"Subhuti, the Tathagata has obtained anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, so there is nothing real and nothing in it. Therefore, the Tathagata said that all dharmas are Buddha dharma. Subhuti, what he said is all dharmas is not all dharmas, so it is called everything. Dharma. Subhuti, it is like growing up in human body."
Subhuti said: "World Honored One, the Tathagata said that when a human body grows up, it is not a great body, but it is called a great body."
"Subhuti, the Bodhisattva is the same. If I say so, I will destroy countless sentient beings, and I will not be called a Bodhisattva. Why? Subhuti, there is really no Dharma called a Bodhisattva. Therefore, the Buddha said that all dharmas have no self and no one. , There are no sentient beings, and no life. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva speaks this way, I should adorn the Buddhaland③, but I am not a Bodhisattva. Why? The Tathagata said that adornment of the Buddhaland is not adornment, but adornment. Subhuti, If a Bodhisattva understands the Dharma of Selflessness, the Tathagata says that he is truly a Bodhisattva."

At this time, Subhuti asked the Buddha for instructions: "World Honored One, good men and good women have set their minds to seek supreme enlightenment, how should their minds be settled? How should their deluded minds be subdued?"
The Buddha told Subhuti: "Among good men and good women, those who seek the supreme enlightenment should have such an aspiration. I should save all sentient beings. A sentient being is liberated. Why? Subhuti, if a bodhisattva clings to the appearance of the self, the appearance of others, the appearance of sentient beings, and the appearance of life, he is not a true bodhisattva. Why is this? Subhuti, in fact There is no such thing as a dharma called seeking the unsurpassed, right, and right enlightenment. Subhuti, what do you think? Did the Tathagata obtain a kind of dharma called the supreme, right, and right enlightenment from Randi Buddha?"
Subhuti replied: "No, World Honored One. According to my understanding of the Buddha's teachings, there is no Dharma that the Buddha can obtain supreme enlightenment from Lantern Buddha.
The Buddha replied: "This is the case, this is the case. Subhuti, there is actually no Dharma that can make the Tathagata obtain the supreme and perfect enlightenment. The Buddha would not give me a prophecy: You will become a Buddha in the next life, named Sakyamuni. It is precisely because there is no Buddhist law that enables the Tathagata to obtain the supreme enlightenment, so the Lantern Buddha will prophesy for me, and in this way Said: You will become a Buddha in the next life, named Sakyamuni. Why? The so-called Tathagata is the original meaning of all dharmas. Fruition, Subhuti, there is actually no Dharma that enables the Buddha to attain supreme enlightenment.
"Subhuti, the supreme and perfect enlightenment attained by the Tathagata is neither reality nor emptiness. Therefore, the Tathagata says that all dharmas are Buddha dharmas. Subhuti, all dharmas mentioned are not All dharmas, that’s why they are called all dharmas. Subhuti, for example, a person’s body is tall and tall.”
Subhuti replied: "World Honored One, the Tathagata said that people are tall and tall, but in fact they are not real tall and tall, but a false name of tall and tall."
The Buddha said: "Subhuti, the same is true for Bodhisattvas. If a Bodhisattva says: I should save countless sentient beings, I cannot be called a Bodhisattva. Why? Subhuti, there is actually no Dharma named Bodhisattva. Therefore, the Buddha said that all dharmas There is no appearance of self, appearance of others, appearance of living beings, appearance of life span. Subhuti, if a bodhisattva says: I should be a pure and adorned Buddha land, I cannot be called a bodhisattva. Why? The Tathagata said that the pure and adorned Buddha Soil is not pure adornment, but pure adornment in a false name. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva can penetrate the truth of selflessness, the Tathagata will say that he is a true Bodhisattva."

"Subhuti, what do you think? Like all the sand in the Ganges River, did the Buddha say it was sand?"
"So, World Honored One, the Tathagata speaks of sand."
"Subhuti, what do you think? There are as many Ganges rivers as there are sands in one Ganges river, and there are as many Buddha worlds as there are sands in Ganges rivers. Wouldn't that be more?"
"Many, World Honored One."
The Buddha told Subhuti: "All the living beings in your land, the Tathagata knows all kinds of minds[-]. Why? The Tathagata said that all minds are non-minds, which are called minds. What is the reason? Subhuti, in the past, minds were not available. You can’t get what you want now, and you can’t get what you want in the future.”

