Chapter 753 Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva

Chapter 753 Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva never expected that he, one of the four great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism, would become an abandoned child of Buddhism!

In fact, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has made great contributions to the current prosperity of Buddhism. Otherwise, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, who was born in the sea of blood, would never be revered as one of the four great bodhisattvas by Buddhism. From a Shura tribe that was hostile to Buddhism, to a Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva respected by all Buddhist disciples. No one knows how much Ksitigarbha has contributed to Buddhism! However, just from the status of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in Buddhism that is comparable to the three great Buddhas of Buddhism, we can understand the contribution of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to Buddhism.

What a pity! Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva did not understand that those who are not of the same race must have different minds.

Although Buddhism is not like the human race, which inherits bloodlines from different tribes, in the eyes of Buddhist disciples, the Shura tribe is a foreign tribe outside of Buddhism.

Therefore, although Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has made great contributions to Buddhism.

However, among the major Buddhist forces, not a single one truly accepted him!

The major branches of Buddhism, such as the orthodox Buddhism of Maitreya Buddha, the expounding Buddhism of Dipamkara Buddha, the cutting Buddha of Many Treasures Tathagata, and the demon Buddha of Vairocana Tathagata, have never accepted Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva does not belong to any lineage.

If you think about it carefully, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has a close connection with the asceticism of Western religions.

However, since the two saints of Buddhism changed Western religion to Buddhism, the ascetic lineage of Western religion has long been in seclusion in the paradise, and the ascetic Buddhists are also scattered in various branches of Buddhism. Therefore, although Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has a high status in Buddhism, he is just a lonely person without any support behind him. Naturally, Dipankara Buddha treated him as an abandoned child without scruples.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was shaking all over, his eyes were red, his eyes were full of hatred and unwillingness. Back then, in the sea of blood, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was also a Shura clan hero that was highly valued by the Styx Patriarch. The Styx Patriarch even wanted to accept him as his disciple! If Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva had not devoted himself to Buddhism, he would probably be a Shura clan great man known throughout the heavens and the worlds.

At this moment, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva couldn't tell whether he regretted joining Buddhism! However, the only peace in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's heart now was the memory of the sea of blood.

As an abandoned child, no one would care! As long as Buddhism does not support Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva will not be able to make any waves in the netherworld!

But for Dipankara Buddha, the reputation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva in Buddhism has begun to impact the status of the three great Buddhas, which Dipankara Buddha absolutely cannot tolerate.

Maitreya Buddha represents the two saints of Buddhism. Duobao Tathagata had the support of three thousand Buddhas. Dipankara Buddha had to give in to these two. However, how could Dipankara Buddha tolerate a mere Shura clan standing shoulder to shoulder with him?

Although the Buddha of Burning Lamp has great wisdom and perseverance, he definitely does not have a broad mind. Back then, during the Conferred God Tribulation, this deputy leader of the Chan Sect, who was still the Taoist of Burning Lamp, directly used the disciples of the Chan Sect to offer sacrifices. Therefore, in the eyes of the Buddha of Burning Lamp, sacrificing the interests of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is nothing at all. After all, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is still alive, isn't he?

The Buddha Rāhula ignored Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's thoughts and looked at the King of Fengdu and said, "Now that the matter here is settled, I will return to Lingshan. Buddhism is planning a great catastrophe for all living beings in heaven and earth. This is a critical time, and Lingshan still needs me to stay here."

Fengdu Emperor proposed to Buddhism that it should station troops in Yinshan Mountain and regain the sovereignty of Yinshan Mountain. Naturally, Dipankara Buddha would not suffer any loss, and proposed to Fengdu Emperor that the netherworld support Buddhism in leading the Journey to the West.

Although the Buddha Dipamkara spoke obscurely, the King of Hell could hear it.

The Emperor of Fengdu smiled and said, "The great catastrophe of heaven and earth is related to the cause and effect of all living beings that have been entangled for countless years. The Buddha cannot neglect it!" The Emperor of Fengdu's words of laughter made the Buddha Dipankara put his worries aside completely. He chuckled, bowed to the Emperor of Fengdu and the Emperor Tianqi Rensheng, stepped into the void and disappeared.

With the cultivation and status of Buddha Dipankara, Emperor Fengdu and Emperor Tianqi Rensheng could not completely ignore him. Emperor Fengdu bowed to the ripples in the void, as a return of courtesy to Buddha Dipankara. Emperor Tianqi Rensheng nodded slightly towards the void where Buddha Dipankara disappeared. With the status and cultivation of Emperor Tianqi Rensheng, there were not many people in the world who deserved his solemn return of courtesy, and it was obvious that Buddha Dipankara was not one of them.

The Buddha of Burning Lamp left the netherworld in a carefree manner, and the Great Emperor Tianqi Rensheng would naturally not stay in Yinshan any longer. He came to Yinshan to support the underworld, and now that the real master has left, why should he stay in Yinshan? However, after the Great Emperor Tianqi Rensheng stepped into the void, a voice came out in the void: "Ksitigarbha, you can come to Jiuyi Mountain when you have time in the future!"

The confused and dejected Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva suddenly heard the words of the Tianqi Rensheng Emperor. His bloodshot eyes suddenly lit up, as if a drowning man had grabbed a straw.

At this time, the Emperor of Fengdu and King Yama were also watching the Emperor Tianqi Rensheng disappear into the void thoughtfully.

As for the thoughts of the Benevolent and Holy Emperor Tianqi, the Emperor Fengdu and the King of Hell only had vague guesses. They thought that the Benevolent and Holy Emperor Tianqi was just fond of talent and wanted to win over Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

However, no matter what the Emperor Tianqi Rensheng was thinking, the Emperor Fengdu could not interfere, nor did he want to interfere. This emperor of the sub-sage realm was a terrifying existence in the netherworld second only to Hou Tu Zu Wu, so how could the Emperor Fengdu influence his thoughts? Moreover, judging from the attitude of the Emperor Tianqi Rensheng in standing up for himself today, this emperor would never harm the interests of the netherworld.

In fact, this is indeed the case.

If it were not for the intimidation of the Great Emperor Tianqi Rensheng by the Buddha Dipankara, the underworld might have confined Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to Yinshan to save the evil spirits, but it would never be possible to station troops in Yinshan to take back the sovereignty of Yinshan and remove the tentacles of Buddhism in the netherworld.

As long as the Great Emperor Tianqi Rensheng does not harm the interests of the underworld, the Great Emperor Fengdu does not care what he asks Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to do in Mount Jiuyi.

After taking a deep look at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who bowed his head and remained silent, the figure of Fengdu Emperor gradually disappeared in the Yinshan Hall.

At this time, the only two old rivals left in the entire Yinshan Hall were King Yama and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

Looking at the sad Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, King Yama sat down on the hall, waved his hand and threw out a bottle of wine, saying: "Bald donkey, this is a good wine that I have collected for dozens of Yuanhui."

Hearing the familiar name, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva raised his drooping head and looked at the imageless Ksitigarbha. After a moment of stunned silence, he smiled and said, "You barbarian are still as dishonest as you were back then."

King Yama smiled and said, "My witch clan has always been unrivaled in combat power and invincible in killing. If it weren't for the order from Hou Tu Zu Wu, I wouldn't be the King of Hell who is so annoying every day."

As he spoke, King Yama raised his hand and looked back, and instantly drank a bottle of wine.

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva looked at King Yama who was drinking happily, and a smile appeared involuntarily on the corner of his mouth. He pulled out the cork, took a deep sniff of the fine wine that he had not drunk for countless years, raised his hand and looked up, and poured the wine in the bottle into his mouth.
