Wizard Bloodline

Chapter 5 [Energy Missile]

"It's really rare that there is such a water source here..."

Ronan soaked his feet and let out a pleasant sigh.

"Make a note of the location. You can go here whenever you run in the future."

He usually goes to the lake to get water, and fills two large water tanks at a time, which can last three to five days.

"Rust!"

There was a sudden sound in my ears.

Ronan quickly turned his head and saw a group of slightly swaying trees.

Maybe it was a frightened little animal that ran away.

Ronan didn't care.

But after thinking about it, I felt a little uneasy, so I dried my feet, put on my shoes, and walked slowly along the swaying trees.

After pushing aside a few short shrubs covered with red berries and walking a dozen meters forward, a small dark green tree house appeared in Ronan's field of vision.

"Inhabited?!"

Ronan was startled, stopped quickly, and then slowly retreated along the original path.

It was common to meet other wizards in the tree house area. Ronan had seen signs of habitation on the road before, so he stayed away. He didn't expect that there were still people living here in such a remote place.

"I won't be able to come next time...the route will have to be modified slightly."

Ronan made a decision and left in a hurry.

After sweating profusely, I returned to my place to rest for a while. It was just before nine in the morning.

Ronan's homework continues.

"Meditation is the only way I can improve my strength at this stage. The book says that every time I consume my mental energy and then meditate, the effect will be much improved."

Ronan sat under his oak tree, chewing wild fruits picked in the forest and studying the meditation book in his hand.

Meditation books mention that the human soul is like a container, and spiritual power is the water contained in this container.

Drain the water in the container first, and during the process of refilling it, the volume of the container will increase significantly.

The key is.

How to consume all your mental energy quickly.

“All wizarding activities require the use of mental power.

The more common ones are alchemy, enchantment, forging, and rune engraving.

The most expensive thing is naturally casting spells. "

Ronan put down the meditation book in his hand and picked up another wizard book with a black leather cover - "Zero Level Spell Encyclopedia".

This book was also previously obtained from Hoddam College.

Although it is said to be a complete collection, it actually only records five ways of releasing zero-level spells.

They are - [Fireball], [Ice Ball], [Energy Missile], [Charged Weapon], [Detection]

Ronan looked at the introduction of five zero-level spells and cheered up.

His biggest problem now is that his combat effectiveness is weak, oh no, to be precise, he has no combat effectiveness.

Learning a combat spell is urgently needed at this stage.

Ronan read the introduction of the five spells in detail, and after weighing them, he finally selected the spell [Energy Missile] as his current main learning target.

He has a non-attribute affinity physique, so [Fireball] and [Ice Hockey], which obviously tend to have energy attributes, are naturally not his first choice.

[Charging Weapon] needs to be used in conjunction with the weapon, and [Detection Technique] is an auxiliary spell, so the long-range spell [Energy Missile] with no attribute requirements became the most suitable choice for him.

The release principle of [Energy Missile] is very simple, that is, through spells and gestures, the mental power resonates with the free energy particles in nature.

But it's not easy to do in practice.

"Oulu..Babaqi."

Ronan stumbled over the spell that was not too long. Each syllable of the spell needed to be matched with a corresponding gesture. Ronan always focused on reciting the spell and neglected to do the gestures. He did the gestures correctly but forgot. Recited the mantra.

After practicing for several hours, Ronan was so exhausted that he was sweating profusely and his mouth was dry. He still failed to successfully release the [energy missile] once.

"Nima, this is too difficult!"

Ronan looked at the thick spell book, wondering if he had made a mistake somewhere in his practice, or if he hadn't mastered the real trick yet.

In fact, in this situation, it is best to find someone to guide you.

Hoddam College provides this type of service.

As long as you choose to take the [Energy Missile] spell class, there will naturally be experienced old wizards who will break down the techniques for releasing this spell and explain it thoroughly to you, saving you a lot of detours.

But Ronan doesn’t have money.

Ten low-level magic stones would literally kill him.

"It's better to practice on your own..."

Ronan sighed and continued to practice hard.

I didn’t even bother to eat lunch. I just meditated for a while when I was tired from training.

I practiced until the sun set in the west, around four o'clock in the afternoon.

"Ulubaba Qildamu!"

A series of weird and awkward syllables came out of Ronan's mouth accurately. His ten fat white fingers also matched the placement of the syllables and quickly changed into various gestures, exactly.

The moment the spells and gestures were successfully completed, Ronan felt a buzzing sound in his ears.

Immediately afterwards, a large amount of the lively and transparent mental energy in his mind was drained away.

The next second, a piece of air in front of him was distorted, and a colorful ball of light the size of a table tennis ball appeared out of thin air. With a slight change of thought, it shot out with a "whoosh" sound.

It landed on an unlucky oak tree in front, and a large ball of sawdust exploded on the trunk of the tree with a "bang" sound.

"It's done?!"

Ronan didn't react to the sudden success.

After a few seconds, a huge sense of joy and accomplishment enveloped him like a tide.

"It's done!"

Ronan rushed forward excitedly and looked at the landing point of the [Energy Missile].

A deep flaky pit remained on the oak tree as thick as a person.

"This power is greater than a shotgun!"

Ronan looked again and again, and was amazed. When he looked away, he couldn't help but feel complicated.

Wizard!

At this moment, he can be regarded as a real wizard.

He has mastered the extraordinary power that mortals can't reach.

There are also some things called confidence in his heart.

"Hu——"

After exhaling a foul breath, Ronan's heart unexpectedly became very calm.

He didn't choose to indulge in the joy of success, and continued to practice.

With the mental power that Ronan now has as a first-level wizard apprentice, it is almost exhausted after releasing two [Energy Missiles].

And the time required to release two [Energy Missiles] is only more than two minutes.

The purpose of quickly consuming mental power has also been successfully achieved, and everything seems to be slowly getting on track.

After a quick dinner, Ronan was still practicing spells as fireflies in the forest began to light up.

Somehow, ever since he successfully released the [Energy Missile] for the first time, his subsequent practice went very smoothly.

Ronan's chanting speed became faster and faster, and his gestures became smoother and smoother.

He almost never failed to cast spells, except for one time when he was mentally exhausted and his mental power fluctuated greatly, resulting in an incomplete spell.

Late at night, Ronan dragged his tired body into the tree house, and as soon as he entered the door, he lay down on the small bed and opened his character panel.
