26. Belt pulse* (Dàimài)

[name] belt, clothing belt; pulse, meridians.The belt vessel surrounds the waist for a week, shaped like a belt, and has the function of restricting various meridians. This point is where the belt vessel passes, and it is also mainly used for treating diseases of the belt vessel and women's meridians, so it is called.

[Location] No.11 rib end directly below the umbilical cord.

[Indications] ① Abdominal pain; ② Amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, leukorrhea, hernia; ③ Lumbago and hypochondriac pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat adnexitis, endometritis, pelvic inflammatory disease, herpes zoster, etc.

27. Wushu (Wǔshū)

[Name] Five, Tongwu, which means to communicate; pivot, pivot.The meridians here are criss-crossing, and the cave lives in the place where the hip is transferred, hence the name.

[Location] On the flank, in front of the anterior superior iliac spine, about 3 cun below the level of the navel.

[Indications] ①Abdominal pain, constipation; ②Hernia, vaginal discharge, vaginal stiffness, irregular menstruation.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat adnexitis, endometritis, uterine prolapse, etc.

28. Wéidào

[Name] Dimension, connection; Tao, road.The acupoint belongs to the Gallbladder Meridian, which is where the Gallbladder Meridian and the Daimai meet, hence the name.

[Location] Anterior and inferior to the anterior superior iliac spine, 0.5 cun anterior and inferior to Wushu point.

【Indications】①Pain in the waist and buttocks, lower abdominal pain;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Needle straight or obliquely 1-1.5 inches forward and downward; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat endometritis, adnexitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine prolapse, chronic appendicitis, etc.

29. Juliao (jūliáo)

[Name] Habitat, dwelling place, iliac area, and the pores on the side of the phalanx.The point is in the depression of the hip joint, hence the name.

[Location] The midpoint of the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the high point of the greater trochanter of the femur.

[Indications] ① low back pain, lower limb flaccidity, paralysis; ② hernia.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of lumbosacral hip and surrounding soft tissue diseases in modern times.

30. Ring Jump* (Huántiào)

[name] ring, ring song; jump, jump.When the lower limbs bend the knees and hips to make a circle, or when jumping, the heels can touch this point.Pointing to the body position of this point and its ability to cure leg diseases that are difficult to jump, hence the name.

[Location] The junction of the lateral 1/3 and medial 2/3 of the line connecting the high point of the greater trochanter and the sacral hiatus.

[Indications] ① lower limb flaccidity, lumbago, hemiplegia, knee and ankle swelling and pain that cannot turn sideways; ② rubella all over the body.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 2-3 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat sciatica, paralysis of the lower limbs, lumbosacral hip joint and surrounding soft tissue diseases, etc.

31. Wind City* (Fēnɡshì)

[Name] city, bazaar, assembly; wind, wind evil.This point is mainly used to treat lower limb wind numbness and hemiplegia due to stroke. It is the wife point for dispelling wind, hence the name.

[Location] In the middle of the outer thigh, 7 cun on the horizontal line of the popliteal crease.

[Simple acupoint selection method] When the patient is upright, place the hand down on the outside of the leg, and the acupoint is under the tip of the middle finger.

[Indications] ① lower limb flaccidity, numbness, hemiplegia due to apoplexy; ② pruritus all over the body; ③ beriberi.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-2 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of lower limb paralysis, lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis, and urticaria in modern times.

32. Zhongdu (Zhōnɡdú)

[Name] The narrow water channel is called du, and the point is between the tendons on the lateral side of the thigh, where it is sunken like a ditch, hence the name.

[Location] 2 inches below Fengshi point, between the vastus lateralis muscle and the biceps femoris.

[Indications] Lower limb paralysis, numbness, hemiplegia.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-2 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is often used in the treatment of lower limb paralysis in modern times.

33. Knee Yang Pass (Xīyánɡɡuān)

[Name] Guan, organ, refers to the knee joint.The point is on the outside of the knee joint, hence the name.

[Location] 3 cun above Yanglingquan point, in the depression above the lateral epicondyle of the femur.

[Indications] Knee rouge swelling, pain, convulsion, numbness of calf.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is often used in the treatment of knee joint disease and paralysis of the lower limbs in modern times.

34. Yanglingquan* (Yánɡlínɡquán) He acupoint;

【Name】Yang, lateral surface; Mausoleum, high place, equivalent to the small head of the fibula; Quan, small depression in front and bottom of the small head of the fibula; hence the name.

