Deciding to focus on to more important matters, Ethan decided to think about what kind of thing he should do as he turned his head towards her.

"Light, would you be able to draw your Mother? I don't know if you actually saw her, or not, but I would appreciate even just a template, I would like to create a suitable sanctuary for her, so that she can see how her daughter is enjoying life, even if her only purpose was to help me"

At his words, she thought about it as she added

"I know my mother's looks...Thinking about it, she actually looked like a woman before being assigned her current task.."

Her words, made him flinch as he placed the pencil on the table before turning his head towards her.

"..I know it's not good to ask, but, I am really curious to know what happened"

This request, made her nod as she decided to explain to him.

"..In short, my mother, as you already know, is considered an existence superior to anything that can be defined as common. But, this isn't only roses and flowers, there are also thorns that we would be able to notice only after observing the flower with care. She was assigned to check that nothing abnormal happened in the reincarnation cycle for years, millions of years, but that place doesn't allow the physical body to remain manifested, and this has led, in millions of years, to force her to abandon her body to merge with the universe itself in order to continue her task..."

Thinking about it for a moment, he looked at the sanctuary he was drawing as one of the last few things needed for it to be completed, was Qienta's shape.

"So..What should I--"

Interrupting him, Light approached him as she added

"Let me draw her"

At her statement, he nodded slowly while she sat next to him. Taking the pencil from his hands, she placed it on the sheet before adding

"I will draw her original appearance.."

The fact she was ignoring the fact he was really close to her at this moment, brought him to sigh as he understood that, when Light is focused on something, she wouldn't care about anything else before finishing what she had to do.

'You really seem like me..I do the same when I have something important to do.'

At his thought, she stopped to draw as she turned her head just to find herself in the same situation as when he was drawing the blueprint of the villa. Staring at her for a moment, Ethan tried to guess what she was thinking but, unfortunately, he didn't have the same power as her to read thoughts.

Looking away, she moved her chair to the right to 'let him have more space'. After this, She immediately drew the figure of a woman before starting to draw her actual appearance, but, he decided to stop her by placing his hand on hers. Even though he knew that this sudden contact wasn't 'good', he decided to not care about it as he added

"Wait, now that I think about it, there's no need for you to draw her appearance on this sheet. I just needed to draw the shape of her body, so that I can finish adjusting the pillars to match."

Thinking about it, brought her to sigh as she placed the pencil back on to the table.

"Sorry, I got carried away.."

Shaking his head, Ethan still had his hand on hers as, from the way she was acting, he could guess something 'important'.

"Can it be that your mother doesn't like the appearance she has right now?"

His words, brought her to flinch as she didn't expect such a question..

"No, it's not that she doesn't like her appearance, she didn't even think that it would have changed, with or without it. But, I am a different entity from her, even though I have her memories regarding her life, that doesn't mean I can simply accept everything. I...hate her a little for this, because she didn't deserve what she had to face, but she simply continued to do her job, without letting anyone else to get involved with her. When they decided that she would have had the task to watch over the process of reincarnation, forever, my mother just nod her head while accepting her fate...and that's something I can't accept.."

Tightening the grip on his hand, she looked away after he saw that she had tears in her eyes. This, brought him to look down as he didn't know what to do, so, he decided to say the first thing that came to his mind.

"Maybe..she liked her appearance as well as without a body.."

While saying these words, Ethan looked at her as he could see that she was, now, looking at him as if he just said the most important thing she had ever heard. Seeing her shocked expression, made him chuckle as he naturally brought a hand on her eyes to wipe her tears.

"You know, You can't tell me that you hate her in such a convincing way if you care about her so much to be so shocked by something I randomly thought. You are thinking too objectively. What if your mother entered that space to be left alone, what if she was searching for something that wasn't available anywhere else other than that place. She had the strength to kill them all, right? If she didn't kill the ones who decided that she had to enter that space, there had to be a reason for that."

His words, made her close in her thoughts as she was trying to search in her memories. This because, just as Ethan had finished saying, even if she had seen from an objective point of view how things evolved, she never had the opportunity to see them subjectively but, before she was able to do so, Ethan gave her a light blow on the head.

"See, you are exactly like me. Let's stop thinking too much on things, both of us. I had an interesting Idea regarding what to add to your mother's shape, wait a moment.."

After saying so, he removed his hand from hers while taking the pencil on his hands as he had to add his idea on it while Light was staring at him. Now that she was actually connecting her thoughts, she remembered that he completely ignored what she asked, but before she was able to point that out, she remembered that she had also begun to 'reply'.

