Sanci mushroom see "Supplements to Materia Medica".It is the pseudobulb of Pleionebulbocodioides (Franch.) Rolfe, Rhododendron orchid Cremastra variabilis (BL.) Nakai, a perennial herb of Orchidaceae.It is mainly produced in central and southern China.

[Synonyms] Shancigu, Zhugu, Maogu, Mao Cigu.
