5.1

The Master said: "You want to be strong too, how can you get strong?"

Zigong said: "I don't want people to do me any harm, and I also want nothing to do to others."

The Master said: "Gifts are beyond your reach."

Zigong said: "Master's articles can be obtained and heard; Master's words and nature and the way of heaven cannot be obtained but heard."

The Master said: "Be quick and eager to learn, and don't feel ashamed to ask questions from your subordinates. That's why it's called 'wen'."

Zi said to Zichan: "There are four ways of a gentleman: he is respectful in his conduct, respectful in his affairs, beneficial to the people in his support, and righteous in his service to the people."

The son said: "Loyal." Said: "Benevolence Is that enough?" Said: "I don't know, how can I get benevolence?"

"Cui Zi killed the king of Qi, Chen Wenzi had ten horses, abandoned them and violated them. As for other countries, he said: 'Cui Zi, the doctor of Juwu. Cui Zi also. 'Violation. How?"

The Master said: "Clearness." Said: "Is it benevolence?" Said: "I don't know, how can I get benevolence?"

Ji Wenzi thinks twice before acting.

The Master said: "Ning Wuzi, if a country has Dao, it will know; if a country does not have Dao, it will be stupid. It is easy to know, but it is impossible to be stupid."

The Master said: "Bo Yi and Shu Qi don't resent old evils, resentment is hope."

The Master said: "Which one is called Weisheng Gaozhi? Or begging for help, begging for his neighbors to be with him."

The Master said: "Smart words, courteous looks, and respectful feet, Zuo Qiu is ashamed of them, and Qiu is also ashamed of them. Hide resentment and make friends with others, Zuo Qiu is ashamed of them, and Qiu is also ashamed of them."

Yan Yuan and Ji Lu waited.The Master said: "Everyone speaks his mind?"

Zilu said: "May the chariots, horses and clothes be shared with friends, and we will have no regrets."

Yan Yuan said: "May there be no good deeds and no hard work."

Zilu said, "I would like to hear about your ambition!"

The Master said: "The old are comforted, the friends trust it, and the young cherish it."

The Master said: "It's almost over! I have never seen anyone who can see his fault and sue himself."

The Master said: "In a city of ten houses, there must be someone who is as loyal and trustworthy as Qiu, and he is not as good as Qiu who is eager to learn."
