Chapter 17 Prajna
Chapter 17 Prajna (2)
"Good Advisor! My Dharma door can produce [-] wisdoms from this supreme prajna wisdom. What is the reason for this? Because people in the world originally have [-] afflictions. If there are no afflictions, wisdom will always appear, and you will never leave. Self-nature. After realizing this method, it is righteousness. Don’t be obsessed with, don’t cling to, don’t develop arrogance, use your own Buddha nature, examine and observe with wisdom, and don’t cling to or give up on all things and phenomena. , to achieve Buddhahood.
"Good Advisor! If you want to study Buddhism and Prajna Samadhi in depth, you must practice Prajna, uphold and recite the "Vajna Prajna Paramita Sutra", and you will be able to understand your original mind and experience your true nature.
Original
You should know that the merits of this sutra are immeasurable and boundless. It is clearly praised in the scriptures, but it cannot be said. This method is the highest vehicle, and it is taught by people of great wisdom and people with superior abilities.Xiaogen Xiaozhi heard it, and he didn't believe it.Why?For example, when a great dragon rains down on Jambudvipa, cities and towns gather, and all of them drift away, like jujube leaves.Like the rain and the sea, neither increase nor decrease. If you are a Mahayana person, if you are a person of the highest vehicle, after hearing the Diamond Sutra, your heart will be enlightened, and you will know that your own nature has the wisdom of prajna, and you will use your own wisdom. For example, rainwater does not come from the sky, but it is originally the dragon's ability to moisten all living beings, all vegetation, sentient beings and non-sentient beings.Hundreds of rivers and rivers flow into the sea and merge into one.The wisdom of prajna in the nature of all living beings is also like this.
Good friends!People with small roots, hearing this sudden teaching, are like grass and trees with small roots. If they are hit by heavy rain, they will all collapse on their own and cannot grow. The same is true for people with small roots.Yuan has the wisdom of prajna, and is no different from a wise man. Why can't he be enlightened after hearing the Dharma?Caused by wrong views, the obstacles are heavy, and the roots of afflictions are deep, like a big cloud covering the sun, which cannot be blown by the wind, and the sun does not shine. The wisdom of prajna has no size, it is different for all sentient beings. If you are obsessed with external views, practice to seek Buddha, and have not realized your own nature, you are small roots.
Good friends! Not staying inside and outside, coming and going freely, able to get rid of attachment, accessible without hindrance.Being able to practice this line is no different from the original version of the Prajna Sutra ④.
Good friends! All Shutara and various scripts⑤, the two vehicles of size and size⑥, and the twelve divisions of scriptures⑦ can only be established because of human beings and wisdom. If there were no worldly beings, all dharmas would not exist. Therefore, we know that all dharmas are created by human beings, and all scriptures exist because of human beings.Because there are fools and wise among people, fools are villains, and wisdom is adults.A fool asks a wise man, and a wise man speaks to a fool, and the fool suddenly realizes and opens his mind, that is, he is no different from a wise man.

① Merit and Virtue: Virtue, gain, and gain from practicing merit, so it is called merit and virtue. It means the function of merit, and it is also the result of doing good deeds.
②Jambuti: Originally it refers to the land of India, but later it generally refers to the human world, which is the Saha world we live in now.Yanfu is the name of the tree.Mention means continent.

⑥ The two vehicles of size and size: one is Mahayana, and the other is Hinayana.Mahayana is the vehicle of adults, and the Hinayana is the vehicle of small people.Mahayana is the Dharma door of Bodhisattva, with the purpose of saving the world and altruism; Hinayana is the Dharma door of Shravaka, with the purpose of self-cultivation.According to the division of the scriptures in the scriptures, the scriptures of the Arhat system such as the four Aghans are the Hinayana, and the scriptures of the Bodhisattvas such as Huayan are the Mahayana.

