11. Yinlian (Yīnlián)

[Location] On the inner thigh, 2 inches straight down when the Qi rushes, at the root of the thigh, below the pubic tubercle, on the outer edge of the adductor longus muscle.
[Indications] ①Irregular menstruation, leukorrhea; ②Lower abdominal pain.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 1-1.5 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of endometritis and vaginitis in modern times.
12. Jimai (Jímài)
[Name] The impulsiveness is urgent, and it lives in the pudendal artery, hence the name.
[Location] 2.5 cun lateral to the midpoint of the pubic symphysis, at the pulsation of the inguinal femoral artery just outside and below the Qichong point.
【Indications】①Lower abdominal pain;②Hernia, Yin Ting.
【Acupuncture and moxibustion method】avoiding the artery, puncture 0.5-0.8 cun. Wang Annotation of "Su Wen": It can be moxibustion but not pricking.
[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of hernia and uterine prolapse in modern times.
13. Zhangmen (Zhānɡmén) the raising point of the spleen; the visceral meeting of the eight meeting points
【Name】Chapter, Ming.This acupoint belongs to the liver meridian. The liver governs greenness, life, and spring. Spring is the season when the sun is shining and everything grows.This acupoint is located on the left and right sides of the flank and is arranged in a door shape, hence the name.
【Location】In the flank of the abdomen, the lower edge of the free end of No.11 rib.
[Indications] ① abdominal distension, diarrhea, abdominal mass; ② hypochondriac pain, jaundice.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] obliquely needling 0.5-0.8 cun; can be used for moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat hepatitis, gastritis, enteritis, etc.
14. Qimen (Qīmén) the mo point of the liver
[Name] The period is one week. This point is the last point in the circulation of the twelve meridians. The blood of the human body starts from Yunmen and ends at this point; The portal of the meridian qi movement, hence the name.
[Location] Directly below the nipple, the sixth intercostal space, four inches lateral to the anterior midline.
[Indications] ① Chest and hypochondriac pain, abdominal distension, chest fullness; ② Vomiting, acid regurgitation, hiccups, abdominal distension, diarrhea; ③ Breast abscess.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] oblique or flat 0.5-0.8 cun; can be used for moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis, intercostal neuralgia, etc.

