Collin's Otherworld Adventure

Chapter 70 - Number 68165

after recieving our prison clothes and numbers, I get taken to side and get washed off by an orc gaurd who uses water magic, but the temperature of it was purposely cold, and how I knew it was so, is because the guard didn't hide his joyous reaction as he laughed and mocked me as I gasped and jumped as the cold water made contact with my skin, and them I think to myself shivering.

"damn it, I regret not trying to escape now."

the orc guard stops laughing and tosses me a raggedy and musty smelling tower, he then says to me composed.

"dry out and put your clothes on, so we can get you to your cell."

I look around to see if I can see Felnor, but I had no luck finding him, I sigh and wonder.

"hopefully the kid is alright."

the gaurd keeps on escorting me and climb some stairs until we arrive at the in front of a cell that is located on the fourth floor of the cell block, the guard then shouts.

"open cell number four, two, three!"

a loud buzzing sound rings echoes through the cell block, and as the cell door slides open, the guard says menancily.

"prisoner number six, eight, one, six, five, play nice with your new cell mate."

he the pushes me inside the dark cell and shouts again.

"close cell number, four, two, three!"

the buzzing sound rings again and the cell door closes, I then ask myself.

"why is it so dark in here?"

"so you must be my new celly?"

I then think to myself.

"don't let anyone intimidate you."

I respond.

"It looks like it, but I got a question, why are the lights off, I can't see a thing."

my cellmate turns the light off and I'm greeted with the sight of General Aktosh, and with this discovery, my anger took over as I grab him by neck and slam him against the concrete wall, I then say with animosity.

"what a cruel fate it is. to be here locked up with the person who killed my friend."

as Aktosh gasps for air, he tries to break free, but

to no avail, he couldn't do it, he then manages to say something.

I let go of his neck and as he catches his breathe I respond.

"this better be good."

Aktosh clears his throat and asks.

"are you the same werewolf kid that defeated me?"

I respond irritated.

"yeah, do you not recognize me?"

he replies.

"I did, that's why I didn't immidiately attack you, but now I regret not doing so."

I give him an annoyed look and I say agitated.

Aktosh sits down on the bottom of the bunk bed and he says.

"look the moment I saw come you through the cell doors I knew we were going to have some kind violent exchange, but I was hoping on that we could put the past behind us and work together in surviving this hell hole of a prison."

I then think to myself.

"I hate Aktosh, but he has a point, and since I'm not familiar with how things work here, I can use him and get all the information I can outnof him."

I then breathe in and out to calm myself down, and answer him.

"alright I see your point there, but first thing first."

I take a seat right next to him and as I put my hand on his shoulder, I say to him with hostility.

"you need to answer some questions I have, and if you get on my wrong side, you will pay dearly."

he nods and replies with smile.

I take my hand off of his shoulder and he continues.

"and of course I'll answer whatever questions you have."

but before I could get a word in, he follows up with a question.

"can you turn into a werewolf, and if you can why aren't you doing it?"

I then think to myself.

"oh that's right he only remembers me back when

I used to transform, and is not familiar with my silver eyes."

I reply.

"my mana needs to be flowing of I want to transform, and since I'm in here with you my mana flow has been blocked."

"I guess a plan to escape this place is gone out of the question then."

he looks at me and asks.

"oh yeah I totally forgot. what were you going to ask me?"

I stand up and ask.

"is there a routine to this prison, or do we just spend all of our time here?"

he responds.

"we spend most of our time locked in this cell, and we only get out when it's time to eat breakfast, dinner, recreation and when we go mine for iron, but we only do that once a week."

I follow up.

"how much recreation time do we get?"

"only an hour."

he pauses, thinks for a second and adds on.

"the guards also pick sixteen random inmates and make them fight in a tournament, and they make a huge event out it, by letting us watch with them."

I ask curiously.

"so there are no laws protecting us?"

he replies laughing.

"nope, we are their property until we serve our sentence or if they decide to sell us to some slave owner."

I then ask him."

"but you got a life sentence didn't you, what about you?"

he sighs and responds.

"well they permanently blocked my mana flow the moment I got here."

I reply.

"oh I see."

I then think to myself.

"that's wierd, if they got the green liquid that can permanently block someone's mana flow, why don't they use it on every prisoner?"

lost in my thoughts Aktosh asks me.

"It's been bothering me since you got here, but how did they manage to catch you?"

I sigh and reply.

"that's none of your business."

he then lays down on his bed and replies.

"alright, I won't ask again then."

and as I climb up to the top bed, a gaurd comes up to the cell dor and says.

"prisoner number seven, zero, two, nine, seven you've got a visitor."

I then think to myself.

"already, who could it be?"

the guard shouts.

"open cell number four, two, three!"

the cell door slide opens and then he shouts.

"close cell number four, three!"

the gaurd then starts to escort me straight to where the visitation building is at.
