Fendrel became embarrass, then moved aside. In the next moment, a trapdoor opened in the place where he stood earlier. After that, two children come out of that trapdoor. One boy and one girl, they were small just like a five year old child. A boy who was a bit taller than the girl stood at the front, while pointing his sword towards Fendrel.

"Who are you?!, you're not one of us?!." The boy asked Fendrel, pointing his shaky sword to Fendrel.

Fendrel didn't mind the boy's aggressiveness, instead he was looking at the sword like he found a treasure.

Fendrel put his most amiable smile, however, instead of making the childrens lighten towards him. The childrens expression become even more terrified, his protruding fang make the children terrified. As though it will going to eat them.

"Elder Brother Nathan, are we going to die?" asked the girl with a terrified expression.

The boy in the front, shake his head profusely. Before saying. "No Shana, this monster need to kill me first. Before he can kill you."

Fendrel smile froze, 'This is why I hate children.' Fendrel sighed in his mind.

"Hey boy, you should calmed down. I'm not a monster, and I'm not going to eat you ok. You know, I'm here to save you." Fendrel said, he even intentionally turn down his deep voice, just to sound sincere.

"Really Mister Monster?." Shana asked, with her innocent face.

"Of course." Fendrel reply with a smile.

"Don't be fooled by this monster!, Shana!. Remember what Father told us!, don't trust the monsters!" Nathan said, with a gritted teeth.

"You know Nathan, If I really wanted to kill both of you. I already did that earlier, since I can kill you both easily" Fendrel sit in a cross-legged position, before continuing. "So, what about you two tell me what happened, so that I can help you."

" Elder Brother , I think this mister is not a bad monster." Shana said, trying to convince his brother.

"You have a good eye little girl. That's right, I'm not a bad monster" Fendrel said.

Hearing that, Nathan become silent for a moment, clinching his fist, he said. "Why do you want to help us?!!.... Because of your kind that our village was now gone!!..." Nathan wiped the glistening tears that flowed down from his eyes, with his right arm.

"Well, to tell you the truth. I want something from your village." Fendrel said truthfully, didn't even bother to lie to the two children.

Hearing it, Nathan raised his sword again, before saying. "Then!, you are just the same as them!!." Nathan shouted at Fendrel, with hostility visible on his eyes.

"Ohh, why is that?" Fendrel asked calmly.

Seeing Fendrel's calmed demeanor, Nathan become even more angry. As though, this monster didn't take him seriously. But he didn't do anything, and can only answer with a gritted teeth.

"Because of you monsters!, that attack our village!, and kill our warriors... Those monsters even took my dad and mom!, and also all the villagers!." Nathan said. Recalling those scene, where their warriors were getting killed slowly. The enemies killing the helpless villagers. Seeing their parents luring the enemies, so that the enemies won't inspect the house. Make her youthful heart break, he became matured, and vow to himself that he will protect his younger sister.

"Ohh, so that's what happened. Then can you tell me what those enemies looked like?" Fendrel asked again.

Nathan was about to open his mouth, when he heard a voice on his back, it's her sister.

"Mister Monster, If we answer, you will really help us save our parents?." Shana asked, with his big beady eyes looking at Fendrel.

"Of course." Fendrel reply with a smile.

"Big brother, put down your sword. Can't you see, this mister is not a bad monster. 'Hum' Big brother I will get angry to you." Shana said, trying to sound angry.

Nathan was speechless, hearing his sister. 'Why do I fell like I'm the badguy here' Nathan thought with a gloomy expression. He can only put his sword back on the sheath, with a dejected look.

"Hahahaha!" seeing the two Fendrel can't help but laugh out loud.

"En, Mister!, why are you laughing?." Shana asked.

Fendrel calmed himself down, before saying. "It's nothing, It's just you two are so cute. Ohh, little girl, stop calling me mister, ok?. My name is Fendrel."

"Hi, Mister Fendrel. My name is Shana, I'm 5 years old. And this, my big brother is Nathan he is 12 years old, hehe." Shana said with a giggle.

'Aren't this girl was to bright, for someone who experience a calamity' Fendrel thought, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Well, nice meeting you Shana. What about you tell what really happened." Fendrel said.

"Ok" Shana then began to tell Fendrel what really happened.

After some time, Fendrel now really know what had happened. When he asked what race they are. Shana told him that they were a race called dwarfs. He was surprised, since the two don't look like a dwarfs at all. After thinking it carefully, Fendrel thought that its was just a given since they are only a child.

Furthermore, Nathan told him that only one week had passed, since the day they got attacked. He also found out, that the monster who attacked their village, was looked like a lizardman. From the description he got from Shana.

After all that, Fendrel invited the two children to his village. At his Nathan didn't want to leave. But Shana insisted that he will go, so he can only go with them to protect his sister.

Upon exiting the village, the two was surprised upon seeing a little piggy flying towards them. Nathan was about to draw his sword but stopped. When he heard it talking.

"Your Majesty, I'm so lonely out here." Lilly said, with a dejected look. She then landed on Fendrel's head.

"My bad, But don't worry we will going back to the village now." Fendrel said.

"En, your majesty, who are they?." Lily's asked upon seeing the two children.

"They are, Shana and Nathan. I found them in the village. We will take them with us." Fendrel said.

"Hi, I'm Lily, nice to meet you." Lily then fly towards Shana, in the next moment the two began talking, as though they were old friend.