[Location] In the depression anterior and inferior to the capitulum of the fibula.

[Indications] ① hypochondriac pain, bitter mouth, jaundice, vomiting; ② paralysis of lower limbs, hemiplegia, knee swelling and pain, beriberi; ③ infantile convulsions, tetanus.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis, sciatica, paralysis of the lower limbs, knee joint disease, periarthritis of the shoulder, intercostal neuralgia, and chorea in children.

35. Yangjiao (Yánɡjiāo) Yangwei Meridian Point
[Name] This point is the meeting point of the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot Shaoyang and Yangwei.The stomach meridian goes before, the bladder meridian goes after, and the gallbladder meridian goes between the two meridians, hence the name.

[Location] 7 inches above the high point of the lateral malleolus, on the posterior border of the fibula.

[Indications] ① fullness in the chest and hypochondrium; ② atrophy of the lower limbs; ③ madness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat peroneal nerve palsy, intercostal neuralgia, mental illness, etc.

36. Wàiqiū (Wàiqiū) Qi point

[Name] The hill rises as a mound, and the point is where the muscles on the outside of the calf protrude, hence the name.

[Location] 7 inches above the high point of the lateral malleolus, on the front edge of the fibula.

[Sheng Zhi] ① fullness in the chest and hypochondrium; ② paralysis of the lower limbs; ③ madness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat peroneal nerve palsy, cervical spondylosis, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

37. Guangming* (Guānɡmínɡ) collateral point

[Name] This acupoint has the function of soothing the liver and promoting the gallbladder. It is an important point for treating eye diseases and making eyes bright, hence the name.

[Location] 5 inches above the high point of the lateral malleolus, on the front edge of the fibula.

[Indications] ① eye pain, night blindness, myopia, blurred vision; ② lower limb flaccidity; ③ breast tenderness.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat optic atrophy, cataract, myopia, mastitis, postpartum hypogalactia, etc.

38. Yangfu (Yánɡfǔ) meridian point

【Name】The outer is Yang, and the auxiliary refers to the auxiliary bone, that is, the fibula.The point is on the front edge of the fibula on the outside of the calf, hence the name.

[Location] 4 cun above the high point of the lateral malleolus, slightly anterior to the anterior border of the fibula.

【Indications】①migraine, pain in the outer canthus;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.8-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat peroneal nerve palsy, sciatica, and cervical lymph node tuberculosis.

39. Xuanzhong* (Xuánzhōnɡ) the marrow meeting of eight meeting points

[name] hanging, hanging.The point is 3 inches above the high point of the lateral malleolus. In the past, children often hung bells here, so it got its name.

[Location] 3 inches above the high point of the lateral malleolus, on the front edge of the fibula.

[Indications] ①throat swelling and pain, stiff neck, chest pain; ②hemiplegia, paralysis of lower limbs, knee and leg pain, beriberi; ③hemorrhoids.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.8-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat sciatica, cerebrovascular disease, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, cervical spondylosis, and children's chorea.

40. Qiuxu * (Qiūxū) original point

[Name] The point is located in the depression in front of the lower lateral malleolus of the foot.

[Location] Anterior and inferior to the lateral malleolus, in the depression lateral to the extensor digitorum longus tendon.

[Indications] ①Neck pain, distending pain in the chest and hypochondrium, flaccidity of lower limbs, foot pronation, foot drop; ②Malaria; ③Eye disease.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-0.8 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat ankle joint and surrounding soft tissue diseases, cholecystitis, etc.

41. Zulinqi (Zulinqi) acupoint. The intersection point of the eight meridians, leading to the Daimai
【Name】pro, governance; weeping, tears.The point is good at treating eye diseases and controlling tears in the foot, hence the name.

[Location] Anterior to the junction of the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones, in the lateral depression of the extensor toe minor tendon.

[Indications] ①Headache, pain in the outer canthus, conjunctival swelling and pain, hypochondriac pain, foot tarsal pain; ②Irregular menstruation, breast pain; ③Enuresis; ④Scrofula; ⑥Malaria.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.3-0.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nerve (vascular) headache, supraorbital neuralgia, electro-optic ophthalmia, mastitis, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

42. Diwuhui (Dìwǔhuì)

[Name] So the point is mainly used for tarsal swelling and pain, and the five toes cannot touch the ground, so it is named.

