as he heard this question and unlike what Zhihao had expected, he nodded his head and answered, "I don't think I have another choice. If you guys wanna go somewhere, it's okay. I'll look for him alone." 

Zhihao had always thought that Zhou Xinyi was the only one loyal to BBtrash but he was a bit surprised to see that it wasn't a one-way feeling. It seemed that no matter how much BBtrash hated dealing with extra trouble, he would still gladly try to help Zhou Xinyi. 

When Zhihao saw this, he was surprised and unconsciously smiled. 

It seemed that Zhou Xinyi wasn't a hopeless case after all. 

"That's great!" Li Ling responded immediately, "You can go look for him. We'll be on our way then!" 

Li Ling grabbed Zhihao's hand and started pulling him along as they walked away, leaving behind a shocked BBtrash. 

Wang GuiYing had wanted to look cool and thought that these two would definitely not leave him alone to search for Zhou Xinyi by himself but his calculations had somehow been wrong. These two didn't even think twice before abandoning him! 

"W-Wait!" After having recovered from the shock Wang GuiYing ran after them, "I'll tag along since we didn't have any leads about where he is." 

Zhihao chuckled but said nothing. This was the original answer that he had expected from the typical Wang GuiYing. 

After they had left the park, the robotic head that they had discovered suddenly came to life. 

At first, it was just a flicker of the light inside the head and after a few seconds, the robot was back to life and slowly stood up, dusting all the overgrown vegetation off from its body.

They walked inside a shopping complex and Zhihao was the one leading them as they checked the place out. 

The lights inside the shopping mall were still on and so were the check-out machines. Everything was normal except for the fact that there weren't any humans here either. The fruits and vegetables kept on the shelves were still fresh and it seemed that the more they explored, the more Zhihao's theory seemed to make sense. 

If the entire city was evacuated in a hurry, this whole scene would make perfect sense, however, there was still something bugging Zhihao. 

If the whole city was evacuated in a hurry, there should have been signs of such evacuation protocols but so far, they had come across nothing. 

If he was right about the evacuation, he had another question bugging his mind. What type of evacuation was it and how was it undertaken?

There was no way they were able to evacuate the whole city in minutes without leaving behind someone. 

It didn't make sense. 

Let's say that the evacuation was done through the help of a T.V. where every channel was displaying the same things and informing the people about the situation. This would certainly help but it had its own limits. What if someone were sleeping or someone didn't have their T.V. turned on? There was no way such people would come to be aware of the situation and would react. Not everyone would choose to leave their belongings behind and evacuate under short notice and it wasn't like the government could force people to do it. 

What would the government do? Go knocking on everyone's door and get them out? That sounded ridiculous and there was no way they would be able to cover the entire city in such a short time.

The more Zhihao thought about it, the weirder it got. 

At this moment, Li Ling picked up a flower that was kept on the counter for decoration and smelled it before handing it over to Zhihao as he commented, "It hasn't withered." 

Zhihao took the flower and smelled it. The smell was still fresh and just as Li Ling had said, it hadn't even started to wither yet. 

Zhihao was more amazed by the fact that he could actually smell this thing and so he asked Li Ling, "How can we smell it?" 

"The room. After we enter it, the room is filled with a sort of gas and the gas helps trick our brain into thinking that everything you smell here is real." 

"Oh!" Zhihao was a bit amazed at how this technology worked. 

He put the flower back and in the next second he picked it up again as he handed it over to Li Ling and spoke, "My gift to you." 

Li Ling chuckled as he asked, "You're gonna gift me a flower you stole from a shopping complex?" 

Zhihao was a bit embarrassed but he still smiled brightly as he answered, "A flower is still a flower. It's the thought that counts." 

"Such an unoriginal line." Li Ling chuckled but he still accepted the flower as he continued, "Thank you, future boyfriend." 

Zhihao's lips curled upwards as he heard Li Ling calling him 'future boyfriend'. 

This was great progress! 

If he could just get the man to say yes, he would be able to make Li Ling forget all about his unknown crush. 

"Guys! Come over here! Look at this!" It was Wang GuiYing's voice coming from the other aisle. He sounded tense and worried as he cried out for them. 

Zhihao's smiled disappeared as he put on a serious face and went to check it out. Li Ling also followed after him. 

"What happened?..." Zhihao was silent as he looked at the situation. 

Standing in front of him, Wang GuiYing had already taken off his helmet that came together with their suit. He stretched out his hand and showed the lollipop he had in hand, "You can taste this!" 

Zhihao rolled his eyes as he felt the need to smash his head on the wall for believing that Wang GuiYing had found something important or dangerous. 

Even if Wang GuiYing hadn't found a clue or something that could help them, his findings were still a bit interesting. 

They could even taste things? This was something new that Zhihao wasn't aware of. 

Zhihao picked up the other lollipop that was kept on the shelf and took out its wrapper before taking off his helmet and putting the lollipop in his mouth. 

The sweet candy melted into his mouth and he was thoroughly surprised to see that Wang GuiYing hadn't lied at all. 

They could really taste the lollipop and the taste was no different than the taste from real life. 

Zhihao turned his head to Li Ling as he spoke with the lollipop still in his mouth, "Try it! We can really taste it." 

Li Ling smiled mischievously as he nodded and took off his helmet but instead of taking another Lolipop from the shelf, he took the one out of Zhihao's mouth, and when Zhihao was about to say something, he kissed the man instead of tasting the lollipop. 

The lollipop Wang GuiYing was sucking on fell down from his mouth as he saw such an act of public display of affection. 

Zhihao could feel Li Ling's tongue move inside his mouth and the taste of sweetness that lingered in his mouth was now tasted by Li Ling.