Even though her face was slightly redder than before, she decided to not think about it as she could see that he seemed focused on drawing. This, made her curious as she silently brought her chair closer to his.

Being able to see it, Light was shocked, but she couldn't say anything as Ethan was faster. Roughly finishing a sketch of what he had in mind, he took the sheet he was drawing on as he pointed it towards her with a smile.

"Then, is it fine like this?"

Seeing the figure of a woman, surrounded by 4 pillars, as the right half of her body was made of 'Universe' while the left half was made of her 'Original Appearance', brought her to think about it as, from her point of view, it wasn't a good idea but, his previous words made her nod in affirmation.

"Even though I would have liked to use her full appearance, I think she wouldn't mind this"

With a nod, he added

"Her appearance is not the important thing here, Light. I don't care if she has the appearance of a Universe or a beautiful woman, she's the woman who brought me to this world, so I don't even know how I should be able to see her in a bad way. Now, I drew just a sketch, and I'm not that good with drawing itself, but I will do my best."

Saying so, he immediately started to think about details regarding how he should draw her while she stared at him before a tear was threatening to escape her grey eye but, without hesitation, she wiped it as she decided to return on to her own work.

'...I don't know if you would like it, Mother. But, Ethan is doing his best for you, so, at least accept his kindness..'

With these thoughts in mind, she bought the other materials that were required to build the villa as she could see that they still had a lot of things to do before they would even be done with the villa....

After 1 hour or so, Ethan finished his draw as he was about to ask her something, but, he saw that she was already at a good point with the villa. Surprised, he could sense that she wasn't making any kind of sound as he understood that, she was using her Divinity to 'make everything work'.

Without hesitation, he stood up as he approached her before giving her the sketch of the sanctuary as well.

"..By the way, is this your skill's doing? Like being able to replicate something you have the draw of?"

At his words, she nodded while looking towards the villa.

"Yes..at my level of proficiency, I'm able to make works of others like what they imagined without a problem. The only thing is, I'll need the specific material they wanted and, in your case, it's quite expensive.."

While she said so, Ethan turned to look at the villa as well before shaking his head.

"You should use my SP as well. You don't need to finish your whole reserves just for this..."

Thinking about what he said, made her reply with a 'smile'.

"...I will use your SP if there's something that requires me to do that. As I said, I'm fine using mines, so stop trying to convince me"

Sighing, he knew she wouldn't be so easy as he had various thoughts in mind, starting from when he would wake up to what he should do next.

"Oh, right. After I will leave this space, how can I return?"

"It will probably take a few weeks, but, the interesting part is, that we don't know if this domain contains something like a space-time dilation. I have no power to check on yours as you are the same rank as me"

Gulping, he closed his eyes as the thought of leaving Ais, Lefiya, and others to see him asleep in a bed for who knows how much time, brought him to look down.

"Isn't there..any actual method to check on it? I am fine with anything"

His question, brought her to sigh as she turned her head to answer him before she saw his 'pained' expression. Even though she remembered what happened just an hour ago, she knew she had no other choice when he had this kind of expression on his face.

"Well, there is a method, but it involves physical contact.."

Saying this while her cheeks were slightly red, she saw as his expression changed from a sad to a surprised one while she was about to tell him more details, but..

"Yes, Please tell me, I don't mind sharing that kind of contact with you if I can understand such important information"

Even though his straight answers brought her cheeks to become even more red than before, she ignored it as she understood it wasn't the time to mind how he expressed things.

"..At least give me time to explain. I have to keep my hand on the point where the core of your Domain is, the heart. That means, I have to directly bring my hand on your body to analyse your Domain. I will be able to obtain various information regarding it, so... the decision is yours"

Saying this, she expected him to at least appear a little fl.u.s.tered, but, she could see as he didn't even care about it as she approached her as fast as he could.

"..You can do it, I trust you"

These words, made her flinch as she decided to bring a stop to her work again while Ethan asked

"..So? Should I remove my shirt?"

Closing her eyes for a moment, Light added

"Yes, but do you at least understand that it's difficult to repress.."

Stopping middle-way on her speech, he was confused as he gave her a questioning gaze, but, she just shook her head while adding

"..Never mind, just let's get over this already. I want to finish the villa"

Her words, brought him to nod in understanding as he started to remove his shirt without hesitation while Light sighed in her mind as she focused on what she had to do.