[Location] Between the fourth and fifth metatarsals, at the medial edge of the extensor toe minor tendon.

【Indications】①headache, red eyes, tinnitus;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.3-0.5 inches straight.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headache, conjunctivitis, nervous tinnitus, mastitis, etc.

43. Xiáxī Xing Point

[Name] The point is between the 4th and 5th toes, and the part is as narrow as a ditch, hence the name.

[Location] Dorsum of foot, end of seam between fourth and fifth toes, border of red and white flesh.

【Indications】①Headache, deafness, tinnitus, pain in the outer canthus, dizziness, sore throat;

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.3-0.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headache, conjunctivitis, nervous tinnitus, mastitis, etc.

44. Foot orifice yin* (Zúqiàoyīn) well point

[Name] The point is located on the foot, it is good at treating diseases of the ears and eyes, the kidney opens to the ears, the liver opens to the eyes, and the two viscera belong to yin, hence the name.

[Location] On the lateral side of the fourth toe, about 0.1 cun lateral to the corner of the nail.

【Indications】①migraine, red eyes and swelling, deafness, hypochondriac pain, sore throat; ②fever; ③insomnia; ④cough; ⑥irregular menstruation.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Superficially puncture 0.1 cun, or prick for bleeding; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headache, conjunctivitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, neurasthenia, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

[-]. Liver Meridian of Foot Jueyin
([-]) Meridian circulation

1. The body surface follows the route starting from Dadun point above the tip of the big toe, along the middle of the second toe of the big toe, goes up in front of the medial malleolus, and crosses behind the spleen meridian of foot Taiyin at eight inches above the medial malleolus, along the middle of the inner thigh, It surrounds the yin organ, passes through the upper side of the lower abdomen, and ends at the gate point of the sixth intercostal space under the breast; one branch is separated from the liver, passes through the diaphragm, and injects into the lungs. [Join Taiyin Lung Meridian of Hand].

2. Connect with viscera and organs The human abdomen, holding the stomach, belongs to the liver, connects the gallbladder, follows the throat, injects the lungs, and is connected with the eyes, brain, and vulva.

3. Circular distribution characteristics
(1) From the feet to the abdomen and chest, it is the meridian of excess blood and little qi. During the ugly period (1-3 o'clock), the qi and blood are vigorous.

(2) There are 14 points in total, starting from Dadun point and ending at Qimen point.

(3) Distributed on the dorsum of the foot, the inner surface of the tibia, the middle of the inner thigh, the genitals, and the lower abdomen.

(4) Connecting with the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot-Shaoyang on the top, one branch branches from the liver, passes through the diaphragm, injects on the lungs above, and intersects with the Lung Meridian of Hand-Taiyin.

1. Low back pain, chest and hypochondrium pain, hiccups.

2. Enuresis, dysuria.

3. Hernia, less abdominal swelling.

1. Urogenital system diseases: such as irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, metrorrhagia, impotence, spermatorrhea, enuresis, hernia, dysmenorrhea, etc.

2. Hepatobiliary diseases: such as hepatitis, hepatosplenomegaly and other hepatobiliary diseases.

3. Others: headache, eye pain, dizziness, high blood pressure, stroke sequelae, febrile convulsions in children, epilepsy.

There are 14 points in total.

1. Dàdūn (Dàdūn) well point

[Name] The point is at the end of the big toe, where it is thick, hence the name.

[Location] On the lateral side of the big toe, 0.1 cun from the lateral side of the corner of the nail.

[Indications] ①Hernia, lower abdominal pain, metrorrhagia, enuresis, vaginal erection, vaginal contraction, vaginal pain, metrorrhagia, hematuria, vulva swelling; ②Epileptic, good sleep.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Superficially puncture 0.1-0.2 cun, or puncture for bleeding; can be moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat amenorrhea, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, hernia, enuresis in children, orchitis, etc.

2. Between the lines* (Hánɡjiān) Xing point

[Name] Go, pass; the point is named because it is located between the big and second toes.The foot is used for walking. This point is where the human body focuses on walking, hence the name.

[Location] On the dorsal side of the foot, at the junction of the red and white flesh behind the web edge of the first and second toes.

[Indications] ①Headache, dizziness, conjunctival congestion and swelling; ②Hernia, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, irregular menstruation, anuria, dysuria, enuresis; ③hypochondriac pain, foot and back pain; ④epilepsy, insomnia; ⑥fullness in chest and flank pain.

