【Efficacy and application】Replenishing the kidney and supporting yang: It is used for impotence due to kidney deficiency in men, infertility due to cold uterus in women, cold pain in the lower abdomen, urinary incontinence or frequent urination due to irregular menstruation and deficiency and cold in the lower energizer.To treat impotence and cold palace, it can be used with rehmannia glutinosa, cinnamon, and psoralen; to treat urinary incontinence, it is often combined with raspberry, yam, and Yizhiren.Dispelling cold and dampness, strengthening muscles and bones: For wind-cold pain in the waist and knees, combined with deficiency of kidney yang, it is often used together with Eucommia ulmoides, Cuscutae, and Cuscuta, such as Jingang Wan ("Zhang's Yitong").

【Efficacy and application】Astringing and hemostasis: used for hemoptysis, vomiting blood, decocted in water with a single flavor, or stewed pig lungs; used for blood in the stool, metrorrhagia, often decocted with ramie root.Urinary reduction and stop belt: For enuresis and frequent urination, use stewed pig urine alone; for leukorrhea, it can be used equally with Angelica dahurica.Dispelling dampness and treating numbness: used for rheumatic arthralgia, soaked in wine alone, or decocted together with Clematis and Niu Ma Teng.In addition, decoction alone can also treat dysentery; its leaves can be ground into powder and applied or decocted for washing, which can cure sores, furuncles, and swelling; used together with fennel, evodia, and orange core, it can cure hernia and abdominal pain.