1. Sishencong (Sìshéncōnɡ)
[Name] The point is around the Baihui point on the top of the head, which can strengthen the brain and improve intelligence, hence the name.
[Positioning] On the top of the head, 1 inch from the front, back, left, and right sides of Baihui, a total of 4 points.
[Indications] Headache, dizziness, hemiplegia, epilepsy, insomnia, forgetfulness.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headaches, cerebrovascular diseases, high blood pressure, neurasthenia, mental illness, ADHD, vascular dementia, and brain hypoplasia.
2. Dangyang (Dānɡyánɡ)
[Location] On the front of the head, when the pupil is straight up, 1 cun above the front hairline.
[Indications] Headache, vertigo, conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, nasal congestion, nasal sinusitis.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Pricking 0.5-0.8 cun flat; can be used for moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nervous headaches, rhinitis, colds, etc.
3. Fish waist (Yúyāo)
[Name] Fish refers to the arch of the eyebrows, the middle part is the waist, the eyebrows of a person are shaped like a fish, and the acupoint is suitable for the middle part of the eyebrows, hence the name.
[Positioning] On the forehead, directly above the pupil, and in the eyebrow.
【Indications】Conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, cloudy eyes, drooping eyelids, drooping eyelids, slanting mouth and eyes.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Prick 0.3-0.5 cun horizontally; moxibustion is forbidden.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat supraorbital neuralgia, acute conjunctivitis, leukoplakia, ptosis, facial paralysis, etc.
4. The sun (Tàiyánɡ)
[Name] The point is at the corner of the head, which is commonly known as the sun, hence the name.
[Location] In the temporal part, between the brow tip and the outer canthus, in the depression about one finger backward.
[Indications] Migraine and positive headache, conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, dizziness, astringent eyes, slanted mouth and eyes.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Straight or oblique 0.3-0.5 cun, or pricking with a three-edged needle for bleeding; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat nerve (vascular) headache, hypertension, acute conjunctivitis, dacryocystitis, optic atrophy, stye, facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, etc.
5. Ear tip (ěrjiān)
[Name] Because the acupoint is at the tip of the ear, it is named.
[Positioning] On the top of the auricle, when the ear is folded forward, at the tip above the auricle.
【Indications】Conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, nebula, stye, sore throat, migraine.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Puncture 0.1-0.2 cun straight, or puncture with a three-edged needle for bleeding; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat acute conjunctivitis, stye, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, high blood pressure, etc.
6. Behind the ball (Qiúhòu)
【Mingruo】Because the acupoint is located at the infraorbital rim, it is suitable for the back of the eyeball, hence the name.
[Location] At the junction of the outer 1/4 and inner 3/4 of the infraorbital rim.
【Indications】Eye diseases: conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, nebula, blurred vision, night blindness, etc.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Lightly press the eyeball upwards, and slowly puncture 0.5-1 inch along the lower orbital edge without lifting or inserting; without moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat optic atrophy, optic neuritis, retinitis pigmentosa, cataract, glaucoma, myopia, etc.
7. Zhiyingxiang (Zhǐyínɡxiānɡ)
[Name] The point is near the top of Yingxiang, hence the name.
[Location] On the face, at the junction of the alar cartilage and the turbinate, near the upper end of the nasolabial fold.
[Indications] nasal sinusitis, nasal hemorrhoids, nasal hemorrhoids; headache, Yingfengliulei.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] obliquely puncture 0.3-0.5 cun inward and upward; can be used for moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat rhinitis, sinusitis, conjunctivitis, dacryocystitis, etc.
8. Neiyingxiang (Nèiyínɡxiānɡ)
[Name] Inner refers to the inner side of the nose. Acupuncture at this point can restore the sense of smell and usher in the fragrance again, and it is opposite to Yingxiang, so it is named.
【Location】In the nostril, at the junction of the nasal alar cartilage and the turbinate.
【Indications】Conjunctival congestion, swelling and pain, nasal disease, sore throat, febrile disease, heatstroke.
【Acupuncture and Moxibustion】Bleeding when pricked with a three-edged needle, it is contraindicated for those with bleeding constitution.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat conjunctivitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, heat stroke, etc.
9. Juquan (Jùquán)
[Name] The point is in the middle of the tongue and is related to the production of oral fluid, hence the name.
[Location] In the oral cavity, open the mouth and stick out the tongue, at the midpoint of the middle seam of the back of the tongue.
[Indications] Strong tongue, slow tongue, tasteless after eating, thirst, asthma, cough.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Puncture 0.1-0.2 cun straight, or prick with a triangular needle to bleed.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat tongue muscle paralysis, loss of taste, and bronchial asthma.
10. Haiquan (Hǎiquán)
[Location] The point is located in the middle of the tongue and is related to the production of oral fluid, hence the name.
【Location】In the oral cavity, with the mouth open, the tongue rolls backward, at the midpoint of the sublingual frenulum.
【Indications】Swollen tongue with heavy tongue, slow tongue closure, throat closure, vomiting, hiccups, diarrhea, thirst.
【Acupuncture and Moxibustion】Bleeding from pricking.
[Application] It is commonly used in the treatment of glossitis and pharyngitis in modern times.
11. Jinjin (Jīnjīn), Yuye (Yùyè)
[Name] The point is located at the veins on both sides of the sublingual, called Jinjin on the left, and Yuye on the right, because there is a lot of body fluid under the tongue.
【Location】In the oral cavity, open the mouth, roll the tongue backward, on the veins on both sides of the sublingual frenulum; left Jinjin, right Yuye.
【Indications】 Tongue strong, tongue swollen, aphthous, throat closed aphasia; thirst, vomiting, diarrhea.

12. Leading (Qiānzhènɡ)
[Naming] Pulling means to correct, because it cures facial paralysis and mouth slant, and needling it can correct the slant and make it straight, hence the name.
[Location] On the face, 0.5-1 inch in front of the earlobe.
[Indications] Slanted mouth and eyes; aphtha, halitosis, lower toothache.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat facial paralysis, glossitis, stomatitis, etc.
13. Yiming (Yìmínɡ)
[Name] The point is located behind Yifeng, it has the power to improve eyesight, hence the name.
[Location] On the nape, 1 cun behind Yifeng point.
[Indications] Eye diseases: myopia, hyperopia, sparrows, blue blindness; headache, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat optic atrophy, cataract, glaucoma, myopia, neurasthenia, mental illness, etc.
14. Sleep (ānmián)
[Name] It is named for its sleeping effect.
[Location] At the midpoint of the line connecting Yifeng Point and Fengchi Point.
【Indications】Insomnia, palpitation, irritability, epilepsy; headache, dizziness.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is often used in the treatment of neurasthenia, hysteria, and mental illness in modern times. 15. Neck Bailao (Jǐnɡbǎiláo) [name] has more than one meaning; labor is the same as tuberculosis, and it is said to treat a variety of tuberculosis, hence the name.
[Location] On the nape, 2 cun straight above Dazhui point, 1 cun lateral to the posterior midline.
【Indications】Neck pain; cough, asthma, bone steaming hot flashes, night sweats, spontaneous sweating; scrofula.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-1 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat bronchial asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis, whooping cough, neck sprain, etc.