【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】Straightly or obliquely 0.5-0.8 cun; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat hypertension, glaucoma, conjunctivitis, orchitis, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

3. Taichong* (Tàichōnɡ) Shu point; Yuan point
[Name] Tai, big; Chong, important.Because of the strong local pulse, it is named.

【Location】The dorsum of the foot, in the depression anterior to the junction of the first and second metatarsal bones.

[Indications] ①Headache, dizziness, red eyes and swelling pain, sore throat; ②Irregular menstruation, anuria, enuresis, hernia, metrorrhagia; , Atrophy of the lower limbs.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-0.8 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Applications] It is often used in modern times to treat cerebrovascular diseases, high blood pressure, glaucoma, facial paralysis, epilepsy, intercostal neuralgia, irregular menstruation, and paralysis of the lower limbs.

4. Zhongfeng* (Zhōnɡfēnɡ) meridian points

【Name】Seal, means close.The point is in the anterior depression of the ankle, and there are two tendons closed, hence the name.

[Location] 1 cun anterior to the medial malleolus, between Shangqiu and Jiexi points, in the depression on the medial side of the tibialis anterior tendon.

【Zhuang Zhi】①Hernia, nocturnal emission; ②Difficulty urinating; ③Abdominal pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-0.8 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat hernia, spermatorrhea, cystitis, hepatitis, ankle sprain, etc.

5. Ligou* (Líɡōu) network point

[Name] Li, refers to wood-gnawing insects; ditch, refers to depressions.This point is located in the depression on the edge of the tibia, and it is mainly used to treat itching of the vulva, if there are insects, so it is named.

[Location] On the inner side of the calf, 5 inches above the high point of the medial malleolus, in the center of the medial side of the tibia.

[Indications] ① Difficulty urinating, enuresis; ② Irregular menstruation, leukorrhea;

③ lower extremity flaccidity.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat vaginitis, endometritis, uterine prolapse, orchitis, etc.

6. Zhongdu (Zh6ngdo) Qie Point

[Name] The point is located in the middle ditch on the inner side of the calf, hence the name.

[Location] On the inner side of the calf, 7 inches above the high point of the medial malleolus, on the center of the medial side of the tibia.

[Indications] ①Hernia, metrorrhagia, lochia; ②Abdominal pain, diarrhea.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of functional uterine bleeding and knee arthritis in modern times.

7. Knee (Xīɡuān)

[Name] The point is on the knee joint, and it is mainly used to treat wind arthralgia and knee pain, hence the name.

[Location] On the inner side of the calf, when the medial epicondyle of the tibia is posterior and inferior, 1 cun posterior to the Yinlingquan point, on the upper part of the medial head of the gastrocnemius muscle.

[Indications] Knee swelling and pain, lower limb flaccidity.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of knee arthritis in modern times.

8. Ququan* (Qūquán) combined point

[Name] The point is above the large tendon and below the small tendon, and it is sunken when the knee is bent, hence the name.

[Location] When the knee is bent, above the head of the transverse crease on the medial side of the knee, in the depression at the front edge of the insertion of the semitendinosus and semimembranosus muscles.

【Indications】①Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, vaginal stiffness, dysuria, nocturnal emission, vulvar itching; ②Knee pain.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat prostatitis, cystitis, nephritis, vaginitis, endometritis, etc.

9. Yin bag (Yīnbāo)

[Name] The point is located between the two Yins of Foot Taiyin and Foot Shaoyin, and it is located in the lower part of the thigh, hence the name.

[Location] 4 cun above the medial superior malleolus of the femur, between the vastus medialis and sartorius.

[Indications] ①Abdominal pain; ②Enuresis, dysuria; ③Irregular menstruation.

[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.

[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of enuresis in children and lumbosacral arthritis in modern times.

10. Zuwuli (Zúwǔlǐ)

[Name] The point is 5 inches above Jimen, which is opposite to Shouwuli.

[Location] On the inner thigh, 3 inches straight down when the Qi rushes, at the root of the thigh, below the pubic tubercle, on the outer edge of the adductor longus muscle.

[Indications] ① Lower abdominal pain; ② Difficulty urinating, vaginal erection, testicular swelling and pain; ③ Addiction to lying down; ④ Scrofula.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat orchitis, scrotum eczema, etc.