"You must know that the merits of this sutra are immeasurable and boundless. There is admiration in the sutra, which is clearly stated, so I won't go into details here. This method is the most superior, and it is specially designed for those with great wisdom. What people say is for people with superior abilities. People with small abilities and dispositions and little wisdom hear it, but they will not believe it in their hearts. What is the reason for this? For example, the dragon king rained heavily on this world we live in. Cities and villages will all be washed away by the rain, drifting with the waves like leaves. If the heavy rain falls in the sea, the sea will not have the slightest increase or decrease in profit or loss. People with Mahayana roots, like people with the highest vehicle roots, Hearing the "Diamond Sutra" will lead to enlightenment. So we know that our nature contains prajna wisdom. We use our wisdom to examine and observe from time to time, illuminating everything without using any words. It is like rain, which is not inherent in the sky. It falls in the world, but the dragon can make clouds and rain, so that all living beings, all vegetation, sentient and non-sentimental, are moistened. All rivers return to the sea and become a whole. The prajna wisdom of the nature of all living beings is also like this.
"Good Advisor! A person with small roots, who has heard the Sudden Teachings, is like a grass with shallow roots and weak branches. Once washed by heavy rain, it will fall to the ground by itself and cannot grow again. The same is true for people with small roots. Originally possessed of prajna wisdom, which is no different from a person with great rootedness and great wisdom. Why can’t he be enlightened by himself when he hears the Dharma? It’s only because of the deep obstacles of wrong views, and the troubles are rooted too deep in the heart, as if covered by thick dark clouds. The sun cannot be blown by the wind, and the sunlight cannot appear. Prajna wisdom has no distinction between big and small, just because all sentient beings have different degrees of confusion and enlightenment in their hearts. Foolish people only see outside their minds, Seeking the Dharma from the outside, struggling to find the Buddha's way, but not realizing the true nature of oneself, this is a person with small roots and small nature. If you suddenly realize the Dharma door, you don't need to practice outside your mind, as long as the correct view always arises in your own heart, all afflictions cannot be infiltrated, this is a person Know your own nature.
"Good Advisor! You can't be attached to the internal and external environment, you can come and go freely. If you can get rid of the attachment, you will be able to understand without hindrance. If you can practice like this, the state you reach will be no different from what is said in the "Prajna Sutra." .
"Good Advisor! All scriptures and writings, the Mahayana and Hinayana scriptures, and the twelve scriptures are all set up because of people. Because people have the nature of wisdom, Buddhism can be established. If there are no people in the world, all things and phenomena will also be created. From this we can see that all things and phenomena are originally created by people, and all scriptures and Buddhist scriptures exist because of people’s teachings, and are designed for people. Because there are foolish people in the world, there are also wise people. Yes, those who are foolish are those with small abilities, and those who are wise are those with great abilities. The foolish people ask the wise people for advice, and the wise people teach the foolish people the Dharma, and the foolish people suddenly become enlightened. His realm is no different from that of a wise person.

Good friends! If you don't realize it, the Buddha is all living beings; when you realize it once, all living beings are Buddhas. Therefore, knowing that all dharmas are all in one's own mind, why not see the true nature from one's own mind?
The Bodhisattva Precepts Sutra says ①: My original nature is pure, if I know my own mind and see my nature, I will become a Buddha. The Jingming Sutra says ②: Immediately suddenly, you can still get your original mind.
Good friends! When I was with the monk Ren, I realized it as soon as I heard the words, and I suddenly saw the true nature. Therefore, this teaching method is popularized, so that students who learn the Tao suddenly realize Bodhi, observe their own minds, and see their own nature. If you don’t realize it yourself, you must find a good teacher, who understands the highest vehicle dharma, and shows you the right path.It is a good teacher who has a great cause and condition ④, the so-called transformation leads to the ability to see one's nature. All virtuous dharmas ⑤ are initiated by virtuous teachers. The Buddhas of the third age and the twelve scriptures are inherent in human nature, and they cannot be realized by themselves. They must seek good teachers and guide them to see them.If one is self-enlightened, one does not seek externally. If you always insist that you need other good teachers to be liberated, it is useless. Why?There is knowledge and self-realization in the heart. If there is an evil delusion, and the delusional thoughts are upside down⑥, although there are teachings from external good teachers, they cannot be saved. If you have true prajna contemplation, in an instant, all delusions will disappear. If you recognize your own nature, you will reach the Buddha's land as soon as you realize it.
Good friends!Wisdom contemplates, inside and outside is clear, knowing the original mind.If you know your original mind, you will be liberated. If liberated, that is Prajna Samadhi, that is no thought. What is Wu Nian?If you see all dharmas, the mind is not defiled, it is no thought. It can be used everywhere, and it can't be used everywhere. But to purify the original mind, make the six consciousnesses go out of the six gates ⑧, without contamination and miscellaneous ⑨ in the six dusts, come and go freely, universal without stagnation, that is, prajna samadhi, free and free, called the practice of no thought. If you don't think about everything, you should stop thinking about it, that is to say, it is bound by the law, and it is called side view⑩.

④ Cause and fate: It is called both cause and fate. The cause refers to the direct internal cause of the result.Fate refers to the indirect cause of help from outside. When everything comes into existence, its own factors are called causes, and the auxiliary factors are called conditions. For example, for rice, the seed is the cause, and the soil, rain, air, sunlight, fertilizer, etc. are the conditions, and the combination of various causes and conditions allows the millet to grow.
⑤ Good law: It is the symmetry of "evil law", which refers to all the principles that are in line with "good", that is, the five precepts, the ten good things, the three learning, and the six perfections.

If you can stay away, you will enter the state of enlightenment.
