Chapter 1758 Expensive Prototype Car

Just when Hainan Real Estate Company began to gradually enter the second phase of the sales plan, Duan Yun took a plane and returned to Shenzhen.

The reason for doing this, on the one hand, is that the Hainan real estate company has begun to leave the site in a planned and organized manner according to the route planned by Duan Yun, and it no longer needs to sit in Hainan in person.

On the other hand, it is about Tianyin Group's participation in the bidding for China's second-generation military vehicles.

As a private enterprise, Tianyin Group has become the first private enterprise to participate in the bidding of military vehicles since the founding of the People's Republic of China. This is absolutely unprecedented, and Duan Yun himself attaches great importance to this matter.

In July last year, the Ministry of National Defense and the national ministries and commissions issued a notice to several key domestic military auto companies, and held a special bidding meeting in BJ, requiring all companies participating in the bidding to be limited before March next year. Come up with a new military vehicle design plan, and make 7~3 prototype vehicles. At that time, experts in relevant fields will be organized to conduct layer-by-layer inspection and assessment of these design plans, and then select the best indicators in all aspects. Excellent vehicles are mass-produced.

According to what Duan Yun learned from Poly, in the next 3 to 5 years, the country will gradually replace nearly 10 vehicles imported from the Soviet Union in the 60s and domestic military vehicles. This is a very large order.

In addition, compared with ordinary civilian vehicles, the requirements for various indicators of military vehicles are very high. Relatively speaking, the purchase price is much higher than that of ordinary civilian vehicles. For the super cake, which company can win the bid means that it will become the absolute overlord of Chinese auto companies in the next few years, there is no doubt about it.

In the bidding for the second-generation military vehicles, all models were divided into 2T, 0.5T, 1.5T, 3.5T and 5T, and 7T 12-ton basic vehicles, and among them, 6T heavy-duty trucks can be said to be the most important vehicles in the Chinese auto industry. Considering the current domestic introduction of the most advanced Steyr heavy-duty vehicles, it is still unable to meet the procurement requirements of the army's second-generation military vehicles.

As for other things.Medium-duty trucks and medium-heavy trucks are the cakes of Dongfeng and Jiefang, two major automotive military companies. As long as these two companies can come up with suitable solutions, Duan Yun has no chance of winning the bid.

In terms of heavy-duty trucks, the heavy-duty trucks produced by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Corporation have weak technical strength. The four most famous companies are Jinan Heavy Truck, Shaanxi Automobile Works, Sichuan Automobile Works (later SAIC-IVECO Hongyan) and Hebei. Long March Automobile Manufacturing Plant (Tatora), and the quality of the heavy trucks produced by these companies is very poor, and there is a huge gap with the international advanced truck technology, which has always been the weakness of China's truck industry.

Duan Yun has never had experience in designing and producing heavy trucks before, but he has his own advantages, that is, its R&D department has a large number of former Soviet automobile engineers, and the heavy truck production line that will be introduced from Volvo soon.

Among the nearly 500 former Soviet technical engineers currently working in China, 1/3 of the experts are engaged in the research and development of the automobile industry, and they respectively work in the Minsk Automobile Plant, Ulyanov Automobile Plant, and Ural Automobile Plant in Belarus. Gorky Automobile Plant, Frunze Automobile Assembly Plant, Lvov Gas Field and Klimini Zug Automobile Plant.

The annual output of these Soviet heavy truck companies can reach about 10 to 15 vehicles, the largest of which is the Belarusian Automobile Factory, which accounts for almost 1/3 of the heavy truck production in the Soviet Union.

Moreover, in addition to the large output of Soviet heavy trucks, the load capacity is quite amazing. The rated load capacity of all models can even reach about 20-40 tons, but the limited load capacity is far beyond this figure. Some are used for military weapons. All of them are used to transport minerals.

Among the ex-Soviet auto experts who came to China, they were basically technicians and senior engineers from the Soviet heavy-duty truck factory, and two of them were core technicians from the Minsk Automobile Factory in Belarus. They mastered certain types of heavy-duty trucks from the Soviet Union. core technology.

It is also thanks to these Soviet experts, combined with the F10 heavy truck technical data obtained from the Volvo Group earlier, that the research and development process has become very smooth. In January of the beginning of the year, a truck with a load capacity of 1 tons was designed. Heavy-duty trucks, and through Longteng's auto workshop in Shanghai, they worked overtime continuously around the clock, and finally made 18 sample cars.

Due to the lack of complete production lines and related production equipment, most of the three major assemblies and all auto parts of these five cars were processed by hand, and the steel used was ordered from Anshan Iron and Steel Works at a high price. For steel, a team of 5 Soviet metal material experts and a Chinese team went to Anshan Iron and Steel Works, and this batch of high-strength special steel was produced in accordance with the ratio and process provided by the Soviet experts, with high strength and corrosion resistance.

In addition, the frames and girders of these five trucks were also produced with the help of Jinan Heavy Machinery Factory. This manufacturer has the largest stamping machine tool in China. In order to meet the truck design standards of Soviet experts, Duan Yun spared no expense. Can successfully win the bid.

As for the gearbox gears, it was completely completed by Longteng Company. The advanced CNC machine tool Duan Yun introduced in the early years, as well as the accumulation of gearbox technology he has been working on over the years, have come into play at this moment.

The heavy-duty truck Duan Yun participated in the bidding obviously borrowed some technologies from the former Soviet trucks, especially in terms of engine and gearbox, which is an upgrade and improvement of the original classic Soviet heavy trucks.

In fact, these Soviet experts originally planned to design a new type of heavy-duty truck based on the powertrain technology of the Yaas-500 military truck produced by the Minsk Automobile Factory in Belarus, but after getting the relevant technical information of the Volvo F10 truck Afterwards, these Soviet writers made various improvements and upgrades to the original plan, so that it fully complied with the various performance requirements in the military vehicle bidding document.

After the prototype car was made, technicians conducted various tests in the new factory area in Shanghai, such as power performance, braking performance, maximum load, body anti-fatigue, climate and environment tests, etc., because they are all products after mature technology upgrades , so the 5 prototypes finally passed the test and were sent to BJ in early March.

And just yesterday, Duan Yun finally received a call from BJ, and the caller was Xu Shaoqiang. During the phone call, he told Duan Yun that he would fly to Shenzhen in the next two days, and that he would discuss this in detail at that time. It's a matter of bidding for military vehicles.
