World Honored One, if someone hears such a sutra and can generate pure confidence, that is, he can realize the truth of all dharmas, he should know that this person has achieved the most extraordinary. Rare and rare merit. World Honored One, this truth is not the real truth, so the Tathagata Buddha said it is falsely called the truth. World Honored One, I can personally hear the Buddha's lecture on this scripture today, understand its meaning and accept it. This sutra is not rare. If in the last 500 years of later generations, there are sentient beings who have heard the subtle meaning of this sutra and can believe, accept and uphold it, then this person is very rare. Why? Therefore, Subhuti , Bodhisattvas should abandon all appearances and generate the bodhicitta of supreme enlightenment. They should not be attached to color dust to generate mind, and should not be attached to sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma to generate mind. If you have attachments in your heart, you will not be able to give birth to your mind without attachment. Therefore, the Buddha said that the mind of a bodhisattva should not be attached to forms and give alms. Subhuti, for the benefit of all All sentient beings should be given in this way. Subhuti, if a bodhisattva gives with his heart attached to the appearance of the Dharma, it will be like a person entering darkness and cannot see anything. If a Bodhisattva gives alms without being attached to the appearance of the Dharma in his heart, it is as if a person has two eyes and can see nothing in the sunlight. "Subhuti, in the future, if there are virtuous men and virtuous women who believe in, practice, recite, accept and uphold this sutra, the Tathagata will be able to know and see such people with the Buddha's unobstructed wisdom. Human beings must be able to achieve immeasurable, boundless and endless merit.”

"Subhuti, in a nutshell, this sutra has inconceivable, immeasurable, and boundless virtues. The Tathagata originally said it for those who have developed the mind of the Mahayana Bodhisattva, and for all living beings who have developed the highest Buddha Vehicle. "Subhuti, if there are good men and good women who can receive, uphold, recite and recite this sutra in the future, if I describe the merits and virtues they have obtained in detail, some people may become flustered and suspicious after hearing it. Believe it. Subhuti, you should understand that the content and meaning of this sutra are inconceivable, and the results obtained are also inconceivable."

The Buddha said: "So it is. Subhuti, there is really no Dharma Tathagata who can attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi. Subhuti, if there is a Dharma Tathagata who can attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi, then Lantern Buddha will not give me Prophecy①, you will be a Buddha in the next life, named Sakyamuni②. There is no way to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, so the Lantern Buddha gave me a prophecy. In the next life, you will become a Buddha, named Sakyamuni. Why? The Tathagata, that is, all dharmas are righteous. If someone says that the Tathagata has attained Anuttara-samyaksambodhi and Subhuti, there is really no way for the Buddha to attain Anuttara Luo Sanliu San Bodhi.

If there is another person who hears this scripture and develops unrelenting confidence, the merit he will gain is better than the aforementioned person who gave with his body and life, not to mention copying the scriptures, Believe and practice, read and recite, and explain to others!
"Subhuti, in a nutshell, this sutra has inconceivable, immeasurable, and boundless virtues. The Tathagata originally said it for those who have developed the mind of the Mahayana Bodhisattva, and for all living beings who have developed the highest Buddha Vehicle. If someone can believe and accept Practice, read and recite, and spread widely to others. The Tathagata can know this person and see this person. He will surely achieve immeasurable, immeasurable, boundless, and inconceivable merit. Such a person can bear it The family property of Tathagata Supreme Righteous Enlightenment. Why? Subhuti, people who are generally happy with Theravada Dharma will cling to the appearance of self, appearance of others, appearance of sentient beings, and appearance of life. "Subhuti, whenever and wherever there is this sutra, all gods, human beings, and asuras in the world should make offerings here devoutly. You should know that the place where this sutra is located is equal to the place where the stupa is, and you should respect it. "Subhuti, I think of the countless and endless kalpas in the past, when I met eight hundred and forty million nayuta Buddhas in front of the Lantern Buddha, and I made offerings to them all, without missing a single one. In the future, if he can receive, uphold, read and recite this sutra, the merits he will gain will be less than one percent, one tenth of a billionth, or even numbers and metaphors. One infinity.
"Subhuti, if there are good men and good women who can receive, uphold, recite and recite this sutra in the future, if I describe the merits and virtues they have obtained in detail, some people may become flustered and suspicious after hearing it. Believe it. Subhuti, you should understand that the content and meaning of this sutra are inconceivable, and the results obtained are also inconceivable."

I have already saved all sentient beings, and there is no one who has actually passed away. Why? Therefore? Subhuti, if a bodhisattva has the image of self, person, sentient beings, and life, he is not a bodhisattva. So what? Subhuti, there is really no way to arouse the mind of anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. Subhuti, in What do you mean? Does the Tathagata come from the place of Ran Deng Buddha, have a way to attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi?"
"No, World Honored One. As I understand the meaning of what the Buddha said, there is no way for the Buddha to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi in the presence of the Randeng Buddha.
The Buddha said: "So it is. Subhuti, there is really no Dharma Tathagata who can attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi. Subhuti, if there is a Dharma Tathagata who can attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi, then Lantern Buddha will not give me Prophecy①, you will be a Buddha in the next life, named Sakyamuni②. There is no way to attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, so the Lantern Buddha gave me a prophecy. In the next life, you will become a Buddha, named Sakyamuni. Why? The Tathagata, that is, all dharmas are righteous. If someone says that the Tathagata has attained Anuttara-samyaksambodhi and Subhuti, there is really no way for the Buddha to attain Anuttara Luo Sanliu San Bodhi.
