A Prince's Love

Alena's hair looks very messy because of Nizam's hand that often tore her hair earlier. She is pale, languid and haggard. Alena never thought that Queen Sabrina would catch them and come at the right time. Alena smoothed her hair occasionally using her fingers. Her tears were still welled up.

Meanwhile Cynthia walked beside Alena. Cynthia walked sluggish and weak. Her face was as pale as Alena's.  She blames herself for always following Alena's wishes. If She had advised Alena earlier this would not have happened. Even so, Cynthia felt grateful because this time Alena was released from punishment

Their journey from Nizam's palace to the Harem seemed very long. Their long journey was due to their uncomfortable feelings. Seeing Queen Sabrina's frozen face was terrifying.. Why is there such a beautiful yet terrifying face in this world? Finally, the journey that felt long finally arrived.

Queen Sabrina stood in front of the Harem gate, facing the bodies of the two eunuchs guarding the gate, and said sharply.

"You are the chosen Eunuchs. How did Princess Alena get out of the Harem without your  conscious?"

The two Eunuchs immediately knelt in front of Queen Sabrina. their face was pale. They really don't understand how Alena got out without them knowing. And this is an unforgivable big mistake

"Forgive Us, Her Majesty The Queen, We did not see Princess Alena coming out of the Harem at all. We only saw Miss Cynthia and allowed to meet His Majesty the Prince." One of the Eunuchs tried to defend himself.

They really don't understand, how can Princess Alena be outside. They were sure they had only seen Cynthia coming out of the Harem. Could it be that Princess Alena was sneaking out while they were helping Cynthia? Could it be that Cynthia was just pretending to be fainting? How could they be fooled by this common tactic? Only because they assumed that Cynthia was an outsider who didn't know any tactics. Because of this carelessness, they got caught in Cynthia and Alena's trap. The two eunuch's bodies immediately went limp.

"So what you mean is that you were fooled by two girls who came from outside. Who did not understand any tactics in the kingdom? While you have been studying for years about tactics, and strategies to face any situation that could possibly occur. Incredible. Your abilities. Guards !!! " Queen Sabrina summoned the guards who were patrolling the front of the Harem. On each patrol there are about 6 guards who walk in a line. Holds a wooden stick as a hammer. They were not given firearms like the guards outside.

The guards immediately stopped and then they lined up in a line facing Queen Sabrina, they bowed their heads awaiting orders.

"Hit each of them 20 times." Queen Sabrina's voice sounded thundering as if taking the life of those who heard it.

Alena and Cynthia opened their mouths wide. They were immediately shocked to hear Queen Sabrina's order. Because of their mistake, two innocent Eunuchs were affected.  Alena became very sorry because of her stupidity, the eunuchs were punished to receive a beating and this must be more terrible than the punishment that Alena received.

Alena immediately grabbed Queen Sabrina's clothes. Whining like a child. With a pitiful face and a compassionate voice, Alena tried to ask forgiveness for the two eunuchs. Alena tried to do her best to change the mind of Queen Sabrina. She hoped Queen Sabrina could forgive the two eunuchs.

"My Majesty the Queen Mother. Please don't beat them. They are innocent. I was wrong because has slipped out. Please punish me instead." Alena starts crying. She felt very guilty towards the two Eunuchs. Alena tried to offer herself as a substitute for the punishment that would be given to the two eunuchs. Alena had no more fear. She would rather be flogged than having to see the two innocent eunuchs beaten.

Even though in her heart, Queen Sabrina admits that Alena is a generous and responsible person. She didn't want anyone else to suffer because of her mistakes so Alena offered to replace the two eunuchs' punishment. Her hunch is true why her son chose Alena. Alena is a kind woman who is very sincere. Even though Alena begged like that Queen Sabrina still refused because the law still had to be upheld. Queen Sabrina shook her head.

"I have promised His Majesty the Prince not to punish you. He swore by his own life. Do you think I am, his own mother to play with my own son's life? Not Alena !! Moreover, when His Majesty the Prince asked your forgiveness. He knew I would definitely blame two eunuchs harem guarding.