③His eyes: one of the five eyes.Refers to the eye of wisdom. The two vehicle sages see the wisdom of equality and emptiness of all dharmas, so they are called wisdom eyes. Because they see the truth of all dharmas, they can save sentient beings to the other side.But the wisdom eye has wisdom but no compassion due to the fault of knowledge. Although it is better than the sky eye, it is still not as good as the Dharma eye, which can use both compassion and wisdom.
④Fayan: It is one of the five eyes.Refers to the wisdom eye that sees the reality of all dharmas and understands the universal truth.In order to adapt to the opportunity and save all living beings, the Bodhisattva observes all dharmas with pure Dharma eyes and knows the convenient door of all living beings, so he can make all living beings practice and prove the Tao.
⑤Buddha's eye: one of the five eyes.It refers to the eyes of the Buddhas who illuminate the reality of all dharmas, and look at the living beings with compassion.The name of the Buddha is the Enlightened One, and the eyes of the Enlightened One are called the Buddha's eyes, which are the eyes that can see the reality of all dharmas.All Buddhas also have the functions of the four eyes of flesh, heaven, wisdom, and law at the same time, so they can see everything, know nothing or hear everything, and see everything.
⑥Several kinds of hearts: refers to the classification of "hearts" according to various situations, such as sincerity, delusion, greed, infatuation, hatred, etc.The heart is also the method of the mind and the things of the mind.Generally refers to all spiritual phenomena, that is, what is commonly referred to as heart, mind, and consciousness.Regarding the existence of mind and matter, Buddhism advocates that mind and matter are in a complementary relationship, neither of which can exist alone, so it is said that form and mind are not dual.

The Buddha asked: "Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have physical eyes?"
Subhuti replied, "Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has physical eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have divine eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has divine eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have wisdom eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has wisdom eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have Dharma eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has Dharma eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have Buddha eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has Buddha eyes."
The Buddha asked again: "Subhuti, what do you think? Like all the grains of sand in the Ganges River, did the Buddha say that all the grains of sand are sand?"
Subhuti replied, "Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata said it was sand."
The Buddha continued to ask: "Subhuti, what do you think? For example, all the grains of sand in a Ganges River, each grain of sand is a Ganges River, and all the sand in so many Ganges Rivers is a Buddha field. Are there many of them? Woolen cloth?"
Subhuti replied, "Many, World Honored One."
The Buddha told Subhuti: "All the sentient beings in so many lands where you are, the Tathagata is fully aware of all the different thoughts. Why? The various hearts that the Tathagata said are not real hearts, but just false names. For the mind. Why do you say this? Subhuti, the mind of the past is unobtainable, the mind of the present is also unobtainable, and the mind of the future is equally unobtainable."

"Subhuti, what do you think? If there is a person who is full of the seven treasures of the three thousand great thousand worlds and uses them as alms, will he be blessed by the karma?"
"So, World Honored One, this person has received great blessings due to his causes and conditions."
"Subhuti, if the merits are true, the Tathagata will not say that the merits will be great. If the merits are not for a reason, the Tathagata will gain more merits."

The Buddha said again: "Subhuti, if the merits were real, the Tathagata would not have said that he would have gained a lot of merit. Because there is no real merit, the Tathagata would have said that he would have gained a lot of merit."

"No, World Honored One, the Tathagata should not see with the full body. Why? The Tathagata said that the full body, that is, the non-full body, is called the full body."

"No, World Honored One. The Tathagata should not see each other with completeness. Why? The Tathagata said that all appearances are complete or not. This is called the appearance of all appearances."

Subhuti replied: "No, World Honored One. The Tathagata cannot witness the complete and solemn body. Why? The perfect body and shape mentioned by the Tathagata is not the real and unchanging body and shape, but a false name. body."
The Buddha then asked again: "Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Tathagata witness according to all the perfect and wonderful appearances he possesses?"
Subhuti replied, "No, World Honored One. The Tathagata cannot witness all kinds of perfect and wonderful appearances. Why? Because the perfect appearances mentioned by the Tathagata are not real appearances, but just false names."

"Subhuti, don't say that the Tathagata is doing right thoughts. I should say something, and don't make right thoughts. What is the reason? If people say that the Tathagata has taught something, it is slandering the Buddha, and they cannot understand what I said. Subhuti, those who speak the Dharma It’s impossible to say, it’s a famous saying.”
At that time, Wisdom-Oriented Subhuti said to the Buddha: "World Honored One, there are quite a few sentient beings who will hear the teachings in the future and have faith?"
The Buddha said: "Subhuti, those are neither sentient beings nor non-sentient beings. Why? Subhuti, those who are sentient beings are called sentient beings by the Tathagata."

At this time, Subhuti, who was perfect in morality and wisdom, immediately asked the Buddha: "World Honored One, if there are sentient beings in the future who hear the Dharma you speak, will they be able to develop faith?"
The Buddha replied: "Subhuti, they are neither sentient beings, nor are they non-sentient beings. Why? Subhuti, sentient beings are called sentient beings. The Tathagata said that they are not real sentient beings, but false names of sentient beings."

The Buddha said, "That's right, that's right. Subhuti, I don't even have a little Dharma to obtain the Buddha's wisdom of supreme enlightenment. I just call it the supreme enlightenment."

⑤Buddha's eye: one of the five eyes.It refers to the eyes of the Buddhas who illuminate the reality of all dharmas, and look at the living beings with compassion.The name of the Buddha is the Enlightened One, and the eyes of the Enlightened One are called the Buddha's eyes, which are the eyes that can see the reality of all dharmas.All Buddhas also have the functions of the four eyes of flesh, heaven, wisdom, and law at the same time, so they can see everything, know nothing or hear everything, and see everything.
⑥Several kinds of hearts: refers to the classification of "hearts" according to various situations, such as sincerity, delusion, greed, infatuation, hatred, etc.The heart is also the method of the mind and the things of the mind.Generally refers to all spiritual phenomena, that is, what is commonly referred to as heart, mind, and consciousness.Regarding the existence of mind and matter, Buddhism advocates that mind and matter are in a complementary relationship, neither of which can exist alone, so it is said that form and mind are not dual.