1. Uterus (Zǐɡōnɡ)
[Name] The acupuncture point is close to the uterus, and it is mainly used to treat diseases of the uterus, hence the name.
[Location] In the lower abdomen, 4 cun below the middle of the navel, 3 cun lateral to the middle pole.
[Indications] Yin Ting, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, irregular menstruation, infertility; hernia, lumbago.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.8-1.2 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat uterine prolapse, dysmenorrhea, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and irregular menstruation.

1. Dìnɡchuǎn (Dìnɡchuǎn)

[Location] On the back and waist, on both sides below the spinous process of the first thoracic vertebra to the fifth lumbar vertebra, 0.5 cun away from the posterior midline, 17 points on one side.
【主治】①胸1~5夹脊:心肺、胸部及上肢疾病;②胸6~12夹脊;胃肠、脾、肝、胆疾病;③腰1~5夹脊:下肢疼痛,腰、骶、小腹部疾病。

4. Pǐɡēn (Pǐɡēn)
[Name] Accumulated lumps are called "pimples". This point is mainly used to treat the diseases of lumps and fullness. Acupuncture can make the accumulation of lumps dissipate, so it is named.
[Location] At the waist, 3.5 inches laterally below the spinous process of the first lumbar vertebra.
[Indications] Lump, lump in the abdomen, hernia, lumbago, nausea.

5. Xiàjíyú

6. Waist eye (Yāoyǎn)

[Location] At the waist, in the depression 3.5 inches below the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra.
【Indications】Lumbago, frequent urination, thirst, gynecological diseases.

7. Seventeen vertebrae (Shíqīzhuī)
[Name] The point is located in the depression below the spinous process of No.17, hence the name.
[Location] At the waist, on the posterior midline, below the spinous process of the fifth lumbar vertebra.
[Indications] Lumbosacral pain, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia, enuresis, leg pain.

[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat lumbosacral lesions, paralysis of the lower limbs, functional uterine bleeding, enuresis in children, etc.
8. Yaoqi (Yāoqí)
[Naming] The point acts as the waist and has miraculous effects in treating epilepsy, hence the name.
【Location】In the sacrum, when the end of the coccyx is 2 inches straight up, in the depression between the sacral horns.
【Indications】Lumbosacral pain, constipation, headache, insomnia, epilepsy.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] Needle upwards 1 to 1.5 inches horizontally; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is often used in modern times to treat hysteria, mental weakness, and habitual constipation.

1. Elbow tip (Zhǒujiān)
[Name] The point is located at the elbow, on the tip of the pointed finger. It is named because the point is the tip of the olecranon protruding from the ulna.
[Location] On the back of the elbow, at the elbow flexion, at the tip of the olecranon.
【Indications】Scrofula, carbuncle, furuncle, intestinal abscess, cholera.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion] moxa cone moxibustion.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat shoulder joint and surrounding soft tissue diseases, upper limb paralysis, etc.
2. Erbai (èrbái)
[Name] White is plain, because the acupoint is on the inner side of the upper limb, where the skin is whiter, and the two acupoints are symmetrical, hence the name.
[Location] On the palm side of the forearm, 4 cun above the transverse crease of the wrist, on both sides of the flexor carpi radialis tendon, 1 point on each side, 2 points on each arm.
[Indications] Forearm pain, chest and hypochondriac pain, hemorrhoids, anal prolapse.
[Acupuncture and moxibustion method] Needling 0.5-0.8 cun in a straight line; moxibustion can be used.
[Application] It is commonly used in modern times to treat anorectal diseases such as hemorrhoids and prolapse of the anus.
3. Zhongquan (Zhōnɡquán)
[Name] The acupuncture point is named between Yangxi and Yangchi.
[Location] In the dorsal crease of the wrist, when it refers to the depression on the radial side of the common extensor tendon.
[Indications] Heat in the palm, abdominal distension and abdominal pain, epigastric pain, fullness in the chest and hypochondrium, cough and wheezing, heartache, bloody spit, and cloudy eyes.

4. Zhongkui (Zhōnɡkuí)

【Indications】Toothache, epistaxis, choking diaphragm, nausea, hiccups, vitiligo.

5. Big bone empty (Dàɡǔkōnɡ)

[Indications] Pain in the eye, tears in the wind, cloudy eyes, vomiting and diarrhea, epistaxis.