Princes Nizam was angry that they did not guard the Harem properly. Regardless of who was at fault ... " Queen Sabrina's voice was truly terrifying. She seemed to emphasize that Eunuchs was punished for Alena's mistake. Queen Sabrina wanted, Alena really realized her mistake. Alena was so careless that Queen Sabrina tried to get Alena to get rid of her careless nature.

Alena was very shocked to hear Queen Sabrina's explanation. Her husband already knew that by asking for her forgiveness the punishment would be imposed on others. Alena also heard that Nizam was angry with the Harem guards for making Alena escape from the Harem. Alena cried, Why is life in the palace so cruel?

Her fault was only sneaking up to meet her husband but why is everyone acting so cruel as if she made a big and unforgivable mistake. She only missed Nizam and that longing must be redeemed by a painful blow to others.

Alena hugged Cynthia when Eunuch's hands were tied and then began to be beaten in front of Alena and Cynthia. Screams began to fill the Harem. It was not the feet that were beaten as punishment by Alena but the body that was beaten. So Alena cannot imagine the pain that Eunuchs suffered. Alena and Cynthia embraced, closing their eyes.

The shout was heard also in Nizam's room. Nizam instead sat while smoking listening to the screams. Cigarette smoke soared. Nizam's face was so cold. He looked calm as if nothing had happened. He could already think that his mother would still uphold justice. Since Nizam had sworn on his life, his mother must have blamed the Harem gatekeeper. Nizam's heart was annoyed because according to him of the negligent guard Alena could escape to his place. So the punishment is worth the mistake.

Alena cried on the bed, hugging her knees. The voice of Alena's crying sounded very heartbreaking. She truly felt very sorry for having done something that resulted in the punishment of other people. The screams of the two eunuchs kept ringing in her ears. She did not care about the servants who lined up carrying the wedding dresses She was going to try.

Four tailors and designer designers stood waiting for orders. They will do the wedding dress fitting. But it seems that the intention will fail because they see Princess Alena who  cried continuously while hugging her knees

Queen Sabrina paced back and forth in front of Alena. She can't do anything. Seeing Alena was like a trauma. Her situation was worse than when Alena has beaten herself. The incident earlier shook her soul.

Finally, Queen Sabrina told all the servants to leave Alena's room, including her tailors and designers.

Cynthia stood confused beside Alena. Cynthia was as confused as Queen Sabrina in facing Alena, who was just silent and crying. Even though She already knows Alena's style when She is depressed because of sadness.

Even though Cynthia is very smart, She also has to learn the lifestyle in the palace. She did not think there would be a problem like this. At first, She was very happy that Alena was not punished. But it turned out to be even worse.

Queen Sabrina motioned for Cynthia to come out of Alena's room. Cynthia bowed respectfully, then followed Queen Sabrina out of Alena's room.

"Cynthia, I think Princess Alena is a little shaken by this incident."

Cynthia immediately shouted to herself. How can it just a little shaken? How could such a terrible event be an ordinary event? It was clear that the incident had been terrifying and had given us a tremendous amount of shock. Not only to Alena but also to herself. But Cynthia didn't dare to say anything. She just lowered her head.

Cynthia is a hard-hearted and angry person. She cursed Queen Sabrina for hitting people so cruelly just because Alena slipped out. Even Alena slipped away to meet no one. Alena just wanted to meet her husband by herself. It is inconceivable what if Alena met the other man. Maybe her friend was sentenced to death directly.

"I hope you,  Cynthia. You don't always follow her wishes. The tactics you take on the guards must come from you. Alena is so innocent. She will never think that tactics. I also really hope that this incident will make Alena more mature and not act recklessly again."

Cynthia just nodded her head and bowed in salute. What Queen Sabrina said was true. She shouldn't blame anyone because the fault lies with her. From the start, She always followed Alena's wishes and that's what made Alena always get into trouble. Secretly, Cynthia was very sorry.
