Collin's Otherworld Adventure

We arrive in what looks like a moderate size encampment, a bunch of other people approach us and start greeting their people back, then a woman with dark brown hair with the hair tied in back in a ponytail and with an eye patch covering her left eye, takes a sniff at me and then asks Sid.

"what is this outsider doing here?"

Sid puts his arm over my shoulders and says.

"he is going to join us."

she stares up and down at now, then cautiously asks.

"does he know?"

Sid smiles and replies.

"of course he knows, that is why i brought him here."

she then turns to me, and the serious expression she has softens up to a warm smile, she holds out her hand and says

"welcome to our fold, my name is Remy."

I reach out, shake her hand and reply nervously

"Co-Collin."

After greeting fifteen others in the encampment, I wonder around to find a seat close to a campfire, I sit down and let out a sigh of relief, after a few minutes, Sid walks towards my direction, he then takes a seat next to me, and the asks.

"tell me kid how are you feeling about this whole joining our fold thing?"

I reply with a question.

"if i join does it mean that I'll be a werewolf too?"

he replies.

"yeah, but look at the positives, if you are given werewolves blood, your mana pool will increase significantly."

I ask.

"so how does the blood increase my mana pool?"

he replies.

"to transform into a werewolf, you need a huge mana pool, and the blood makes sure that the host body can handle the transformation by increasing it."

i ask with concern.

"it all sounds too good to be true, there must be negatives to having werewolf's blood, right?"

he sighs and replies.

"im not going to lie, there are huge negatives to being a werewolf."

he pauses and continues.

"you won't be able to go back to any major kingdom, because having werewolf's blood will get you considered as a monster, and even if you try, anyone with detection magic, will detect you as a monster, and will most likely hunt you down and kill you."

i think to myself.

"this is bad, if i do this, I can't return back to Rosie."

I reply.

"is there anymore that I need to know?"

he replies.

"even though the transformation makes you three times physically stronger than humans, and most living things, if you transform too much the transformation can destroy your body."

I just stay quiet, as he continues.

"you wont get proper rest even if you sleep, eating meat will be the only thing to satisfy your hunger, I mean thats not to say you cant eat other foods."

I then ask.

"Is that all?"

he shakes his head and says.

"one more thing, there is a ninety five percent chance that you might die after consuming the blood."

I give him a cold and dead look and ask.

"are you serious?"

he replies.

"yes seriously, not everyone can handle the werewolf's blood."

I stay quiet and think to myself.

"is this really worth it? should i go through this?"

Sid gets up and puts his hand my shoulder and say.

"come find me when you have made a decision kid."

he walks away and starts talking to someone else, Ive made it this far and this could be my only chance to have an actual mana pool, i have already experienced fighting foes without using magic, and it's been the hardest things that i have ever done, i then think to myself.

"this could be exactly what Ive been looking for, I had a goal since being reincarnated into this world and that is, I will get stronger no matter the cost."

i have made my choice, I wonder around looking for Sid, i then see him talking to Klein, And Remy, I approach him, and say.

"Sorry to interrupt, but i made my choice."

he turns with a grin on his face, rushes to me, puts his arm on my shoulders, starts laughing, and says

"i knew you would make that right choice kid."

come on kid we got the blood ready and everything."

I nervously ask.

"so what i just chug it down and become a werewolf?"

he replies.

"well if you dont die, your body will immediately react to it and you will transform into a werewolf, the pain will hit you like a high speed boulder rolling down a mountain and hitting you."

"is this their version of saying runaway freight train?"

he interrupts my thoughts and says.

"when you drink it, all of us will surround you so that when you do transform, we can subdue you, so you dont run off and go on a killing rampage."

with concern in my voice i ask.

"will i not be in control."

he laughs and replies.

"oh hell no, the first transformation is always intense, but after that you will be good to go."

after that he leads me to where everyone is at in but they are all in a circle shape, me and Sid make our way to the center, Sid then starts shouting in a loud and commanding voice.

"brothers and sisters! we are all here because we are adding another person to our expanding family."

Sid then turns to me and says in a low voice.

"go on kid say your name and something else."

I stutter nervously.

"Co-Collin Belfaust, From Arce Village, Rozlania Kingdom."

he smirks and says.

"good job kid."

and then he shouts.

"Klein!"

Klein steps out of the circle and has a glass cup, and a dagger, he approaches us, Sid holds out his arm, Klein then uses the dagger and makes a cut on Sid's wrist, The Sid turns his arm an pours it into the glass cup, after the cup fills up, Sid hold out the cup to me, I slowly grab it, Sid then says.

"go ahead kid."

I close my eyes and chug down the blood, I immediately feel pain throughout my body and then my vision goes black.
