【Efficacy and Application】Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis: For bruises, the root is used alone, dried and ground into powder for oral administration, and fresh root and a little distiller's grains are taken, mashed and applied externally.Removing blood stasis and stopping bleeding: used for vomiting blood, hematuria, traumatic bleeding.To treat hematemesis, it can be decocted with bristle grass, see serum, imperina root, and palm tree root in water; to treat hematuria, it can be used together with black leek root and plantain; to treat traumatic bleeding, it can be ground into powder and applied to the wound.Diuresis and dampness removal: used for edema and difficulty in urination, can be used with plantain and Tongcao; used for rheumatic arthralgia, single use, decocted with water and wine, or fresh root and a little distiller's grains, smashed for external application.Detoxification and detumescence: used for sores, carbuncles, venomous snake bites, can be smashed and applied.

【Efficacy and application】clearing heat and dampness: used for damp-heat dysentery, diarrhea, edema, and eczema.To treat diarrhea, it can be decocted with water alone; to treat damp-heat edema, it is often used with Yin Chen; to treat skin eczema, it can be decocted with Fengchuange, Gangbangui, and Jingucao for external washing.Dispelling blood stasis and relieving pain: For carbuncle sores and swollen toxins, salt and rice grains are often mashed and applied externally.Hemostasis and granulation promoting: used for wound bleeding, ulcers are not restrained, often smashed and wrapped on the wound alone.

Modern commonly used in bacillary dysentery, acute gastroenteritis, traumatic bleeding, bruises, skin eczema, viral hepatitis, mumps, etc.

[Modern research] The branches and leaves of this product contain j3-sitosterol, stigmasterol and mixed saponins.The sugars in saponins are mainly glucose and glucuronic acid.

For water amaranth, see "Hunan Drug Records".It is the whole herb of Ammannia baccifera L., a 1-year-old herbaceous plant of the family Amaranthaceae.Distributed in South China, Yunnan to the Qinling Mountains.

[Synonym] Water willow, small-leaf water tuanhua, sand gold, water golden bell, small-leaf water bayberry.

【Efficacy and application】clearing heat and dampness: used for damp-heat diarrhea, decocted in water as tea.Purging fire and detoxifying: used for wind-fire toothache, can be decocted for gargling, or smashed together with a little salt, and stuffed in tooth larvae.In addition, its leaves and flowers are mashed and applied externally to treat traumatic bleeding.

Modern commonly used in bacillary dysentery, enteritis, skin eczema, traumatic bleeding, vaginal trichomoniasis and so on.To treat eczema, it can be mixed with triangle bubble, grasshopper, and bitter gall, and decocted to wash the affected area; to treat traumatic bleeding, it can be smashed and applied externally; to treat vaginal trichomoniasis, it can be made into 20% liquid extract and applied to the vagina.

【Modern Research】Contains pectin, tannin, ursolic acid, etc.It has inhibitory effect on the autonomous rhythmic movement of intestinal smooth muscle, and has inhibitory effect on Staphylococcus aureus, beta-hemolytic streptococcus, Trichomonas vaginalis, Shigella, and cervical cancer cells.

【Efficacy and application】clearing heat and detoxifying: for cold and sore throat, decocted with water alone; for carbuncle sores, fresh products and fresh dandelion can be smashed and applied together.Promoting blood circulation and stopping bleeding: For irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea, it can be decocted together with motherwort and angelica; for bruises, it can be ground into powder alone and taken with rice wine, or mixed with gorse root, elderberry, and Luode 15g each, and decocted in water Take it; for hemoptysis and hemoptysis, it can be decocted with lotus root and agrimony.

[Synonyms] wild impatiens, water impatiens, white hot grass.

[meridian distribution of property and flavor] pungent, sweet, warm.Return liver, spleen, stomach warp.

【Efficacy and application】Promoting blood circulation and regulating menstruation: for irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, and amenorrhea, it can be used equally with motherwort; for bruises, it can be compatible with angelica, red peony root, frankincense, etc.Expelling wind and dampness: used for arthralgia due to wind-dampness, often combined with Sperantosporum, Fangfeng, Angelica dahurica, etc., taken orally, or decocted to wash the affected area.In addition, decocting water for fumigation and washing, or smashing fresh products for external application can also treat eczema of the scrotum.

In modern times, it is often used for irregular menstruation, bruises, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema of the scrotum, etc.

[Synonyms] Tripod grass, golden button, night moss grass, cross grass, ginger cordyceps, Sanhan grass, Shuixiangfu, golden cow grass, a grain of snow.

【Efficacy and Application】Shu Feng Jie Biao: Used for cold, fever, sore throat, decocted with water alone, or used together with Tanabe chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, and Vitex radix.Clearing away heat and dampness: for damp-heat jaundice, used alone, or together with mao berry root and stinky peony root; for dysuria and cloudy urine, it can be used with longan or black date 60g each, decocted in water instead of tea.Promoting blood circulation and stopping bleeding: for bruises, take soaked wine alone, or decoct half and half of water and wine; for wound bleeding, fresh grass can be smashed and applied to the affected area; for sores and swollen toxins, it can be smashed with plantain root and applied to the affected area ; For snake bites, it can be smashed with realgar and garlic seeds and applied to the affected area; for aphtha of the mouth and tongue, just use the roots and stems to decoct in water, and drink in honey.