The Buddha asked: "Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have physical eyes?"
Subhuti replied, "Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has physical eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have divine eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has divine eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have wisdom eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has wisdom eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have Dharma eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has Dharma eyes."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Does the Tathagata have Buddha eyes?"
"Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata has Buddha eyes."
The Buddha asked again: "Subhuti, what do you think? Like all the grains of sand in the Ganges River, did the Buddha say that all the grains of sand are sand?"
Subhuti replied, "Yes, World Honored One, the Tathagata said it was sand."
The Buddha continued to ask: "Subhuti, what do you think? For example, all the grains of sand in a Ganges River, each grain of sand is a Ganges River, and all the sand in so many Ganges Rivers is a Buddha field. Are there many of them? Woolen cloth?"
Subhuti replied, "Many, World Honored One."
The Buddha told Subhuti: "All the sentient beings in so many lands where you are, the Tathagata is fully aware of all the different thoughts. Why? The various hearts that the Tathagata said are not real hearts, but just false names. For the mind. Why do you say this? Subhuti, the mind of the past is unobtainable, the mind of the present is also unobtainable, and the mind of the future is equally unobtainable."

"Subhuti, what do you think? If there is a person who is full of the seven treasures of the three thousand great thousand worlds and uses them as alms, will he be blessed by the karma?"
"So, World Honored One, this person has received great blessings due to his causes and conditions."
"Subhuti, if the merits are true, the Tathagata will not say that the merits will be great. If the merits are not for a reason, the Tathagata will gain more merits."

Subhuti replied, "Yes, World Honored One. This person has received many blessings because of the cause and condition of giving."
The Buddha said again: "Subhuti, if the merits were real, the Tathagata would not have said that he would have gained a lot of merit. Because there is no real merit, the Tathagata would have said that he would have gained a lot of merit."

"No, World Honored One, the Tathagata should not see with the full body. Why? The Tathagata said that the full body, that is, the non-full body, is called the full body."
"Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Tathagata be complete in all aspects?"
"No, World Honored One. The Tathagata should not see each other with completeness. Why? The Tathagata said that all appearances are complete or not. This is called the appearance of all appearances."

Subhuti replied: "No, World Honored One. The Tathagata cannot witness the complete and solemn body. Why? The perfect body and shape mentioned by the Tathagata is not the real and unchanging body and shape, but a false name. body."
The Buddha then asked again: "Subhuti, what do you think? Can the Tathagata witness according to all the perfect and wonderful appearances he possesses?"
Subhuti replied, "No, World Honored One. The Tathagata cannot witness all kinds of perfect and wonderful appearances. Why? Because the perfect appearances mentioned by the Tathagata are not real appearances, but just false names."

"Subhuti, don't say that the Tathagata is doing right thoughts. I should say something, and don't make right thoughts. What is the reason? If people say that the Tathagata has taught something, it is slandering the Buddha, and they cannot understand what I said. Subhuti, those who speak the Dharma It’s impossible to say, it’s a famous saying.”
At that time, Wisdom-Oriented Subhuti said to the Buddha: "World Honored One, there are quite a few sentient beings who will hear the teachings in the future and have faith?"
The Buddha said: "Subhuti, those are neither sentient beings nor non-sentient beings. Why? Subhuti, those who are sentient beings are called sentient beings by the Tathagata."

At this time, Subhuti, who was perfect in morality and wisdom, immediately asked the Buddha: "World Honored One, if there are sentient beings in the future who hear the Dharma you speak, will they be able to develop faith?"
The Buddha replied: "Subhuti, they are neither sentient beings, nor are they non-sentient beings. Why? Subhuti, sentient beings are called sentient beings. The Tathagata said that they are not real sentient beings, but false names of sentient beings."

Subhuti said to the Buddha: "World Honored One, the Buddha attained Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, but did he gain nothing?"
The Buddha said: "So it is. Subhuti, I am in Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi, and even there is no less dharma to be obtained. It is called Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi."

Subhuti asked the Buddha: "World Honored One, does the Buddha have attained the unsurpassed enlightenment Buddha wisdom, does that mean he has not attained the correct enlightenment Buddha wisdom?"
The Buddha said, "That's right, that's right. Subhuti, I don't even have a little Dharma to obtain the Buddha's wisdom of supreme enlightenment. I just call it the supreme enlightenment."

"Furthermore, Subhuti, the Dharma is equal and has no superiority or inferiority. It is called Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi. If you practice all good dharmas with no self, no human beings, no sentient beings, and no life, you will attain Anuttara. Luosamyaksambodhi. Subhuti, what the Tathagata speaks of as good dharmas is not a good dharma, it is called a good dharma."
